  1. Kamino

    Hey everyone, now I know you have been waiting for this in a long time, dont forget its a version 1 so it has some bugs here is a list of them
     
    1 FPS is a little low in the clone room (I cant really do a lot about that but I will try).
     
    2 parts of the map show through the sky box whilst standing on Jango's landing pad.
     
    3 Layout - I will alter the layout of Kamino for version 2 so that things are closer together.
     
    4 The locked doors in this version will lead to other areas in version 2
     
    So If you guys can put those little things aside for a while and enjoy this version until I get version 2 out that would be great!!
     
    Anyway, now for the details; I used terragen to make the sky box images I tried to make them as kamino as possible but I think I may tweak them for version 2 (I hope to have a moving sea too). I would say that 85% of the textures in kamino are custom and I made them using photoshop 7.0 and made use of several of the pluggins there for effects, such as making the black non solid (gothixc I am sure you will be pleased LOL).
     
    I have used two custom models in this map; the excelent Jedi Starfighter and the wicked slave1 both of which I got permission to use and I have included the readmes that came with them in this pk3. One thing I must say though is that as the slave1 modle was textured as bobba's version I retextured it to silver and blue, its not such a great texture job but never mind.
     
    There are a few doors in this map that must be opened using the force, if you remember in Episode II Jango cuts the line and Obiwan falls down and manages to grapple that ledge/walkway, well I included this area so when you are on Jangos landing pad be sure to re-enact this scene!! the door on that walkway is made so that you have to use the force to open, once opened it takes you to a lift that will rise back up to the top of the pad
     
    Anyways I hope you guys enjoy it - I enjoyed making it I hope its what you were expecting, after all its just a map!

  3. Keren Citadel

    The map was made small on purpose to make sure that you always spawn "right into action" instead of having to run miles just to get back to the spot where you just lost a duel.
     
    Next is that, I at same time, wanted good looks with high FPS so it's always nice just to "hang out". The map is Naboo themed, though, I don't want any comments saying that it SHOULD look like that and this.
     
    I wanted it to look this way. Call it what you want.
     
    The name, Keren Citadel, might seem very odd to the most. But "Keren" is a city on Naboo - still, don't compare to your own opinion about how that should look like.
     
    Last is that I have included 2 secrets in the map. I'm not going to spoil anything about those.

  4. Korriban Holdout

    This is a little project of mine that I decided to release. I would consider this my first "real" map, as all my others were quite nooby. It is a small-moderate size FFA and team FFA that has plenty of secrets, including cracked walls and a few other secret passages. It is supposed to take place in an abandoned korriban fortress or something, hence the name "Korriban Holdout."

    - I know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Ebon Hawk interior, and the answer is simple, but somewhat hard to explain:
    When you are inside the Ebon Hawk in KotOR, it's MUCH bigger than it is when you're outside. And so, making those two pieces fit
    would be practically impossible. This be also the reason why I didn't make the loading ramp leading to the Hawk's interior, in
    case anyone wanted to know.
     
    - I also know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Dantooine plains while I was at it, and there are several reasons:
    It would be extremely hard to make it look alright, considering the shape of the "hills" that are out there. If I for some
    reason should be able to make it, the map would be too big, or, I would have to place "invisible walls" everywhere, to limit the
    area. And if there are things I really hate in a map, it's "invisible walls".
     
    - Additionally, if anyone's going to ask why the skybox is so easy to hit, that would be because the structure of the original map
    itself did not open up for alot of bunny-jumping. It would just mess up alot, and sometimes allowing the jumping player to see
    over the walls and into the rooms beyond it, which I do not want to happen - but it is regretable anyway.
     
    And so, as those three questions above has been answered here in the read-me, I will not be answering them later on, so don't ask.

  8. Ladoras Rage

    This is a older map of mine released back in 2007 on jk2files. I felt it was time to move them over to some thing a bit more main stream. Any ways Ladoras rage was based on an unreal tournament level, with all new textures and music, it is the perfect atmosphere for a wild merc war!
     
    later this year I will be making some adjustments to this map, so keep an eye out for v2.5!

  9. LF - Arena de Duelos

    Description:
    "LF Arena Duelos" is a clan map designed by FireFox (ArkantoS15) and mapped by Cristian_L. It was intended as a Tri al ground, so don't expect it to be very big. It has got two sectors for battlers, which are connected to the main area by a bridge each one (both bridges can be deactivated in those sectors).
    Feel free to report any bugs or errors like for example: missing textures (though we have previously checked all this).
    Installation:
    Unzip the file, and get LFArenaDuelos.pk3 in your base folder.

    **EDIT** Version 2 is here! This was actually done shortly after the release of the original version, I just hadn't gotten around to releasing it! There will be a third installment, but I've no idea when I'll get around to that. For now, please enjoy!

    This map was originally inspired by the Defender-Class Light Corvette featured in Star Wars: The Old Republic. As construction has gone on however, things've deviated completely as I've pieced together my own design. I'd encourage you to take a look at the screenshots to get an idea for the feel of the place.

    Thanks for coming to take a look at my map! I've had very little time on my hands, so I have no idea when I'll be able to construct the rest of the ship! I've closed off the incomplete areas, but they'll re-open in the next version!

    COMMENTS:
     
    This map contains the following:
    ~6 Floors, basement added into those numbers
    ~Yavin_Trial setup in JA straight from Jedi Outcast
    ~The map has heavy model usage
    ~Under the hangar, underground section lays all the trialing areas
    ~3 Music switches
    ~Ambient sound effects
    ~Remote from Single Player in the bot room
    ~Training sticks for staff and single that do 1 damage
     
    1st Floor contains the following:
    ~Galaxy Map Room
    ~Dueling Room
    ~Bot Room
    ~Force Room
    ~Archives
    ~Catwalk for masters or spectators to view all rooms in a safe position away from harm
     
    2nd Floor contains the following:

    The yavin_trial area is designed for 1 person at a time and requires a map restart to resetup the entire area
    for a new runner due to it's script usage. Since the area itself was originally a single player map in Jedi
    Outcast. Higher level force powers will also render the majority of the area pointless. It's designed for
    core force powers and basic problem solving.
     
    The following force powers are all you need to complete the trial area:
    ~Level 1 Push
    ~Level 1 Pull
    ~Level 1 Jump
    ~Level 1 Speed
     
    No weapon is required to finish the area.
     
    I tested the whole yavin_trial area a few times and it worked for me. One thing I changed was the pillar, it
    now is stationary, but the force cage at the end is still in place. It is possible to get the Ysalimari
    inside the cage, for it is the only way to finish and exit the yavin_trial area. A hallway connects the
    yavin_trial areas exits to a hangar lift and to the yavin_final themed trial dueling area.
     
    The trial dueling room can be accessed at any time via the elevator to the exit of the trial area. The last door
    to yavin_trial can only be opened from the inside.
     
    Map loading up time was around a minute or so on my computer, roughly that of a base JK map.
     
    If there is ANY missing textures or walls missing. Be sure to post and let me know so that I may fix it.

  19. Moe's Tavern

    This is Moe's tavern from the Simpsons! This map has everything, the bar, pool table, booths to eat at, the "love" Machine, and lots more. There even the Flaming Moe! There is lots of room outside, on the roof - where the B-Sharps sang, and a little less inside but still enough room to duel. I ahve also put about 5 songs together for the background music. All the music has been in an episode and I think you should know them all(maybe not the last one, its the newest). Outside, there is also a parking lot with three cars. Behind the building is also a dumpster.
     
    I made this map after seeing an episode of the simpsons with Moe's Tavern in it(which epiode doesnt?) but then I thought I would take a break from Sith Council Verion 2 and make this. I have made all tetxures from extacting colours from pics of the tavern. So all textures are mine. I had also wanted to add Moe's Office but I cound't find any pics of it. I am planing on making more of the town so once I do, I hope to find a pic of it so I can add it next version. This map took me about 2 1/2 weeks off and on...

    The map is based on Monopoly Board Game. It has fully functioning Property Cards, houses and jail. 
    In addition, there are Chance and Community Chest Cards as presented on screenshots. 
    The map does not contain a fully functioning system, including a scoreboard, which would be Credits, and the map cannot randomly generate a number of the dices or chance cards. 
    It was way beyond my skills, I am afraid. If someone is willing to make it, message me, and I can send a source file.
    The Monopoly_Low.pk3 has low resolution textures, 
    whereas the high version has high-quality textures, but it will affect loading time.
    Hope you will enjoy this.
    Music:
    The map uses a Monopoly Main Theme.
    Installation:
    Extract the ZIP file using WinRAR or 7Zip. The extracted files copy and paste in the
    Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/Game Data/base folder. You can start the solo match, or use it on a server.

  22. MortMaps

    These maps are brought to you by ~Mortyrshell.
     
    Nothing makes JKA great like simple maps and a challenge. These are nothing fancy and add a little bit of challenge.

    The duel maps are simplified versions of the FFA maps with the same number.
     
    MMDuel1, MMDuel2, MMDuel3, and MMDuel4 work with duel and power duel.
    MMFFA1, MMFFA2, and MMFFA3 work with FFA and TFFA.
    MMFFA2 works with CTF.
    MMFFA4/MMFFA4A is a giant map designed for spawning flying vehicles.
     
    All maps have some degree of bot compatibility.
     
    If you have any requests/suggestions/bugs you can find me on JKHub or in game on weekdays.

  23. Mos Eisley Meanstreets

    Brush Count : 3564 (blimey - it was fun though!)
    Entity Count : 237
    Millennium Falcon : 887 brushes all of its own & 38 entities !!
    (will feature in more maps...)
    Software used : JK2Radiant & GtkRadiant v 1.3.12 & GtkRadiant v 1.3.13
    Known Bugs : there are a couple of flies buzzing around in the shadows but apart from that I think I've eradicated everything. If you DO find anything suspect in my construction, PLEASE email me as I will really cherish either positive OR negative feedback with many thanks.
    Build Time : 3 days short of FAR too long... and then some!
     
     
    Hidden in the barren wastelands of Tatooine, beyond the hills south of Mos Eisley, is a secret fortress town constructed as an academy-ground for hopeful mercenaries working for the Hutts. Long deserted when Imperial authorities first came to take the spoils of war, the town now serves as a battle arena for hardened warriors from across the Outer Rim. The walls ring out with the sounds of weaponry and death and only the most attuned fighters will champion the Meanstreets.
     
    Oh, and by the way, there's also the Falcon!

    Mos Eisley Spaceport by night. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. You might, however, find Sssid's can of coke! Have fun!

    NOTE
    This map began life with LivingDeadJedi but was stolen by Bothan spies working for the Rebel Alliance. It somehow found its way into the hands of Several Sided Sid, by way of bribery and terrible deception. Though the map sports Sith-J-Cull's Millennium Falcon, unfortunately the ship has been impounded by Imperials so you can't get in! Even if you try... and believe us, we have.
     
    AND OH - IF YOU LIKE SEARCHING FOR SSSID'S CAN OF COKE - IT IS IN HERE TOO!
     
    SSSID RECOMMENDS ON THIS OCCASION SEARCHING WITH YOUR SABRE IGNITED, AS IT GETS RATHER DARK POKING AROUND AT NIGHT AND HE WOULD HATE YOU TO WALK RIGHT PAST IT. HEH.
     
    SSSID, AS USUAL, WELCOMES SCREENSHOTS EMAILED TO HIM BY ANYONE WHO STUMBLES OVER THE CAN !!!
     
    BUT IF YOU HURT YOURSELF - SSSID ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER !!!

    The outskirts of Mos Espa Spaceport, haven to smugglers from every corner of the galaxy. This map is not set in one particular time frame from the saga, but rather a glimpse at life in the port in general, with many vehicles to be explored and places to be found.
