Thanks for posting this. I didn't consider not everyone may have the latest .NET runtime installed.
I have a few improvements I'm working on, once that is ready to upload here I can make an "all in one" build which has the runtime pieces inside the executable so you don't need to install it. I received some feedback from people with older PCs who weren't keen on installing the runtime (although it's not an upgrade, it sits side-by-side with older ones so shouldn't break anything). We tested the all-in-one build on Discord and it worked for them.
Hi there!
I only test my maps on the vanilla multiplayer game, since I only play the original game with no gameplay modifications.
Are you using any conversion mods like Movie Duels or Movie Battles II? I've known of the issue on those mods since the day my map got included on them. I've asked the developers why that was happening but never got an answer.
It is on the developers of those mods to fix it though, since I shared the source map file with them so they could have total freedom to adapt it and use it for anything.
If you are not using any mods let me know cause then it'd be my problem, though it'd be a rare issue, since it has worked well for me and everyone who helped test it on a base server with no game changing mods.
Edit (since Torki answered my reply on the forum post): As Torki pointed out in their reply, this issue is also caused by playing the map on singleplayer. These are known bugs that will not be addressed. Apologies.
Pretty nice , don't know if you still update the map but the portal that shows the Sith Alchemy altar is broken, and when you noclip into the chamber there is also no spooky blue flame. Aside from that the rest is cool af.
Great map.
It is massive and still have not explored it all. Some great climbing sections to play and although they can be quite fustrating are quite fun.
A few minor issues like some textures not showing on some of the lights I think but other than that it is fantastic.
First off love the three mountain sections.... more of that please! lol
Love that you don't really use clipping brushes much and that huge open area with the water is fun to jump around in. Also love its big enough to fly a tie-fighter in. Very good attention to detail with textures and kitchen design and creative use of in-game assets from ffa3 and other levels. Duel rooms are great and fun to duel in.
For a beta version its in great shape, only minor issues
Music works for me (using eternaljk)
Some of the lasers dont cause dmg, not sure if intended. (also not sure what one of the buttons in that room does)
Minor general mapping issues like a texture not aligned or small glitch with -vis
Top quality map IMO very fun.
This one would make a perfect version of some mutant Rodian created by Techno Union scientists, like in the Clone Wars episode of Tartakovsky series. Perhaps using a Wampa skeleton would make this guy look (and feel) slightly more comfortable?
