Update: Thank you for your feedback! Please view the change log for a list of updates. As always if you encounter any issues, do let me know! About the mod: Please unzip the NewBeginning.zip folder and extract the contents to your Gamedata folder. Once installed, you may use the included "newbeginning.bat" file to load the mod for you. These instructions should apply to a disc and Steam installation (as I've used both!) This is a single player mod set one year after the original game (Light Side ending.) You will play as a new character over three levels (discounting cinematic maps) and two bonus levels. Two take place in the Jedi Academy and one at one of the many training grounds. I strongly encourage you to explore the first level as there're a fair few secrets and Easter Eggs to be found! It was designed with the original Jedi Outcast level in mind, which means you could end it very, very quickly if you wanted to bypass the fun of exploration and move onto the trial level. The trial is the same one that was originally released here on JKHub with minor edits. I wanted to place emphasis on the Yavin Temple in order to receive feedback while I work on a brand new trial level and the first mission beyond the Jedi Academy. If you encounter any bugs- Oh, God. Please, please don't tell me you've encountered any bugs. ;_; My head might implode! Special thanks to Circa for play testing at various stages of development! Additional thanks to everyone over in this thread for providing so much help (still). Problems with the .bat? A Windows 8 tester did seem to be having a problem loading the mod with the .bat provided. They overcame this by creating a shortcut to their jasp.exe. (Right-click, copy, paste shortcut) Open the shortcut's "properties" and then move to the "shortcut" tab. Then, add the following (after a space) onto the "Target:" field: "+set sv_pure 0 +set fs_game newbeginning" Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\jasp.exe" +set sv_pure 0 +set fs_game newbeginning" I hope this helps!

*********************************** Read me *********************************** TITLE: The Old Republic Saber Colors FINAL AUTHOR: Kylo Ren (Formerly Arachno-Man) FILENAME: torsabers.pk3 FILESIZE: 147 kb DATE RELEASED: March, 25th 2015 CREDITS to: Myself. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: place the torsabers.pk3 file in your C:\programfiles\lucasarts\jediacademy\gamedata\base directory. DESCRIPTION: Saber Colors from Star Wars: The Old Republic, which replaces ALL of the default colors. This is the FINAL VERSION. Here is a small changelog for those interested: 1.0 - Contained only the purple saber with a pure black core. 2.0 - Contained an updated purple saber core to look more like the game, also contained new glows and cores for the yellow, blue and red sabers to look exactly how they do in SWTOR. FINAL VERSION - This will not be edited anymore, as this has fixed the red glow to look darker like in TOR and I have changed the yellow saber glow to match the TOR version, adding the TOR green saber and finally the TOR orange saber. To note the orange saber is the ONLY saber in the pack to contain a black core. BUGS: Sometimes the colors go a little brighter at certain angles, unavoidable due to alpha usage. COMMENTS: Download and enjoy. note that you must have JKA installed in order to use this mod. EXTRA: If you just so happen to be a fan of TOR, or play it yourself, then you may contact me in regards to creating a new Saber for you. Please note this will only be the blade color, I will not be making any Hilts. If you want Hilts, contact Rooxon at JKHub. If you want new blade colors then contact me, Kylo Ren at JKHub. THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC. ELEMENTS TM & © LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC AND/OR ITS LICENSORS.

This is an entity mod that changes FFA3 (Tatooine City) into a Yavin temple theme, as well as included bonus rooms that teleport you to other maps from the game as little (or big) duel rooms or just to hang out in private. These teleports are not shown with any flashy glowing orbs or anything like some entity mods, so if you don't want to bother with them, nothing will effect the FFA3 experience. However, if you see any door in the core FFA3 area, it will lead somewhere else, and will lead back to that door. You need to press the Use key (default R) to enter the doors. This is strictly an entity mod, which means you can upload it to a server and nobody will need to download a pk3 to see the changes. All entities and textures are from the vanilla assets. However, if you want to have an accurate levelshot when loading in, you can put it in your local base folder too if you'd like. The botroutes and spawns have also been redone. Spawns are now in the center area around the dropship, making it easier to get to the traditional FFA spot that most people hang out in, rather than spawning far away like default. Botroutes are now more basic to reduce the risk of them getting stuck in the hangar and the dropship as easily like in vanilla. Door 1: The main large door by the main FFA area will lead to academy4, the large academy hall from SP that Luke and the students normally are in. All NPCs removed, it's a large area for fighting or conducting ceremonies or classes. Door 2: The small door outside of the hangar door, the upper part of the ramp will lead to duel6, the giant Yavin courtyard duel map. Finding the right door to go back to might be difficult since all 4 look identical. Future versions might include an indicator effect for this problem. Door 3: The door behind the brown dropship, down the hallway on the right will lead to t1_inter, the small room from SP where Jaden and Rosh talk shit behind Kyle's back. Good for 1v1 duels or private conversations. Door 4: The door behind the bar will lead to duel10, the small Vjun power station room. More of a bonus room, as it's kind of a terrible duel room. But it fits the "back of the bar" feel decently well I suppose. -========================================- If you want to check this map out online, my server ( -I|I- SHADOW ØRDER ) will always have it. I did this for that server as one of our main "clan maps" that was a cool way to impress new players without requiring them to download a new map. You can reach our server at /connect so.jk3.in -========================================- -===============- -!|!- CHANGELOG -!|!- -===============- 2.0: - Restored health packs, ammo, all default items (kind of essential, not sure why they were removed) - Removed force boon for teleport method, replaced with invisible trigger and required the Use key to activate - Removed different chat icon - Added 3 more teleports to 3 more maps (academy4, duel6, t1_inter), all doors will now lead somewhere (see description) - Changed ambient sound set to Yavin exterior so you can hear birds and wind and whatnot - Removed "mysterious secrets" as they weren't particularly necessary - Changed spawn points to be closer to the action and most doors - Changed bot routes to be more simple, reducing risk of bots getting stuck but also staying out of the main area - Added a new levelshot if you'd like to use this pk3 locally to show the accurate loading screen 1.0 (copied from Sword's readme): - Compiled two maps together, There is a teleport in the mp/ffa3 bar leads to mp/duel02. - (Note, Because I have used item force boon as a teleport, you have to enable Force Boons) - Most textures are changed. - Music is also changed to fit Yavin style. - Added some mysterious secrets. - Removed all med kits, shield kits, ammo, and all useless crap. - Chat icon is different - There is probably something more i forgot about. -==========- -!|!- NOTE -!|!- -==========- There is currently no way to set your respawn point in these rooms, so you will have to travel back to the room from the main spawn room every time. With the new spawns that's not nearly as much of a chore as before, but still kind of annoying. -================- -!|!- KNOWN BUGS -!|!- -================- The lighting had to be overcompensated for the use of the teleport areas, so character models might look slightly too bright, but the alternative is to be super dark so I think this was a better solution. Certain sounds may be missing in the teleport rooms like footsteps. Since they are mostly small and for dueling 1v1, this isn't much of a problem. Footsteps are fine in the main FFA3 area. Looking at the sky from the bonus maps will show the FFA3 area in the skybox. This is a limitation of using this method, nothing can be done, but the bright side is none of the bonus maps show it without you purposefully going to the windows and looking down. -============- -!|!- CREDITS -!|!- -============- All credit to Sword (aka @unsword ) to their first version doing the hard part, I merely built upon it and changed things to how I preferred them for my server. -=================- -!|!- INSTALLATION -!|!- -=================- This is meant for server use, so upload the pk3 file to your server's base folder. If you're using locally, put the pk3 in the base folder of your Jedi Academy GameData directory (Jedi Academy/Gamedata/base)

*************************** JEDI KNIGHT III MODIFICATION *************************** Title : JoFBall Author(s): PreFX, Weske Credits : Atlas, Perso, Gnost, ZantuS File Name : {JoF}Ball.pk3 File size : 164mb Website : www.jofacademy.eu JoFBall is an upgraded version of Kyleball (original idea by ZantuS) where two teams contest for the ball by using their saber to score goals. JoFBall is a popular event for the JKA clan ‘Jedi of Freedom’. Events are regularly held on the {JoF}Public Server. JoF members have the privilege to participate in the yearly JoFBall tournaments and have a chance to compete for the Striker title. The {JoF}Ball.pk3 is a bundle consisting of the following maps: JoFBall JoFBall_tournament JoFBall_skillgames ‘JoFBall’ is the first custom map and upgrade for the original Kyleball. This map features a central hub with teleports leading to 3 unique maps. Each map is different in size and has a different theme. Arena should be played 3v3, Streets 4v4 and Stadium 6v6. ‘JoFBall_tournament’ features a central hub with teleports leading to three identical Arena’s. In comparison to its predecessor, the arena has an upgraded look, substitution area (dug-out) and spectator room. Thanks to built-in triggers (admin room), the host can simultaneously initiate the start/stop of a round across all three arena’s. In addition to this, in-game messages are displayed for players to keep track of time. ‘JoFBall skillgames’ is a map which focuses on individual improvement presented in a set of fun and challenging minigames. Thanks to built-in triggers, the map allows repetitive practice in the core mechanics such as passing, shooting and keeping. Each minigame is supported with a tutorial and there is a distinction between basic and advanced to make sure everyone, regardless of skill, can play. JoFBall is designed to run on any JA+ server and requires the below server settings to work as intended. g_speed 300 g_saberdamagescale 1.75 g_saberdmgvelocityscale 1.85 jp_allowSaberTouchDMG 1 d_saberSPStyleDamage 0 The four JoFBall Rules Gameplay video’s Installation Just put the pk3 in GameData\base in your game directory. Write /jofballon in the console to load the 'JoFBall_skillgames' map and simulate the server settings in local Multiplayer. Best played in TFFA gametype. Known bugs Due to fast light compile, player models tend to look darker. Final words JoFBall is a project that we have been working on since late 2019. We hope you enjoy this map as much as we do! ABOUT ====================== This mod changes the layout of your Heads Up Display to look a bit more holographic/techy of sorts. There are different colors of it, and it's up to you to pick which any one you'd like to play with. INSTALLATION / UNINSTALLATION ====================== Pick one of the .pk3 files and put them in your JKA GameData/base folder. To uninstall, simply remove that file from your folder. Note that you can only have one at a time. KNOWN BUGS/GLITCHES ====================== These aren't exactly "bugs and glitches" but more of what may need fixing in future releases. - HUD too big, may cover the CTF flag status on your lower left part of the HUD. - Is supposed to work with Zyk mod as I have put in code and graphics for Desann's and Tavion's saber style. However, I haven't made it work yet. BONUS .PSD FILE ====================== If you wanna tinker with the HUD files themselves, here's my .PSD file. Be warned, many layers aren't named. LOL

NEW SHIT HAS COME TO LIGHT! After a couple of years striving secretly I’m able to present you… The Jedi Abides: A Big Lebowski mod for Jedi Academy. Here you impersonate Jaden Lebowski —The Dude —, the counterpart of our favorite junkie bon vivant Jeffrey Lebowski from our galaxy far, far away. He is the man for his time and place, and is now on his way to the Jedi Academy. Many elements from the movie — and little surprises as well — were added to the playthrough. The Dude is not only visually a playable character, but also his dialogues were modified to pave the way for the new journey. As a result, it is possible to play the mod from beginning to end without the original narrative losing any sense. Well, actually… when I said all the dialogues, I meant all of them except for the dark side ending — for now. Given the whole COVID-19 and lockdown circumstances, I decided to release the mod before finishing this part. This way, the fans of Big Lebowski and Star Wars around the world can have one more option of entertainment, being able to soothe the soul in the present quarantine times. Speaking of which, since I have no intention of making any profit from this mod, in case anybody miraculously happens to find a suitcase carrying a million dollars and considers supporting this project, I would rather have it donated to the NO KID HUNGRY — a NGO created by Jeff Bridges, the Dude himself, who is now making efforts to support children in need during the coronavirus crisis. In times like these, any amount of money is urgent and welcome. Here is the website: https://www.nokidhungry.org/ And that’s all! I appreciate your attention and wish you a good time with the mod. Far f. out! IMPORTANT - This mod is meant to be played on Single Player only. - Jedi Academy must be patched to version 1.01 to work. I guess. - Some bugs may occur if the player dies in Hoth levels. I couldn’t fix it. Sorry. - The models were originally made by DT85 and Aaron Smith. Should anybody feel like developing a model of a more detailed Dude, just contact me and I’ll include the work with all the credits. - To have subtitles on for all dialogue, open the console (SHIFT + ~) and type “/g_subtitles 1”. HOW TO INSTALL - The beauty of it is in its simplicity. Just move the PK3 file into the “base” folder of your game directory. - In the character selection menu, choose the Dude. Otherwise you might end up finding a stranger in the alps… which is not good, man. The Jedi Abides - Intro: The Jedi Abides - First Mission (Yavin IV):

Hello all, and thank you for checking out this file. This is RPG Yalara v2, a revival and remastering of the original Yalara RP map by CydonPrax, then known as Ki-Adi-Mundi. The map is very popular with RP communities, and as such, I thought I'd try to give it a little facelift. That facelift turned into a bit more time as I decided to completely redo entire sections of the map, so here we are. The readme will contain a full list of the changes, should you wish to see them. One of the biggest changes is a marked improvement in performance, as I believe the original map never had a full -vis compile. So portalling is done better and as such, the city and temple exterior sections run much smoother. A friendly alert that this map will likely require OpenJK to run, as it seems that base versions don't support the number of triggers / interactables present on this map. Under those conditions, the elevators in the temple don't work. However, you can still access the second floor via a teleport on the map; check out the readme for info on that. Anyways, I hope those of you still RPing can enjoy the map, and I look forward to hopefully producing another!

    Vreyx

This file has been created for the role-playing organization Szlakiem Jedi (Trail of the Jedi). The primary authors of the base on which was formed are Sithani and ranisdeguery. Vreyx is based on their Vode An: Delta Squad (Delta Squad 0.8). Vreyx isn't a canonical character - he was created and is played inside our Role-Playing organization szlakiem-jedi.pl for several years. There is no real reflection in any product of Star Wars (as a brand). I spent many hours creating textures and shadering. I hope that you'll like it! Enjoy! This model contains the following options: - vrx (default, fully equiped) - vrx/backpack (it is obvious) - vrx_h (default as first - but WITHOUT helmet) - vrx_h/backpack (trololo) Many thanks to the original creators of a model. Thanks to them I had the opportunity to create something that I am very proud. I hope that you will appreciate my work! Contact to the author: Avidhal vinax@szlakiem-jedi.pl

Jedi's Home III (3) is a continuation of a community favorite map series "Jedi's Home 1 & 2". In my earliest JKA days I remember these maps as many of us do. A lot of mixed memories but most of all I remember the many communities that used those maps, the hours they spent hunting the secrets! I wanted to bring that back, to capture it in all of its glory and then maximize it with what JKA can handle. To bring all of that back and then expand on it just enough to hint at some thing bigger to come; above all I wanted you all to come back together the way we all once were. I hope this map helps you make new memories with your JKA families and friends. Now on a technical side this map is insane! Not to toot my own horn but wow! This was 7 years of work. A lot of it spent hard core dedicated to it, other times personal life came into play. I made sure to include many of the classic Jh1/2 Secrets and to expand even more by adding new one's and "Easter Egg" hunts. This map was a huge group effort in many ways, from bug testing, various models, input and guidance, testing servers, Guinea pigs, and just down right random helpers. From day one it has been a community effort! Known bugs - some times when not using the reflection plug in some spots under certain lighting conditions can look strange here and there. (Just a few spots). This map is huge, as such it can take a bit to load, don't freak out. These and many other issues will be fixed in the Jedi's Home 3.5 update coming next December. A special shout out to the following. AshuraDx - This guy is really awesome, he's really into perspective and illusions - So you can thank him for the creepy Palpatine painting and Ackbar!!! Anoek - What can I say, if there is a heart in this map it was her. I'm sorry about what happened. I left your stuff just as you asked. Thank you for every thing. Helena of Clan Jawa - I swear this woman drove me nuts for so long about the angle of the stairs in the archives it drove me to totally rebuild the stairs all together! In other words thank you for all your support and techy help as well as the inspiration for the furtniture. (Sadly due to texture limitations I wasn't able to use any of your models) I did rebuild a likeness of your chair for this in .map for what I needed.) Any who point is she is the grandma of this map!!! You got a place in the senate hall check it out!!! Robert - I based the main room of the Sith base on a map he built long ago though his heart was in it he never got to release that map. Readme File: *************************** JEDI KNIGHT III MODIFICATION *************************** Title : {JoF}'s Jedi Temple V1 Author(s): Fifthforge, Zefilus & Ez Contributor(s): Milamber, Aldro Koon, Fuzzy, Exonimus Website : www.jofacademy.eu File Version: 1.0 File Name : {JoF}TempleV1.pk3 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Description : A map that started in February of 2015 and completed within 11 months from the clan Jedi of Freedom, {JoF}. It is meant as a tribute to the clan and as a way for the clan to finally replace the infamous JediCouncilGCX and Jedi'sHomeJL 2. This map had a lot of great authors and was a collaboration of several JoF members. We are incredibly pleased with how this map turned out so I suggest everyone offers their bandwidth to experience it. You will not be disappointed. Also a big thanks to Shadowstone for making JH2 as we clearly drew mad inspiration to make the first mainhall. Likewise a huge thanks to Griffinclaw for his GCX map as the pillars and lava areas are entirely from him due to those being a classic part of our trials in the clan. Thanks to Sith-J-Cull for some mad texture work in his Coruscant/Padmes home map. Lastly: None of this would be possible if it wasnt for the crazy work of Fifthforge, Zefilus, Ez, Milamber, Aldro, Fuzzy and the rest of {JoF}. Once again, a big shoutout to Fifthforge for pushing this map out within 11 months. * Map Information * Bot Support: No New Textures: Yes New Music: Yes ----------------------------------------------------------------- Installation : Just put the pk3 in GameData\base in your game directory. Known bug(s) : Singleplayer might not load properly due to a statue having a too long filename length (MAX_QPATH). Simply remove the PK3 from base to be able to play singleplayer again. ------------------------------------------------------------------ * Copyright / Permissions * Other editors may NOT use this map as base for other maps, using reverse decompile methods. Exclusive to JKhub.org - This is the latest compile of the Yuna Model for Jedi Academy, that utilizes the player model customization in both Multi Player and Single Player. This was the last compile I did of this model back in late 2004 while I still had the ability to use 3DS MAX 4.2, and the XSI exporter... (4.2 doesn't work on Windows XP for some reason) I had this nearly completed, but I intended to release it with additional other oufits/skins...and it was just slowly forgotten on my machine... Until now.

This compilation of models, and skins that go alongside of them, began several years ago for the JEDI Role-Playing community (www.jediholo.net). Within the pk3, are the various outfits of the character Sirius Invictus as well as those of secondary characters that I have utilized within the RP realm during those aforementioned years. Custom personal droid, custom High Republic Jedi Outfit, a human female kitbash/retexture, a semi-custom semi-kitbashed Nelvaan character, a custom sphere-shaped holocron. With a huge amount of the things mentioned having custom texturing. The crowning jewels of it all, at least in my own mind, are some details such as the chronometer the character sports, complete with its own shadering and animation, as well as the fully shadered and animated starmap that can be toggled on (either in front of the model, above its wrist, or the starmap can -be- the model. In which case you spawn it wherever you wish to set it on a scene for RP purposes). I hope it helps people dissecting it to learn more things about the wonderful things one can achieve with photoshop, blender and ingame testing. At the very least, spark some creativity or provide some assets to people seeking them as I once did and had next to none. ~Sirius

RELEASED: 10 April 2016 AUTHOR: Cerez (cerezk.oz@gmail.com) DESCRIPTION: This OpenJK mod adds three new player view options to the Multiplayer game, activated by four buttons on the right side of the keyboard (namely , . / '). FEATURES: ----------------------------------- TRUE VIEW: Full first person view (even with a lightsaber). ACTION VIEW: A third person view of your character, following closer, reminiscent of many action games, movies, and TV shows when the character is in a battle scene. The reticle is disabled by default in this view to provide a more cinematic experience. CAMERA VIEW: This option anchors the view to your location, effectively creating a third person camera perspective. The view will rotate to follow your character, but it will not move from its current position. It's useful for taking cinematic screenshots, for example. DEFAULT VIEW: Conveniently reverts back to the game's default third person player view settings. ONLINE SERVER SUPPORT: Since this is a client-side modification, this mod works just as well in any server environment you're visiting. You can duel with other players in first person view if you want to, for example, or use the closer-to-the-action view instead of the game's default view, and switch between them. INSTALLATION: ----------------------------------- You'll need OpenJK installed and set up as a prerequisite: https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK/wiki/Installing-OpenJK Move "openjk.pk3" to your "~/Documents/My Games/OpenJK/base" folder. Move "views.cfg" to your base folder. Move "openjk.x86.exe" to your "<game install location>/GameData" folder, replacing the default "openjk.x86.exe", and use it to run the Multiplayer game. Run the game, and in the game console type "exec views" to bind the view switching keys to your keyboard. ADDITIONAL NOTES: You can edit "views.cfg" in Notepad to change which keys are bound for view switching, or to change an individual view's settings. To unbind a bound key, simply type "unbind", followed by the key in the game's console (e.g. "unbind ,"). If you want to use this mod in a non-basejka, custom server mod environment (such as JA+, or Lugormod), be sure to copy "openjk.pk3" to that mod's client-side folder as well in "~/Documents/My Games/OpenJK". KNOWN BUGS: ----------------------------------- In first person view the view will not roll over, spin around, or flip upside down when your character does. I consider this a feature rather than a bug. When the view spins and moves so quickly, it usually causes disorientation and motion sickness in players. CREDITS: ----------------------------------- Custom Compiled and Scripted by: Cerez This mod was built using the OpenJK source: https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK/ SPECIAL THANKS TO: The OpenJK project, and everyone at JKHub. PERMISSIONS: ----------------------------------- Hereby permission is given to anyone to edit and create derivative works of the contents of this mod.

When i started on May 16 2014 09:25 PM, to create this model no one seems to care about it ! Until the help come from @RevanKnight then later in 2016 the sounds come from @Kylo Ren. The beta model is no longer available (the black color). Maybe some users from JKhub still have it because i give it for testing, long time ago. The actual model is finish (silver/metallic color) but my animations are not ! Because of many requests of the costume i will release for free, without the animations and other force effects. The costume inspiration is from TFU2. In my opinion this costume is the best for StarKiller/Galen Marek. For StarKiller's lightsaber you can try this: http://jkhub.org/files/file/1686-starkillers-lightsaber-ashuradx/ For single backhand animation you can try this: http://jkhub.org/files/file/732-tfu-push/ For double backhand animation you can try this: http://jkhub.org/files/file/1641-katanamaru-backhand-styles/ Instructions to play this MOD: 1. Download my file: Xeby-Dark-Marek-v2.pk3 2. Copy and paste the pk3 file from this zip file to your "base" folder, the default path is "C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/GameData/Base". 3. In the JKA game press [shift]+[~] then in the console write: playermodel xeby_dark_marek (without the hood) playermodel xeby_dark_marek_h (with the hood) playermodel xeby_dark_marek2 (without the hood) playermodel xeby_dark_marek2_h (with the hood) Enjoy my MOD ! And now the Credits: Xeby RevanKnight --------------------------------------------------------------- Hapslash (for the hood of Anakin's costume) DarthPhae (for the head of Galen Marek) Kylo Ren (for the Sounds) Dark Apprentice (for the new black texture) Seven (for fixing the hood glitch) Any modifications on this costume is not allowed without My and @RevanKnight permission.

Pair with my Prequel Music Replacement for BEST results! The Prequel Conversion mod will do exactly that: convert the Single Player campaign story and experience into that of the prequel Star Wars movies (Episodes I, II, and III). This includes replacing various characters to those in the movies. A list will be given below to reveal what is replaced: Characters: - Trade Federation Battledroids (with corresponding rank colors):Stormtroopers, Imperials, Snowtroopers - Super Battledroids: Imperials, Rocket Troopers, Stormtrooper Commander, Saboteur - Droidekas: Hazardtroopers, Assassin Droids - Maganaguards with Electrostaff: Cultists - Jango Fett: Boba Fett - Nute Gunray: Racto (the guy on Coruscant who's making illegal droids) - Wat Tambor: Rax (the fat Imperial who chases Jaden for sport) - Clone troopers (Mark II): Rebel, Wedge Weapons: - E-5 Blaster Rifle (Battledroid blaster): E-11 Blaster Rifle (Stormtrooper blaster) - KiSteer 1284 sniper rifle (Zam Wessel's rifle): Tenloss Projectile Sniper Rifle - DC-15A Repeating Blaster (Clone Assault Blaster): Imperial Repeater Vehicles: - Hailfire droid: AT-ST - Republic Gunship/ARC-170 Starfighter: X-Wing (Cinematic/Vehicle) - Jedi Starfighter (Mark II): Z-95 - Vulture Droid Starfighter: TIE Fighter - Trifighter/Soulless One (Grievous' Starfighter): TIE Bomber Effects: - Blaster pistol: from yellow to red - Repeater: from yellow and round to blue and normal looking - Turrets: yellow to red Voices: - Nute Gunray has a brand new voice, thanks to a friend who is an excellent voice actor. - Wat Tambor has Rax's voice but with effects to make it sound more like his. - Dialogue from Jaden is changed to say Jango in instead of Boba - Stormtrooper conversations are changed to droid conversations. I had to think, "What would droids talk about?" - Cultist conversations with each other and with Alora are now more "magnaguard" sounding. I did the best I could. - Rebel/Wedge dialogue is filtered to sound like it's from a Clone trooper helmet. - Dialogue that mentions the Empire or Stormtroopers has either been changed to say droids or just removed with context in tact Misc: - Levelshots updated to reflect various changes (mostly the vehicles) - All subtitles and menus edited to remove all mention of Imperial/Empire/Stormtroopers and to reflect dialogue changes - Menus and HUD changed to reflect new weapons. - The Super Battledroid uses it's own animations thanks to the MBII team. It also uses the old bryar slot that isn't used in JA. - All scripting issues were resolved all thanks to therfiles at JKHub. He was oh so very helpful. Comments: This is a quite large mod that I started quite a long time ago with the original release of my "Battledroid SP" mod. I took a long break from modding and returned to work on this mod. It is not quite finished, as it will become a slightly larger mod. This is only version 1. Version 2 might come before I merge this into something slightly bigger eventually. The majority of the content in this mod is not mine at all. I merely combined a lot of pre-existing material from other authors to make this. That made it easier and definitely better, as my work would not be anywhere near as good, but I still worked really hard on this in all other ways. FOR BEST RESULTS: Play with maximum dismemberment. An autoexec.cfg is included with the necessary settings for this. It's the only way to do it in JA SP. Bugs: - Most are unavoidable unfortunately, but aren't really major. - The Droidekas use the emplaced gun effects, so when using a turret, it will sound like the Droideka gun sounds. - The plot still doesn't make sense, due to the main characters like Luke and Kyle still being involved. Obviously this doesn't make sense canonically and historically. The next version will fix this. There is no interference with Multiplayer as far as I can tell. I don't play it, so let me know if there are any issues. Future version: I hope to continue this project even further, replacing the main characters as best as I can, complete with voices to match the characters. My plan is to replace Luke with Mace Windu, Kyle with Obi-Wan, and Alora with Grievous. I might replace Tavion with Dooku, but I'm not sure yet. Other details will be revealed and discussed on JKHub. Credits: - Prophet and Major Clod for the Battledroid model. It's so old, yet it's the best model of a battledroid. Good times! - Movie Battles II team - TK231 for his effects (Blue blaster, droideka, etc) - Duncan_10158 for the Droideka and Hailfire - and whoever was the author of the SBD and it's skeleton/animations - the E-5 blaster - - Pahricida for the DC-15A rifle - Manquesa for the Jedi Starfighter model - Majin Revan/Hatrus for the Droid Starfighter/Vulture droid - Inyri for the Trifighter model - Minilogoguy18 for the ARC-170 star fighter - Mars Marshall for the Gunship, Magnaguard, Jango Fett, Clone trooper, and Zam rifle models - Kurtis 'KMan' Smith/Psyk0Sith for the Wat Tambor model - Wytchking/Wector for the Nute Gunray model - therfiles for his butt-saving help with scripting fixes and being helpful with suggestions and testing - Everyone at JKHub that is being helpful with suggestions and help with my endless thread making in the assistance forum Installation: Windows: Put the pk3 in your base folder found in Program Files/Lucasarts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/Gametdata/base/ Mac: Either in the app base folder (right click, show contents), or in user/library/containers/com.aspyr.jediacademy.appstore/data/library/application support/jedi academy/base The autoexec.cfg goes in the base folder as well.
