Dusk on Corellia in a trio of skyscrapers piercing the clouds. There are flying vehicles, rotating neon signs, sewers, and high-rise apartments.

This is an approximation of the Cloakshape fighter from the Expanded Universe. It includes the tail-fin used by bounty hunters, but this can be removed very easily to create a 'stock' Cloakshape. You have to use the PK3 because the textures I used are from Jedi Outcast.

    Skyhoppers

This is a pack of two modified versions of the Skyhopper and the normal version. The modified versions I call urban Skyhoppers because one of them, the one without the gun, I originally created for my map 'ffa_corellia,' which is a large urban environment with skyscrapers and various ships.

    Spinner Cars

The Spinner Car is a futuristic, flying police car seen in the 1982 sci-fi movie, Blade Runner. This is my attempt to model it for Jedi Academy. It may not look exactly like the one from the movie, but this is about as good an imitation as one can make with a Quake 3 engine. I have also included a civilian version, which lacks the blue color and the blue and red lights typical of police cars.

A duel map on a Blade Runner-esque street. The street lamps, Spinner Car and many of the buildings are based on Blade Runner designs. The music, Blade Runner Blues by Vangelis, and the rain set the mood.

A group of skyscrapers in the mountains of Alzoc 3. Flying verhicles and floating ad pods lend a futuristic atmosphere to the map. The FPS is very bad, but that cannot be avoided with such a large map where many rooms have large windows from which one can see almost the entire map. This is the end product of a long chain of maps that stretches all the way back to Jedi Outcast. The first was ffa_coruscant and the first JA update was called ffa_corellia. This, the third and final update is set in the capital city of Alzoc 3. Cannonicity was not a concern of mine while making this map so if this is not how Alzoc 3 is "supposed to look," deal with it.

This map is a recreation of Chalmun's Cantina as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. I used 'The Incredible Locations of Episodes IV, V, and VI' for reference and while the map holds fairly true the book's depiction and to what is seen in the film, some elements were inevitably the result of my own interpretation. As for the surrounding buildings, they are not based on anything seen in the movie and are simply products of my imagination. Finally, I made another map that is just the interior of the Cantina so that I could use smoke for an atmospheric effect. Be sure to look for the T-16 Skyhopper, which I created to extremely accurate dimensions from scans of the drawings in 'The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels'. I decided to have it land on skis with its wings folded up at about the midway point, as this is how it was shown in the 'Incredible Locations' book. Although Essential Guide claims that the Skyhopper is a two-seater, I decided to keep it a smaller single-seater. Keep your eye out for a few secrets. The Skyhopper is on a raise-able platform and you can spawn a Swoop somewhere in the map. Oh, and keep an eye out for Jabba the Hutt!

    Skyhopper

    Version v2

A highly accurate Skyhopper prefab I made by scanning in diagrams from "The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" and building around them. Although Essential Guide claims that the Skyhopper is a two-seater, I decided to keep it a smaller single-seater as this is how it is depicted in "The Incredible Locations of Episodes IV, V, and VI." There is a landed version with folded wings and an in-flight version, either of which you may use in your maps. Just be sure to give me credit.

I designed this map as a small, contained, but highly detailed depiction of the bridge of an unpsecified Imperial starship. The layout of the map is very simple but it should be an enjoyable duel map. Look for little details like coffee mugs at some of the work stations and several forced-perspective starships beyond the viewports. I may expand the map in the future to include other portions of the ship.

A small ffa map designed around a lake. Towers, catwalks, and numerous hiding places make this map perfect for sniping. Includes other weapons if you don't like sniping. Since Sniper War v2, I have implemented several improvements. The water is now clear and far less repetitive than the previous texture, I used Szico's "skybox blending" to reduce the sense of discontinuity between the terrain and the skybox, and I added a deadly laser beam that shoots down a long tube and can be activated from a nearby building to surreptitiously vaporize your opponents. There are also numerous minor texture and architectural changes throughout the map.

Brushes: 3301 Entities: 316 Bot Support: No Music: Yes New Textures: Yes New Models: No New Sounds: No Representation of part of a spaceport on Alzoc III with two landing bays, a bar, and a small piece of the exterior. The only major change since v1 is the different skybox. Instead of the base JA skybox, I used the same snowy mountainscape from my Alzoc 3 Capital map. The outdoor lighting is now closer to dusk than daytime, which frankly is more atmospheric than what I had done before. I also removed the useless Swoop bike.

This is a zero-g combat training facility based on a similar concept from the novel "Ender's Game." The objective is simply to kill all of the Stormtroopers, but have fun doing it. Various ways of completing the objective make the map more fun. You can use emplaced guns, charge right into the fusillade of blaster fire, sit back and snipe from the pillbox-like structures at the edges of the map, or use a combination of all three tactics. Six Rebel soldiers assist you in the fight against the Empire. There is no formal end to the map - just have fun killing all the Stormtroopers. My brother and I originally made this map for Jedi Outcast about 5 years ago. I tried porting it to JA, but unfortunately there were irreperable bugs so I decided to leave it as a map for JO. I've tried to optimize it as much as possible but because there are so many Stormtroopers some lag is inevitable. However, it WILL clear up after you kill a few of them so don't worry. Turning off shadows will speed it up dramatically.
