  1. Cloud City

A cut down version of cloud city... with a brand new texture set and some locations from the movie..
it includes a few new features that i havnt seen in many maps.. which would be the lift doors rotate around like the ones in the movie
if i was to critisise my own work id say the lifts might get a revamp in another version and make the lift shafts wider
ive also tried to give the map a few ways to go so its easy to lose people
but if you really want fun.. try to find the duel room and get a friend to activate the buttons while 2 people fight in the centre

  2. SJC The Palace of Jabba the Hutt - Map Pack (Daytime - Sunset)

Jabba the Hutt Temple mappack contains two versions day and night. This map can be taken as a teaser for JKG although it will appear very different once the team there have had a play with the .map file, however since I have left the dev team I thought I would release the maps to the BASE JKA playing community, I hope you like it, much work went into it, there are some issues, like unclipped models (SWG esq lol) and some sparklies and no doubt someone somewhere will find a way to fall out of the map.. but hey its a SJC map it wouldnt be complete without the odd stupid error.

  6. Tatooine Spaceport FFA (Remake)

The original FFA3 map, Tatooine Streets, didn't really feel like a Star Wars location to me. It's layout was popular, and certainly as the only bright FFA map it was a nice change of tone from the dismal Vjun Sentinal, Taspir, Korriban, and Rift maps, but I felt it really needed a visual makeover.

I kept most of the layout intact with the exception of the room which overlooked the landing zone, which contained the disruptor rifle. I left that room out and instead opened the huge door in the hangar. I also removed the annoying X-wing which just got in everyone's way. ;D

The map originally featured in JKG: Versus as the second official new map. It has since been expanded into an entire city map, forming just a small part of a large and expansive layout which you can experience fully in JKG.

  7. Alzoc 3 Capital

A group of skyscrapers in the mountains of Alzoc 3. Flying verhicles and floating ad pods lend a futuristic atmosphere to the map. The FPS is very bad, but that cannot be avoided with such a large map where many rooms have large windows from which one can see almost the entire map.

This is the end product of a long chain of maps that stretches all the way back to Jedi Outcast. The first was ffa_coruscant and the first JA update was called ffa_corellia. This, the third and final update is set in the capital city of Alzoc 3. Cannonicity was not a concern of mine while making this map so if this is not how Alzoc 3 is "supposed to look," deal with it.

  9. The (JAWA) Temple

This is the long-awaited (JAWA) Clan map, although anybody is welcome to use and install it on their server. It began as a speeder bike track, with other areas located within the area enclosed by the track. It now features a council building, with a council room, lounge, and waiting areas; two arenas for dueling and training; a target range; some parks for gathering in; a couple of shrines; some secret areas; and of course the private council member apartments!

This map supports FFA, TFFA, Duel, and Power Duel. Because the map is very large, some players may have poor FPS, but I have tried to compensate for that using areaportals and hint brushes. Most of the areas where NPC's can be spawned are lockable from the inside, including the track control room and all council member apartments.

  10. Horizons of Taris

The Upper City of Taris at sunset, inspired by both the concepts for Taris as well as the game itself. Initially Darth Norman and I decided to compete mainly against eachother in friendly competition, as we are both MBII devs, though due to time restraints Norman had to sadly drop out . Ahh well, here is mine anyway.

In the future, there might be some bug fixes to the map itself release which will include a Night version of the map as well since I did not have time to complete that for this contest (Due to compile times). This will also be expanded much farther into what you will see in the JKG mods version of the map. Including the lower portions of the city, and many places to explore maybe beyond the city itself.

    Features
This map features a bombardment system to add another level of gameplay as well as a visual element to symbalise what happened to Taris itself. The bombardment happens every 7 minutes, lasting for about 1 minute at a time. During which your FPS might decrease a little due to EFX usage, but it should not cripple anything. If you do not want this feature activated, there are some panels in one of the interior buildings (To the left when facing the landing pad/ship) that allow you to activate and deactivate the bombardment. Keep in mind while playing though, these things do damage! City ambience and computer noise ambience when near terminals for greater immersion Flyovers by Sith Fighters Curved map boundaries to prevent getting stuck when using jetpacks or w/e when using cheats.

    Doc Ock Style fusion generator
Passcoded council/admin doors (using switches where a numerical value can be inputted)
    Destructable environments, trees/lamps.e.t.c
You can then fix some of these using toolkits (televisions for example) and other items you can pick up.
You can collect credits to pay for access to certain areas by either finding them lying around or completing challenges.
Virtual reality training for sneaking as a challenge.
    Elevators with selectable floors.
Interactive NPC's that walk around and speak to each other.
Lots of cupboards/doors openable by force powers

    ATLANTICA_RPG
    ==============
This map is the RPG version of the map, which doesn't have any interactive NPC's to reduce server load and stress, but contains extra scripting. This map contains the keycard system as well as the toolbox repair system and the credits system. So, if you want to play with these features, load this map!

    ATLANTICA
    =========
This map is the core(basic) map which does contain interactive NPC's but none of the advanced scripting found in the RPG version. This is for players who desire a more FFA-themed experience, or clans who do not wish to play with the RPG features because they have their own mods which they can use instead.

That map is the improved version of Stardestroyer. Design has changed a bit, new rooms were added and there now some other additional features.

Be careful when closing/opening the Hangar protection door! Push the button for opening/closing ONLY if it is 100% closed or opened, or it might not work anymore. In that case you have to restart the map.

  14. Jedi's Home III - Temple Edition

Jedi's Home III (3) is a continuation of a community favorite map series "Jedi's Home 1 & 2". In my earliest JKA days I remember these maps as many of us do. A lot of mixed memories but most of all I remember the many communities that used those maps, the hours they spent hunting the secrets! I wanted to bring that back, to capture it in all of its glory and then maximize it with what JKA can handle. To bring all of that back and then expand on it just enough to hint at some thing bigger to come; above all I wanted you all to come back together the way we all once were.
I hope this map helps you make new memories with your JKA families and friends.

Now on a technical side this map is insane! Not to toot my own horn but wow! This was 7 years of work. A lot of it spent hard core dedicated to it, other times personal life came into play. I made sure to include many of the classic Jh1/2 Secrets and to expand even more by adding new one's and "Easter Egg" hunts. This map was a huge group effort in many ways, from bug testing, various models, input and guidance, testing servers, Guinea pigs,  and just down right random helpers. From day one it has been a community effort!

Known bugs -  some times when not using the reflection plug in some spots under certain lighting conditions can look strange here and there. (Just a few spots).
This map is huge, as such it can take a bit to load, don't freak out. These and many other issues will be fixed in the Jedi's Home 3.5 update coming next December.

A special shout out to  the following.

AshuraDx -  This guy is really awesome, he's really into perspective and illusions -  So you can thank him for the creepy Palpatine painting and Ackbar!!!
Anoek - What can I say, if there is a heart in this map it was her. I'm sorry about what happened. I left your stuff just as you asked.
    Thank you for every thing.
Helena of Clan Jawa - I swear this woman drove me nuts for so long about the angle of the stairs in the archives it drove me to totally rebuild the stairs all together! In other words ❤️ thank you for all your support and techy help as well as the inspiration for the furtniture. (Sadly due to texture limitations I wasn't able to use any of your models) I did rebuild a likeness of your chair for this in .map for what I needed.) Any who point is she is the grandma of this map!!!
You got a place in the senate hall check it out!!!
Robert - I based the main room of the Sith base on a map he built long ago though his heart was in it he never got to release that map. Well I loved it soo much and remembered how hard her worked for the look I decided to rebuild it and put it in this map. She's immortal now Robert. 😛 All Wings Report In!
If you ever get the itch to dled this and try it. Be sure to take a good look at the table you start at in df2. (Remember the cut scene before it - It deals with fathers.)
Shadow Stone - You started the entire series and launched a legend! I hope this brings the community together the way your first 2 did!
Ruxith - For all the beautiful chrome statues you see through the building and of course my beloved crowbar!
To so many others, thank you. This map has been a community affort! I hope it paves the way to bringing us all back together! To the future!
Jkhub - for hosting the file and Mr Wonko who we all know will grab this just like everything for safe keeping. Ty mate we ❤️ your service!

  15. Boonta Eve Tatooine Pod Race JKR Speedway

    Shoot the doors to open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad that i finaly have the first version of this map complete - i will start by saying that there are several things
That need to be sorted out, i would have liked a higher fps on the start line section, which is the part where
The fps drops to its lowest - due to the size and scape of that particular part, however most of the course delivers a playable
Fps rate so thats not too bad.

As many of you will know - this is a map that has been done mostly for jedimoves.com
    - and infact i have spoken to javier there in depth about
The map - jediomoves have suplied my with screenshots and some plans which i have roughly
Based the map on so thanks to them.

This is really a tester version for a final release which will include pod racer models by duncan, so i look forward to that.

Anyway i hope you enjoy this, and here are some stupid fact about the map:
To walk around the entire course without using force speed takes around ten mins (that just shows how large this is)
It take about 2 mins to go around the course on the speeders (using boost now and then)
The speeders that are included are speeders that i have modified, i have increased the speed, boost, and armor so
That at least it is possible to get around the course a couple of times without exploding.

    Have fun

  16. SJC - Mos Kreetle

A map that I began work on before my break from mapping. It is a Tatooine based map in a fictional (in relation to starwars that is!) town named Mos Kreetle. This map will eventually form a player world in the upcoming mod JKA Galaxies, the map act as a preview to that mod. I have included instructions throughout the map given by protocol droids that are standing near shuttle ports, and banking terminals and other key areas, the will inform you that you cannot do carry out a particular function at the moment, these actions are a part of the Galaxies Mod so thats something to look forward to in the new year.

The map stands as a completely playable FFA map however with plenty of areas to explore and also lends itself well to the RPGEr as there are living quarters and underground bars to name a few.

Have fun and have a happy new year!

  17. Several Sided Sid's Tantive IV Rebel Blockade Runner

This is my interpretation of the interior of the 'Tantive IV' Rebel Blockade Runner, the Corellian Corvette seen at the beginning of A New Hope and also in Revenge Of The Sith. I have tried to include every angle we see on film in both movies and also I have extended past this, to the rest of the ship, to show what it could be like.

But watch out - the Imperials have us in their sights!!

I finally found a few days in between writing my books (more to come on those soon, I hope - will keep you all posted...) to work on my maps again. For those of you familiar with the little cans of coke hidden in each one for your searching pleasure, I thought it might be fun to move the cans to new locations and re-release the maps so you can search for them again! I may do a Can-Hunt Map-Pack at some point, but I thought I'd release this one all by itself first.

There are actually TWO cans hidden in this map now - one in plain sight and just for a laugh, and the other is difficult to find unless you have your sabre ignited and are prepared to search high and low, as before...

Apart from the cans, I have rigged the walls to explode in a few more places! Other than that, the map is exactly the same as the .v1 release... apart from a tiny texture touch-up in a couple of locations...

(The ship is intentionally slightly oversize, as I first tried building it in proper proportion and the game's own camera angle means you feel like you're banging your head as you follow the player. So a slightly bigger space means that gameplay is as flawless as can be, I find. I know other mappers have found that too!)

  18. Battle on Theed

This map is (loosely) based on the location of Theed as seen in Episode 1.

This is a FFA/TFFA version, but there are also MB2 and Siege versions being tested at www.moviebattles.com and www.jkasiege.com. The Siege version will be included in the upcoming JKASiege map pack but if you want to help test it out, visit www.jkasiege.com.

  19. The Valley of the Jedi

    Author : Zachry D'Kana
    E-Mail : zachrydkana@gmail.com
    Website : http://valleyofthejedi.boards.net/
    Files Included : the_valley_of_the_jedi.pk3 ; votj_pack.pk3
File Size : ~100 MB together
    Date Released : August 28th, 2016

    Description :

This is the official map of The Valley of the Jedi JA community. We are a group of people who play to have fun
and train together, and so the map caters to the needs of a training facility.

    The design was heavily inspired by Raven's yavin style from JO and JA;
in some cases I used the original brushes as basis to make people remember the atmosphere
of jk2 (for example the hangar or the duel room from yavin_temple).

    Included areas are:

    * A centred Spawn Area for easy and quick access to the rest of the map.
    * A Dueling Area, with 2 rooms for 1on1 training and a third one for the usual sparring. Also a combo pad
    from the_academy_v3 map by Virtue.
    * A Bottomless Pit (inspired by the academy maps by Virtue) with the soon-to-be-famous Jaina Launching Pad
    * A Hall of Fame, including members that have been with VJ for a long time
    * A Hangar (from jk2 yavin_temple)
    * A Class Room (inspired by the jk2 yavin_temple class room)
    * A Drone Room (for aerial training, connecting to the Class Room)
    * A Duel Theory Room with scripted NPCs for training
    * An NPC room containing the members' NPCs. NOTE: It is possible to pit NPCs against each other by using
the green/red switch to change between spawning player friendly and enemy NPCs.
    * A huge area outside the temple with a dueling mat. (May experience fps issues.)
    * A Ceremony Hall (Inspired by jk3 academy6)
NOTE: There is a huge window with an areaportal that was placed in to improve framerate yet still keep it
possible to experience the outside view from the hall. Keep in mind that although the window can be toggled on
and off, the areaportal will be removed the first time the window opens, causing a drop in FPS. Therefore,
the window should only be opened for celebrations or other events when low FPS is not an issue.
It's not an elegant solution, BUT duels in the ceremony hall are now possible at least.
    * A bar, (inspired by the bar from y4_temple1 by Thrust) containing many posters and inside jokes from VJ as well
as a Corny Corner with corny joke terminals. Be warned: the jokes are horribad
The area also has a dance floor, and some private booths (from ffa3).
    * A Balcony (from mp/ffa3)
    * A Medbay
    * A little shrine before the main elevator (The Force blesses those brave enough to step in front of it!)
    * An Armory (next to the Class Room)
    * An Admin room with switches to lock down certain areas, change the map music and a restart button
    Entrance possible through teleport (coordinates: -2440 159 6232 0) or... well, that's a secret!
    * A D'Kana shrine
To say thanks to my Master and my Padawans for being so awesome. (Yes Prot, your dream has come true )
I must also mention that the shrine was built In Memory of Those who died on account of SWITCHES.
    * Secret areas and some intentional map bugs (because who doesn't like map bugs?? =] )

    Extras:

    * The map music contains some of our recordings/compositions. (See Music for more info)
    * Some of my artworks can be found throughout the level, most notably the bar and the D'Kana shrine.

After 9 months of hard work, the results are finally here! Have fun everyone! :]

    Installation:

Unzip the *.pk3 files into your GAMEDATA/BASE folder. Note that there are 2 files but
only the_valley_of_the_jedi.pk3 is needed to play the map. The other file is optional, it
contains extra models and skins that were made for the community. Although not necessary,
it is recommended that you install them for the full experience of the map. It will modify
some of the basic character textures, so if after the install you notice any changes you
would like to revert, just remove the votj_pack.pk3 from your base folder.
votj_pack.pk3 also includes a fix for Vladarion's memorial on the_academy_v3 map.

    ***************
    *Final notes*
    ***************

The map has been a great challenge as it was my third official map and the first map I made for a community.
As such, it required a lot of learning on my part for which I'm very grateful. Basically, the VJ map wasn't only
about mapping in radiant, but it operated with a wide range of skills: architecture, image editing, skinning,
modeling, scripting, learning in-depth about the q3map2 compiler, lighting, shaders, hinting, texture-blending,
EasyGen, composing music and a couple of other things.

Sooo.. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to the project, especially the tons of tutorials made by various
people on many different topics that ultimately made it possible for me to learn new things and go forward.

    **********************
    *Additional Credits*
    **********************

Dash Starlight, for taking the initiative with the whole VJ project as well as providing continous support and
    insights.

Jaina D'Kana, for her ideas and support. (Like the mountains around the temple that made me redesign the map from
scratch ) Credit also goes to her for the 'not wanted' poster and the idea to build intentional bugs in the map.

Iceblade for making the Jedi Haircuts poster and the Starlight's Cantina sign, and providing technical support.

Pala D'Kana for recording his trumpet play for the map music in the Across the Stars theme.
Also thanks to him for doing some polishing on the holo plaques. (The old ones are still good for one thing though:
if you can read them, you don't need to wear glasses.)

Reborn for his eagle eyes to spot unintended bugs in the map.

Proteus D'Kana for the shrine idea, even tho it started out as a joke. Well, I guess the punchline is that I
    actually built it.

Keldaron for his 'easter egg' ideas.

Beta testers: Dash Starlight, Pala D'Kana, Reborn, Jaina D'Kana, Iceblade, Zhan D'Kana, Proteus D'Kana

    You are all awesome! *hugs*

  20. Jedi Council GCX - Skyboxes/_Skybox

Just the final version with all it's little fixes and what not. Ambience sound is added into the map, and unlike other copies this one doesn't have bugs.

Map name in game is jedi_council_gcx

This map is literally like a paint job over the original. I had absolutely no hand in the making of or creating
of the original GCX map, nore was I ever apart of or in {O}.

  23. Battle of Geonosis

This is a map that I'm working on for the Moviebattles II mod. I decided to convert an early version of it to TFFA/FFA and release it. It's based on the Battle of Geonosis from Attack of the Clones. I say "based on" because it's not an SJC-caliber replica, but it should hopefully feel loosely familiar.

  24. Jurancor Park

I started this map nearly a year ago (but it didnt take a year to make lol), but started to work on other projects, but went back to doing the "park" every now and then.

A very good friend of mine (GA)-Vince spent many an hour bugging me to finish this map, so well.. I did !.

The map contains a lot of areas that are based on or inspired by the Jurassic park movies, you will find that most of the map is out in the open, I have included many places suitable for duels, but this map will be great for FFA, large open spaces, jump pads, swoops, Rancors, Wampas spawnable rebels and reborns.

You will find many inside areas two including the lab, the cinema ride, and the café, and many more.

There are some NPC's being made which I will include in the next version, such as Raptors (that are already out but wont include until version two), a T-rex and a jeep, so watch out for those.

  25. Sith Council v3

his is the Final Version of my Sith Council Map. This map is loosely based on the Jedi Council GC map form JK2. In the main area, there are 3 duel rooms, one interrogation room, one Armory and a Library. Also a bar to sit back and relax. Threw the main doors, to the left, is a medical room to be healed. To the right are one set of the bedrooms to rest and watch some good old tv. And straight is the other set of bedrooms and to the end of the hallway is the Main Duel room with stands to watch, also a VIP room for the high power followers of Kahn and Neo.

There is also an elevator going to the basement threw the main doors. In the basement, there is a jail. This jail has four different jail cells in it. All the cells can be locked and unlocked from the guards room. But hopefully they do not see you escaping from your room. The Pillar Room is back and located beside the jail. Finally, on the other side of the hallway is the Sith Council room. This is an area for clans to talk. There are chairs to sit back and relax and talk.

In the main Room, you also see a big door opposite to the door I just talked about. Threw the doors you will find another set of doors. Threw there is the out door area. There is many trees to hind behind and attack people. To the left of the entrance, there is a water fall, nice area to duel. Straight across you see a red light on the wall, go and press the button and the wall will open. There is a Court House to judge the lamers and a rancor pit beneath to teach them a lessen. And finally to the right of the entrance to the out door area and another waterfall, with an area down below to also duel. There is a NEW secret cave somewhere that leads to the tomb of Kahn and Neo. In the tomb, there is a sacrifice room to sacrifice all those needed. Have fun finding the entrance and the way threw the maze.

Also, if you have played the RJ_Sublime map, you know about their control center. I have continued to use this idea in this version. There are three switches. One to close off the bar, one to transform the lava pit, and one to transform the acid pit.

Seeing there are many players who love to use noclip, I have come up with new ways to prevent you from using it to use the hidden secrets. I call it a "True Enter". Unless you enter the room the way you where suppose to, you will either be frozen in the room once you come unclip, or the secrets just wont be shown.

After so many people where asking for the Jedi Council GC Map for jk2 brought to JA, I decided to do something about it. I decided to make my own with a Sith feel to it. IN the .ZIP file, you will find the history behind the map and maybe some inside info to the entrance of the caves. This map was created from scratch and I never edited the Jedi Council GC .map file. This map has took about 4 years off and on to complete. Before you tell me there are problems or bugs, like i just said, if you use nolcip and become frozen in a room once you unclip, this is not a bug, I made it so it would do that. Also, if a button hurts you when you think its suppost to hurt someone else... no one says thats a bug either. Please do not e-mail me asking for hints and how to find the secrets, i will not tell you. I do not make secrets just to tell everyone how to get to them... wheres the fun in that?
