    Installation Instructions:
     
    Included along with this file should be a "Alderaan.pk3" file. Place the pk3 in the Base folder of your Jedi Academy directory.
     
    About the mod:
     
    This is a map that I built for Ramikad as a part of the 2016 JKHub Secret Santa event!
     
    Among the list of gift suggestions was a map of Alderaan, which I thought would be a bit too elaborate to make in the time-frame that I had, so I played a little bit of a joke with it instead: The map is very minimal, taking place on Alderaan's remains following the events of A New Hope.
     
    Enjoy! ^.^
     
    If anyone encounters any genuine, serious bugs, let me know and I'll update it!

    So, I swore I'd never do another Country Roads themed map. I know as well as anyone that it's become a tired theme. But here I am, releasing one. I guess I like the silliness involved with having saber battles on a farm. This is like... for sure the last Country Roads map for JK2/JKA. I hope you enjoy, ya hear?

    -> Installation:
     
    In order to install the map into your game you must:
    Extract the folder then put the AoS.pk3 file in your Jedi Academy "gamedata/base" folder.
     
     
    -> Information:
     
    I made a map for AoS a year ago, but I had some problems because of bad performance (newbie mistakes broke the map entirely, fps dropped to 20 in a lot of areas). That's why I decided to remake it and here it is, finally.
    So this is my first finished map, it is an academy I made for my last clan. However you are welcome to use it on your servers. It's highly inspired by Academy 1.2 map.
    This map contains a lot of rooms:
     
    -2 Duel rooms (one is bigger, for tournament purposes)
    -Medic
    -Council
    -Bar (with security system)
    -Npc room
    -Garden
    -Prison (with security system)
    -Bathrooms
    -Classroom (RIP sauna)
    -Admin rooms
    -Generic padawan rooms
    -Hidden valley of the jedi
    -Admin control room (you can now change the sky from there!)
     
    I included bot support, it's a very simple bot route (we all hate those kangaroo bots).
    It also contais a lot of secrets that should not be easy to find (room locks, some extra secret places...). It does include custom shaders and textures, models, botroutes and a few sounds.
    There are a lot of custom textures, if you see some textures on the map you might want to use, you DO have my permission to do so, as long as I recieve some sort of credit.
     
    -> Known bugs:
     
    The mirrors in my map (or cameras) might make a Hall of Mirror if you look at them from the sides but it should be fine if you look at them directly (also, players might not appear on these cameras, only their shadow).
    Trees in the garden may glitch, leaving only a few leaves depending on the angle you look at them.
    Depending on your cfg, the map might cast strange lights, such as purple lights in some corners or other places (with a default cfg I did not get strange lights. However, I did get some purple lights using my modified cfg).
     
    If you find any bug that is not listed there, do not hesitate to contact me. Constructive feedback is very welcome.

  4. Hexes Ghetto JK3

    Hexes Ghetto JK3 V2
    This is a FIXED version, if you had played this map from jk3files.com that was version with several bugs. I this version all those bugs was fixed.
     
    About this map:
    It's a large city map with several building you can get it and a lot of nice dueling places.
     
    I think this good map for:
    Role Playing (I think this map mostly was used on RP servers)
    Dueling (Has several very nice dueling spaces/arena, some of them isn't so easy to find)
    Snipers fight (You can get on most of the buidling, perfect for sniping) (some buildings has secret teleports to get on it)
    Training vs NPC (You can find 2 spaces where you can spawn enemy or friendly npc)
    And for sure HAVING FUN! (A lot secret places, and places to explore)
     
    About secrets:
    First try to find a maze and then move on hint (Ghetto or Garden)

  5. Boba Fett's Hideout

    I wanted to do some kind of desing using patch meshes and cylinders and I came up with the idea of some kind of listening post which turned out as a Huge dish, I had this idea that Boba Fett may have some little stop off points here and ther around the galaxy, so came up with the idea of this being a hideout where the bounty hunter, would stop and dump cargo and the like.
     
    The map itself started life as the next version of the Universal Trials/Training map that I did for the clan UNIVERSAL, some of you may recognise the garden area of the map as it is basically what is left of the Universal Trianing map. However I still devote this map to the Clan Universal...
     
    The music included in the pk3 file is from the movie The Rock by MR Zimmer awsome...

  6. Sirens Enclave

    Sirens Enclave is a fictional place I thought up after being inspired by the story of the greek sirens, and my previous map Zoras Domain which was inspired by the Zelda N64 version of Zoras Domain. I base this map in a fictional story where you the player are a sailor who was part of a crew that was lured to an island of Anthemoessa by a song which was mesmerizing. The ship strikes a reef and starts to sink. You make your way to the nearest cover to avoid the man eating birds, and find yourself in a cave that appears to be their domain. The birds feed on the crew but you manage to make it to the cave, and now this is where you must make your escape.
     
    I actually wasn't going to release this map, but was finally talked into it. Please respect my work and perhaps I'll release another creations I've been working on.

    I ask those who download this map to respect my work and do not decompile it, tamper with it, or host it anywhere without permission from me directly. I share this map so other gamers can check it out and have some fun playing it. I do not release it for people to tamper and take it apart to steal features or so forth.     Story
    On a voyage into the unknown, enchanting music mesmerizes the ship's crew and guides them off course. Suddenly there is a loud crash as the starboard hits a reef. The loud noise wakes up the crew out of their trance and they find themselves near the rocky coast of Anthemoessa. While most of the crew fell overboard, or were taken away by man-eating Sirens, you managed to guide the boat before it sank to a nearby cave away from all the demon birds who are feasting on the rest of the crew. Welcome to the Siren's Enclave.

  7. Chandrila Halloween

    This is a Halloween-themed version of FFA4, the Rift Sanctuary map on Chandrila! It's got a completely different feel to it, with torchlight and fiery reds, oranges, and yellows everywhere! Decorations include strings of lights, bowls of Halloween goodies, posters for classic horror movies, and an office for your favourite witch!
     
    As you venture outside, lightning streaks from dark clouds high overhead, and a sliver of moon appears if you know just where to look! Are those wolves? Duck inside the cavernous crystal room... wait, what's that sound? Whirling winds and a pulsing, eerie glow from the depths... what are those bars there to keep in? Is that a coffin? No! Something's trying to get out!
     
    There are a few little secrets here and there, including a music room where you can change the background music to suit your mood. If you can find it, that is!
     
    High in the air there's a blood-curdling scream... *faints*

  8. c-mountain

    This map works for both jk3 and jk2. This is another of my mountain maps. It is a sequel to A-mountain and B-Mountain. One of the problems I noticed while watching people race a-mountain is they were fighting over 2-3 seconds once they learned it. This mountain should be harder and longer and hopefully solve that problem should people choose to race it.
     
    My climbing mountains are loosely inspired by the work of Boris from quake defrag.

    - I know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Ebon Hawk interior, and the answer is simple, but somewhat hard to explain:
    When you are inside the Ebon Hawk in KotOR, it's MUCH bigger than it is when you're outside. And so, making those two pieces fit
    would be practically impossible. This be also the reason why I didn't make the loading ramp leading to the Hawk's interior, in
    case anyone wanted to know.
     
    - I also know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Dantooine plains while I was at it, and there are several reasons:
    It would be extremely hard to make it look alright, considering the shape of the "hills" that are out there. If I for some
    reason should be able to make it, the map would be too big, or, I would have to place "invisible walls" everywhere, to limit the
    area. And if there are things I really hate in a map, it's "invisible walls".
     
    - Additionally, if anyone's going to ask why the skybox is so easy to hit, that would be because the structure of the original map
    itself did not open up for alot of bunny-jumping. It would just mess up alot, and sometimes allowing the jumping player to see
    over the walls and into the rooms beyond it, which I do not want to happen - but it is regretable anyway.
     
    And so, as those three questions above has been answered here in the read-me, I will not be answering them later on, so don't ask.

    Asteroid H5 is the 5th map in the HGC Hangout series. Past maps have taught me lessons and I've capitalized on those lessons when making this new map. I decided to go with an asteroid in an asteroid field this time around because I felt it gave the map some class. Past maps were just random fun and games. This time it's more serious. I had some inspiration from the asteroid Lumiya occupied in space in the Legacy of the Force book series. This map includes many features like secret areas, the mission, and more. It gives you something to do if no one is playing the map with you. I hope everyone enjoys the map and if anyone has questions or need hints/help you may contact me by the email address below.

    There are several secrets in this map. The well of doom the most obvious and difficult of them. There are also some traps. The mission leads you to most of the secrets but not all.
     
    WARNING: Do not go past the artificial environment emitters without being in a tie-fighter, or you will be exposed to space!
     
    Bugs: Since map allows you to go everywhere, not everything is perfect. I feel the minor problems are acceptable though and feel it's ready to share.

    BACKSTORY
    ==========
    -Prologue-
    Your TIE-fighter comes out of hyperspace and approaches the asteroid field. The engines moan as they cease operation.
     
     
     
    You have been formally invited and given the exact location of the asteroid to complete your mission, but you remain cautious, for the asteroid feels surrounded in the dark side of the force...
     
     
     
    You read all available data before landing and reporting to the council area.
     
     
    -Database Record-
    Asteroid H5 is located in the Thoridian sector near the Thordor asteroid field. Exact location of the asteroid changes constantly and is unknown at this time. HGC operatives have occupied the region for centuries and H5 is their likely base of operations. It is recommended to stay clear unless formally invited. Asteroid H5 has great abundances of water and several different kinds of rock. Continuous simulated atmospheric conditions have melted the water deposits and formed a landscape of great wonder with creatures attracted to its power and hospitable enclaves.

    MISSION
    ========
    Infiltrate the asteroid, and do the following:
    Find the Sith which taint the asteroid and defeat their leader Desann.
    Find the Twin Eye artifacts that will give you powers only one could dream of.
    Find RoboMan and sign out a shuttle to transport the artifacts back to Coruscant.
    All these must be done or your mission will be incomplete!
    Once complete, mission accomplished!

Used a lot of patches/curves in this map ( i was having playing around with those lol) This map also includes a council room, hospital, meeting room meditation room, small dojo, big dojo, bar, big halls, airport/hangar and more. Also some secret places such as a secret training center, secret sith lair, secret hangar and another secret room.

    This is a VERY old map of mine so please dont laugh XD LOL!
     
     
    Origanally it was ment to be a small duel map based of a fight sequence im my latest book Knights of the old republic the sith hier.
    But it eventually evolved into creating a larger peace of the world, while some of the archetecture is roman like the map its self is set in a some what more humid climate.
    this map took about 2 weeks to biuld from concept art to finish product.
    the name was a combo of the 2 thing's inspiring it arevass and my brother aeraness together they made arrevanous i threw the 7 in just for the heck of it =D.

  13. Yavin Temple Trial

    This map was inspired by the Trial map used in Jedi Outcast, without the things like running over a bridge or along a corridor, or standing on a pillar to open a door, etc.
     
    I've included the Source file so people can modify it, so long as I'm given credit, or should they wish to improve upon it so I can upload an updated/improved version (giving them credit for improvements). I took some textures from Jedi Outcast for the Telekinesis Switches because they weren't in the Academy base files.
     
    The map isn't overly big, as it is designed to test students who are learning, the target group being Roleplay communities, thus the following abilities are required to complete the map:
     
    Jump 1
    Push 1
    Pull 1
     
    No external NPC's were used, only Stormtroopers, Sentries and Reborns designed to test say a child of 10-13's abilities.
     
    A big thanks to @MagSul for talking me through certain parts when I was confused and to @JungAk for testing it.

  14. The Temple of Solstice

    I'm really proud of this map. The main problem is some people may have low frame rate. Especially on older computers. But I was not able to optimise it any better. Actually the optimisation of the map has been done by Kobra, and it still runs a lot smoother than after I tried to optimise it.
     
    The map features plenty of nice places for a duel and is quite visually appealing. There's a good variety of areas: The garden, the temple, huge flat platform in the middle of space where you can get through a teleport, a duel arena made of 4 bridges to which you also get through teleport, a nice arena in the garden with seats all around it. There are even catacombs, and I was thinking of some clan events that may possibly use such setting. I don't like to talk a lot about my work, so you should just download the map and see for yourself if you'll like it or not. Make sure to read ReadMe.txt.

  15. The TARDIS FFA - Alternative Version

    So i decided to make an alternative version of my tardis interior map. The first one's floorplan looked like a common spaceship floorplan.
    Now i think it was wrong so i've made a completely diffirent one. Also i added several rooms like swimming pool, library,
    cafeteria and the heart. However, most rooms are the same. Enjoy!

  16. Exiled Castle

    Description: Exiled Castle is a FFA map which contains an entire castle with a lot of rooms and secrets rooms...
     
    The map is composed by a huge tower which allow you to enter a lot of rooms.
     
     
    The Exiled Castle is an old abandonned Castle which was the Domain of an ancient Cast of Warriors, the Exiled. It is a very dark temple with a lot of secrets and Force. It is also a sort of home.
     
    - Ground Floor: This is the way to the exterrior.
     
    - 1st Floor: This is the command center.
     
    - 2nd Floor: This place is dedicated to the Water Element.
     
    - 3rd Floor: This is a little dark kitchen with a fridge and an oven.
     
    - 4th Floor: This place is dedicated to the Stone Element.
     
    - 5th Floor: This is the ceremonial hall with a huge table and a lot of chairs.
     
    - 6th Floor: Trainings rooms are at this floor. 4 Trainings Rooms: One for little fights, one for big fights, one for two fights,
    and one for difficult fights. There also is a council chamber.
     
    - 7th Floor: BedRooms.
     
    - 8th Floor: This is the Bar.
     
    - 9th Floor: This place is dedicated to the Fire Element.
     
    - 10th Floor: This is the portraits room.
     
    - 11th Floor: This place is dedicated to the Air Element.
     
    - 12th Floor: HAHA!
     
     
    And for sure, there is more than 10 secrets rooms to find. I love this map for specials gametypes, like Hide-&-kill.
     
     
    BUGS: Yes, there are textures bugs, especially on the corridors, however I don't know why, but I decided to keep them. They
    give this map a strange and unrealistic aspect I love. There are also bugs I didn't notice I think of course... By the way,
    Have Fun on my map !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Byss Outpost is a multi-themed FFA/TFFA map for Jedi Academy. The main portion of the map is a Byss themed space station. This portion of the map contains bot routing. Going downstairs via elevator leads you to 4 teleporters linked to different themed arenas. The included arenas are:
     
    Bespin duel arena
    Desert rancor arena
    Yavin duel arena
    Hoth tauntaun joust arena
     
    Supported gametypes: FFA, TFFA
    Bot routing: yes
     
    Note: All textures in this map are base JA. If you experience missing textures, you have either deleted textures in your base folder, or downloaded maps containing custom textures that overwrite base JA textures.

  18. Serenity - Firefly

    From the TV-series 'FireFly' and the 2005 film of the same name. A planet, complete with orbiting asteroids are also featured.
     
    Aplogies for the large .zip file size; the .bsp turned out to be bigger than expected. The
    size of the planet's textures, shaders and .ase file didn't help much either. I figure if
    you're a big enough fan of the series/film, you'll spare the extra bandwidth anyway.
     
    Hard-core fans will realise that some areas seen in the tv-series and film is missing:
    (the crew and passenger quarters). This wasn't intentional, I found the online blueprint
    and scale model replica late into the process, I was working with movie stills up until
    then and consequently had to make some compromises.
     
    Also note that some areas of the ship are hard to get around, (mainly because it's a trade
    freighter rather than a luxury cruiser, giving me less room to work with.) Try walking
    (rather than running) through the doors/small passageways; that way, you'll get stuck less
    often. I have included bot-support but don't be suprised if they get stuck too, they aren't as clever as we all wish them to be.
     
    This map has been tested on a Pentium 4 with 2.99 GHZ, 1.50GB of RAM and a NVIDIA FX5200
    128MB GFX Card, and another Pentium 4 with significantly lower specs. Due to the high-poly
    nature of the map, I recommend using a PC with similar or higher specs to avoid lag
    spikes. I have included the source .map file if it is of any use to anybody. You may copy any parts of the map as long as you credit me somewhere in the readme and ask permission
    first. (For email addresses see the footnote.)
     
    Secrets
    There are two secrets in the map; both accessible from the cargo bay. If you are having
    trouble finding them, load up the .map file in the 'source' folder of the .pk3.
     
    Bugs
    If you look at 90' away from the planet (but with the planet still in view) the
    outer-planetary glow shader appears to go through the planet.
     
    Once in the medical bay looking back at the (open) entrance doors, they seem to go through
    the medical bay door-frame. Arg!

    The music was composed by David Newman and produced in the Serenity (2005) Official
    Soundtrack Compact Disc. I claim no ownership to these files; all credit goes to original
    authors.
     
    Most of the custom textures and shaders have been written or created by myself. A few

  19. Taris Cantina

    This is just a very small map I made back in 2011. I've always loved the maps and atmosphere of the Knights of the Old Republic game, and especially I liked Taris.
    Though there are quite many maps out there from KotOR, I think there can't be enough So I wanted to bring you the little Taris Cantina, that is found in the Upper City.
     
    There ain't very much to say about it, in the middle of the map is the largest room, and from that you can reach 4 other smaller rooms, for playing Pazaak, dancing, drinking and fighting. I used the original music from KotOR and there are a few new textures and shaders made by myself. Besides that I worked with Inyris great KotOR objects (link is in the readme).

  20. FFA Hyperblast by Langerd

    This is Tribute to the one of my favuorite Death match maps of all time - DM Hyperblast from Unreal Tournament 1999
     
    The only thing i didnt made on my own.. is the concept of the map and the music.. All rights for Epic Games for that and big thanks for doing all of this.
     
    If you want use this map for your modification just send me a message and wrote in read me that it is made by me ^^
     
    Names of the maps:
     
    The mp version: Devmap Hyp_mp
     
    The sp version (It is like original one. Inside the ship there is normal gravity but outside it is lower so You can fight and play with everything ) : Devmap Hyperblast
     
    I played with the bots to check the map. I made a bot that You can delete if You want (to do that remove botfiles from the pk3).
    He is called : weapon stormtrooper. He is picking weapons and use them more often than the others (slightly but still).
     
    I recommend changing the options on your map like this:
     
    -g_speed 320 - all players will be faster
    -broadsword 1 - Jk3 ragdoll physics
    -g_knockback 3200 - Knockback in multiplayer is rly low in my opinion.. Making it higher is better to getting Your enemies off the edges of the ship
    -g_gravity - This option just simply change the gravity.. If You know the original map You know that gravity in this level was diffrent depends if You were inside or outside of the ship. Sadly i couldnt do it for MP version.. But You can sill change the gravity to play around

    Dexter's Diner. This is one of the first maps that I have created that I feel is worth posting on the net, It didnt take a great amount of time maybe a week on and off and have not really thought too much about weapon placement, The sky box is one I made for another map, which is based on padme's coruscant home as seen in EII. I hope you enjoy it.

  22. Coruscant Speedway

    This map is an idea that I have been playing with for a long time, and I am pleased to be able to fialy release it! The map consists of respawnable swoop bikes with optional sound effects (pk3 included) a large race track with a few surprises on the way I have kept the weapons to a minimum in an attempt to courage the use of swoop rather than getting tied down to a ffa, although its still fun to do so.
     
    There are various new sound effects to give the map the impression of a large city and I have used clipits of sound from EI pod race scene and the PS2 pod racer game (all credit were its due) Also near the start line there is a special spectator service with transporters to key places around the map for come realistic spectating, and there is a start line computer up on the walkway. I hope you enjoy this map, if the music is gets on your nerves, I am deeply sorry !!

  24. Jedi's Home III - Temple Edition

    Jedi's Home III (3) is a continuation of a community favorite map series "Jedi's Home 1 & 2". In my earliest JKA days I remember these maps as many of us do. A lot of mixed memories but most of all I remember the many communities that used those maps, the hours they spent hunting the secrets! I wanted to bring that back, to capture it in all of its glory and then maximize it with what JKA can handle. To bring all of that back and then expand on it just enough to hint at some thing bigger to come; above all I wanted you all to come back together the way we all once were. 
    I hope this map helps you make new memories with your JKA families and friends. 

    Now on a technical side this map is insane! Not to toot my own horn but wow! This was 7 years of work. A lot of it spent hard core dedicated to it, other times personal life came into play. I made sure to include many of the classic Jh1/2 Secrets and to expand even more by adding new one's and "Easter Egg" hunts. This map was a huge group effort in many ways, from bug testing, various models, input and guidance, testing servers, Guinea pigs,  and just down right random helpers. From day one it has been a community effort! 

    Known bugs -  some times when not using the reflection plug in some spots under certain lighting conditions can look strange here and there. (Just a few spots).  
    This map is huge, as such it can take a bit to load, don't freak out. These and many other issues will be fixed in the Jedi's Home 3.5 update coming next December.

    A special shout out to  the following. 

    AshuraDx -  This guy is really awesome, he's really into perspective and illusions -  So you can thank him for the creepy Palpatine painting and Ackbar!!!
    Anoek - What can I say, if there is a heart in this map it was her. I'm sorry about what happened. I left your stuff just as you asked.

    Helena of Clan Jawa - I swear this woman drove me nuts for so long about the angle of the stairs in the archives it drove me to totally rebuild the stairs all together! In other words ❤️ thank you for all your support and techy help as well as the inspiration for the furtniture. (Sadly due to texture limitations I wasn't able to use any of your models) I did rebuild a likeness of your chair for this in .map for what I needed.) Any who point is she is the grandma of this map!!! 
    You got a place in the senate hall check it out!!!
    Robert - I based the main room of the Sith base on a map he built long ago though his heart was in it he never got to release that map. Well I loved it soo much and remembered how hard her worked for the look I decided to rebuild it and put it in this map. She's immortal now Robert. 😛 All Wings Report In!
    If you ever get the itch to dled this and try it. Be sure to take a good look at the table you start at in df2. (Remember the cut scene before it - It deals with fathers.)
    Shadow Stone - You started the entire series and launched a legend! I hope this brings the community together the way your first 2 did!
    Ruxith - For all the beautiful chrome statues you see through the building and of course my beloved crowbar! 
    To so many others, thank you. This map has been a community affort! I hope it paves the way to bringing us all back together! To the future!
