One thing I noticed was that there were no hilt packs on JKHub. There were a bunch on JK3Files, but none were uploaded here. I figured I should combine the best ones.
This mod's goal is to bring together the best lightsaber hilts that have been made for JK2 and JA and make them easily accessible in the SP menu and in the game in general. I take no credit for any of these models or skins, although I did tweak a couple of them a bit.

Omicron's JA+/JA++ Black Sabre Fix

This is a small fix I made for the JA+ and JA++ black lightsabre blade.
So what's the difference? Well, the black lightsabre will now have a black core and a white 'coloured' bit, which looks better imo. It also makes it easier to see the black sabre now, as it isn't all pitch black, which can help in fights and duels.
This will only in ja+/ja++.
To install, just put the pk3 into your 'japlus' folder, which can be found in your Gamedata folder.
And many thanks to KanGy from the (JAWA) clan for being an awesome beta tester, and for helping me try find any bugs with it.

My JKFiles contest entry. A simple hilt. I wanted to take a step away from the idea that "sith" means "red, black, spiky and angular". Don't know how well I succeeded. I know it doesn't look very sinister or anything, but I can see a Sith using something like this.

Glory Of The Snow

A hilt in the style of my earlier Twin Wolves mod, except this time the idea of the casing as an elaborate frame for the inner workings was taken even further. The results are evident. The file actually includes two versions of the hilt. One has the design of the casing on an alpha-mapped cylinder, whereas the other has the design modeled out. In-game, the only noticeable difference is that the high-poly hilt has better specular lighting.

Crappy Weapon Pack

A crappy weapon pack I made a while back. I personally think these weapons are all crap, but some other people seem to like some of them, so here they are!
Included are seven weapons, four of which were requests. Here's some basic info about each, from left to right in the file's screenshot:
The first was a personal saber, and one of the first weapons I've ever made for JKA. The second was a request for a very plain saber, hardly anything more than a tube. The third was another request for a sword-hilt-like saber, and one of my favorites from this pack. The fourth was my take on a request for a weird looking saber. Fifth is a sword that a friend requested. Sixth and seventh are just random weapons I created because I was bored. I tried to do something new and add scratch details to the weapons, but that turned out quite badly, IMO. Quite evil looking, though!

Darksaber

"The darksaber was an ancient lightsaber that was stolen by the Mandalorians during a collapse in power of the Galactic Republic. Unique among other lightsabers, the darksaber possessed a flat, black-colored blade that came to a sharp point much like a traditional vibrosword, rather than the rounded beam of more standard lightsabers. It had a uniquely black core surrounded by a white glow and gave off a higher pitched hum when active than more widespread lightsabers were known to make by the time of the Clone Wars."
If at all possible without killing your framerate, enable dynamic glow for this.

Resolute (Crystal Chamber Saber)

This is released as a separate file to the first because it changes a few cosmetic things (such as the grips being changed, and the chrome shader added, and the textures lightened)

Please Note: Make sure you remove resolute(crystalchamber).pk3, other wise you may have problems with duplicating backhand saber and I don't know what else

Shadow of the Colossus Sword Pack

Fan of Shadow of the Colossus? Great! These are my impressions of the attainable swords in Shadow of the Colossus, as you can tell they're not exact replicas. The originals aren't as unique, and for fun's sake had to be rescaled to match JKA models.
Future Updates:
Includes new sounds, effects (shader updates), and perhaps another weapon... (Javelin will be added as a staff if this does go through)
STATS:
Forbidden Sword: slightly shorter than the average lightsaber, uses Tavion's deadly style of attack to make up.
Sword of the Sun: length of the average lightsaber blade, it is the intermediate of the three swords.
Queen's Sword: has a longer reach than most lightsabers, just by a hair.
Other than what is described above, none of the swords deal out exuberant amounts of damage nor strange/unusual punishment.

Broken staff sabers for SP
Installing this file will in a sense patch the game so that in single player when you cut a enemys staff in half (yes it works, it's rare and only works in SP) they will weild 2 halves of the staff model they used and weild them in the dual saber style. These models are selectable in the MP menu if for whatever reason you want to use them that way, they just have simple names relating to their staff counterpart.
This was a simple mod I made in my free time taking a mere hour to simply import all the staffs, delete half of them and export, the .sab file to make them work was already included in the assets.
To install this mod just unzip the broken sabers.pk3 file into your /Lucas Arts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/GameData/base/ folder.

Jedi Knight Logo Saber

This mod adds 3 saber hilts:
1) Normal version, the JK logo as a saber hilt.
2) Long version, the "blades"of the hilt stretch along the length of the saber beam.
3) Sword version, same as the Long version except the blade is invisible, makes no swoosh sounds and bounces off walls when it hits them.

This is supposed to look like Darth Nihl's lightsaber from the Legacy comics, I have wanted to make it for a while now, so when I saw the JK3Files November sith saber modeling contest, I decided now was a good time to start. I also included an alpha of the my new saber blades that I'm working on for RotS, and another pk3 for SP support.
There are three different pk3s included:

The model itself, you can use it in Multiplayer, or you can type in: "saber nihl" in single player

Savage Opress hilt

Well, y'see, it's the saber hilt of Dooku's/Ventress' apprentice. This Zabrak guy called Savage Opress (really, can you have a more stereotypically evil name?). Took up a request a long time ago, it's been kicking around on my hard drive since then. No new sounds, just the plain old hilt.
Which is exquisitely made, if I do say so myself. It's an excellent piece of lightsabery goodness. The modeling and texturing are amazing, the whole think oozes an aura of perfection like no other hilt. Face it, you can't resist it. You know you want it.
Also, say "Ventress' apprentice" five times really fast.

Holocron Challenges
Of course, I always using OpenJK if the mod requires it. There are practically no other mods in the base game folder. Only retextures of standard models were installed. For the experiment, I removed all mods. The mod was launched via a bat file that was in the folder with the mod. Perhaps I didn't express myself correctly. I wanted to see more choice of clothing for the characters. For example, Obi-Wan has an outfit from episode 1 and the Kenobi series. Vader only has the costume from episode 3, and the alternative is Anakin from the Ahsoka series. Seeing a huge list of authors from whom permission was obtained. I said earlier that this may be due to obtaining permission from other authors. Therefore, I proposed an extreme option for customization through basic character selection. The player will be able to customize the model for himself and does not need to look for options for obtaining permission for the model. On the maps Mustafar and Russan, due to the large number of characters, textures disappear and FPS sag. I'm attaching a few screenshots. -

Holocron Challenges
This mod is absolutely AMAZING!!! I love the design and attention to detail with the maps and the love that has been put into it. If there was an update to this in either the future or possibly May the 4th it would be nice to see more maps and characters come to this masterpiece. Lothal, Fortress Vader, the Death Star, Sulon, Dantooine, Yavin 4, Mandalore, Krownest, Kashyyyk, Coruscant, Mount Tantiss, Scarif's Citadel Tower, Byss, Hoth, Manaan, and the Jedi Temple/Imperial Palace would be nice additions as Ladders. Lothal's Capital City, the Wren Stronghold, and the Jedi Enclave would definitely be a sight to see. 10/10 -

Here it is, my third map for jedi Academy May I present the Tomb of Aviskus Like the last two this map was based around an original idea. It was featured in the Now completed Sw fanfic that I wrote, which i am certain many of you have seen on the JKEMPIRE discord Overall background: This is the main chamber of the Tomb of Darth Aviskus, a powerful sith lord who continued the war against the old republic in the aftermath of Darth Ruin's death. However, he was defeated in battle by Renald Vren, the youngest jedi grandmaster in recorded history. After his death his body was brought here to rest, by his followers, whereupon the completion of the tomb, the spirit of the Dark Lord commanded that his surviving followers perform a ritual of immense power, which resulted in the deaths of most of his followers, and it also ensured that his spirit would retain the power that he once had in life. And so here his spirit waits for one powerful enough to reach his sarcophagus so that he may possess them..... Will you be Strong enough to resist the spirit of the Sith Lord??!?!? Or will you fall victim to his power like so many before? I'll admit this was intended to be released sometime in January but life got harder for me, but its here now!! Of all the maps i've made this is the one that I fully intended for use in multiplayer, mainly due to its size and scale Now you too can play this map in MP, you can yeet your opponents into the lava pit or fight on the stairs or if you are crazy like me you'll spawn an army there in SP. Installation: place the PK3 into your gamedata base folder For MD and SWGL users, just place it in the respective SWGL/ MD folders and it should work fine. Enjoy!!!! -

Holocron Challenges
So, I have been playing JKA ever since it came out. I have seen a ton of mods come and a ton of mods go. I have seen SP mods, I have seen MP mods, I have seen attempts at reinventing the wheel. Never thus far, however, have I seen a labor of love such as this one and (with no offense meant at all towards anyone else) from a person with such aesthetic quality. From the very menu of the mod, to the entire UI, to the Intuitiveness of selecting a character to play as (including variants for them), to the roguelike gameplay that no one knew how much we both wanted and needed, this mod is something that truly makes JKA replayable infinitely. It's also quite magical how the creations of almost every single being in JKhub has coalesced into this gem, making it not only one of the most (if not -the- most) enjoyable mod to have been spawned for the game but also sort of a history book of JKhub past, present and future. Just beautiful. ~S -

Holocron Challenges
Thanks for this, I've taken a look at Mustafar and there was a miscount on one of the waves towards the end leading to the next wave being spawned earlier than it should which I've fixed now and it will be in the next update. I haven't been able to replicate the freezing or missing textures on later rounds though, are you using OpenJK to play the mod? There are issues in the base version of the game which is why I made OpenJK a requirement. I'll look at adding something extra to arenas for clearing all the rooms. I wanted to try to make the characters different to play which is why they have different force powers, it does make some of them harder to play than others but I think it also gives people a bit more of a challenge if that's what they're looking for. I'll look at adding heal/drain to some more characters though to give people more chances to regen their health but I did set up the ladders so you get healed after each boss encounter and after each arena in arenas. Customising characters isn't something I'm going to add though. I want to do everything through the hub map and adding customisable characters would mean too many permutations and it would be a bit of a headache to script, it was bad enough just trying to get these to work as is! -
