Mortal Kombat Trilogy Skin Pack
After too many years I decided to update my Mortal Kombat Ninjas Skin Pack. And I did almost all of the klassic characters of this game.

Shiva

* Skins : Shiva is a Hindu god if you don't know! I reskined jedi_tf to make them. there are many you can chose from the
player setting menu, it's more like a matching game though.
* Weapons : Shiva use Ice Cube as weapon. No not those you put in drinks! They look like snow flakes.
Also Shiva has a pair of solid swords, claws, and a staff. All weapon = custom models + saber effects!
To Install
1) Unzip and place " BB_Shiva_Skin.pk3 " *a skin file
" BB_Shiva_Wep.pk3 " *weapon file
" BB_MENUS_2.pk3 " *saber menu script
into your Jedi Academy base folder: StarWars JediKnight Jedi Academy/GameData/base
2) Open "CHOSE ONE" folder inside the zip, and chose one of them:
" BB_Shiva_MP " for Multi Player game (MP).
or " BB_Shiva_SP " for Single Player Game (SP).
and place it into /base folder. DO NOT place both.

Bugs and Compatibility :
I found the menu script for player menu and saber menu seems always conflict with each other.
So if you have other saber mod or new species mod with menus in your base folder, you might see like no names or
no images on the custom sabers. My menu scripts are in those named "BB_MENUS.pk3" files alone, you can remove
them without touching the weapon files.
The Shiva skin " BB_Shiva_Skin.pk3 " is a stand-alone file as well if you only want to keep the skins.
About graphics, the skins and effects are tested excessively so there should be no floater. But your machine will decide
what you see so I can't tell you what you should see but no I don't have the best nor old graphic card no no.
There are 2 shiva skins that have bright glow effect. If you try to mix it's body part with the other none glow leg skins.
You will see some disappearing texture. So don't mix it. Or do! and laugh at it.

Reskinned Rebel v1

Technically a New Republic trooper, but 🤷, semantics.
There were quite a few parts of the Rebel skin that didn't look great, so I did what I could to improve them. I also made no-vest and RGB skins, made a fancy unique and high resolution eye texture like I usually do, and included both rebel soundsets from JK2. The two rebel NPCs in the game now use those sets instead of the rebel_pilot1 set.
Since Jedi Academy is ten in-universe years after the Rebel Alliance reorganized into the New Republic, it made sense to me that their military would look at least somewhat different. So I took some creative liberties with the uniform to suggest some evolution in that time, taking other appearances of New Republic troopers of about the same time into account while not straying too far from the original idea.

Greedo

This is a reskin of the default JA Rodian model to make it look like Greedo from A New Hope. It's a simple reskin really. The model is already based off of Greedo, they only changed some minor things like colors. I couldn't change the shoes, as those are the main inaccuracy, but this is pretty close without remodeling.
I included an enemy NPC as well.

I don't think there are any Greedo skins (none that I could find), most people use the default JA model for that, so I figured I would whip one up that made it a little more accurate.

Cathar Male

This skin is of a male cathar (subspecies). It contains red and blue team skins, and uses sounds from the original game.
CREDITS: All model and clothing skin credit goes to Spanki. The addition of pointy ears goes to DarkestTwin. All facial textures are mine.
BUGS: Because of the model edit, the next warps slightly in the chair sitting position. However, it's barely noticable.

Reskinned Jan v1

This reskin of Jan Ors for Jedi Academy tweaks her colors and fixes minor issues with her model without departing from her original design too heavily. It will overwrite the existing Jan in the base game, team skins included. The changes are admittedly not too dramatic, akin to my previous Bespin Cop and Mon Mothma reskins.
Since I made this for Jedi Academy, I took advantage of the fancy effects it has and JK2 lacks: specifically RGB tinting and dynamic glow from specular shaders. That said, I recommend you have Detailed Shaders and Dynamic Glow enabled. The game is plenty old by now--I'm confident your machine can handle it. I've found that turning off Detailed Shaders still shows the RGB tinting, though it covers entire textures instead of using the alpha channel as a mask. It works, but it doesn't look great.

Boba Fett ESB

DESCRIPTION: I reskinned Boba Fett using numerous photo references to recreate his original look from Empire Strikes Back. Giving him his green gauntlets, green jetpack, alternate wookie braid scalps, and a more subtle color for his armor since the movies weren't as vibrant as the base model. I altered the cape and I also changed the color of the jumpsuit to as well. In addition to all of this I added Boba Fett's original sounds from both Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
BUGS: There aren't any i am aware of. I had some problems with the shaders but i believe those are all resolved.
COMMENTS: There are two different characters in this mod. One of the original Boba Fett and another of the Clone Boba Fett.

BIOGRAPHY
Gram was born the son of Morgan and Patricia Van Alasdaire, immigrant farmers from the New Vahla colony who now resided on Sulon. Growing up on a local farm, the young boy quickly became adept at reprogramming and repairing the working droids. After learning about his parent’s death at the hands of one of said malfunctioning security droids, he enlisted as a member of the Sorosub Research and Development team.
His race marked him apart from his fellow peers, taking on the name of Gale and leaving the identity of Gram behind. He served for a number of his teenage years as a Lieutenant, being deployed on exploratory vessels with the intent to find conventional locations in the Unknown Regions. The purpose of these ventures was to establish a rudimentary framework for refueling stations.During this time, Gale’s latent Force-sensitivity began to reveal itself, showing him a brief premonition that saved the lives of his peers, avoiding a head on collision with a nearby asteroid. Though he saved the crew initially, the resulting damage to the hyperdrive sent them abandoned to the deep reaches of space - an area known as the Nihl Retreat. Gale and his flight searched desperately for anyone alive in the deep void, seeking aide with distress beacons and vain flare of plasma.
His suspicions regarding his own abilities where confirmed when a lone outpost replied to their distress. Their freighter landed, and the flight was quickly boarded and overcome by the forces therein. Though his flight died, throughout variety of vicious and inhuman means, Gale managed to make a convincing argument for his survival - having for the first time aggressively and instinctively using the Force against his captors. His time spent as a prisoner still weighs in his mind, and the choices he made to survive has resulted in a severely damaged psyche. As a result, he was given a choice. Live as a newly minted member of the Eternal, or die a forgotten casualty in the darkness of the void. Choosing to survive and learn, Gale threw himself into his studies of the Force and the Dark Side, fueled by a fervent will to live, and thrive.
But the damage done by his training at the hands of the Sith proved too much for his mind to bear. With madness slowly whittling away at his sanity, Gale has taken to avoiding the Darkness within him and seeking help to control this ailing disease.

I have noticed, that there are actually 2 models in JKA universe of the Old Ben Kenobi from
original SW trilogy, played in the movies by Sir Alec Guinness. The one that I really like the most
is what I have saw from Movie Battles 2, that was actually made by DT85 and textures from Plasma.
My full respect to both of them for their amazing masterpiece work!
So I have decided to make a re-skin of this model as Ben Kenobi "one with the Force" (a.k.a. Ben's ghost).
The ghost we know from Episode 5, when he appear to Luke during his mission on HOTH and also my inspiration was more or less
from the Ben Kenobi's ghost from the bonus mission from "The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition", when Sith Stalker dressed as a
Tusken confronted with Ben Kenobi and after he killed him, had to fight with the Ghost.
Inspiration for the textures came from the work of Zappa_0 and his work on the Hologram skins.
Thought you might like to play around as one with the Force with Old Ben's spirit. So have fun

Put the file "ben_ghost.pk3" inside your "GameData/BASE" folder.
The model have a SINGLE PLAYER SUPPORT, so you can choose it from the manue and use as Jaden Korr in the game story.

Holocron Challenges
So, I have been playing JKA ever since it came out. I have seen a ton of mods come and a ton of mods go. I have seen SP mods, I have seen MP mods, I have seen attempts at reinventing the wheel. Never thus far, however, have I seen a labor of love such as this one and (with no offense meant at all towards anyone else) from a person with such aesthetic quality. From the very menu of the mod, to the entire UI, to the Intuitiveness of selecting a character to play as (including variants for them), to the roguelike gameplay that no one knew how much we both wanted and needed, this mod is something that truly makes JKA replayable infinitely. It's also quite magical how the creations of almost every single being in JKhub has coalesced into this gem, making it not only one of the most (if not -the- most) enjoyable mod to have been spawned for the game but also sort of a history book of JKhub past, present and future. Just beautiful. ~S -

Holocron Challenges
Thanks for this, I've taken a look at Mustafar and there was a miscount on one of the waves towards the end leading to the next wave being spawned earlier than it should which I've fixed now and it will be in the next update. I haven't been able to replicate the freezing or missing textures on later rounds though, are you using OpenJK to play the mod? There are issues in the base version of the game which is why I made OpenJK a requirement. I'll look at adding something extra to arenas for clearing all the rooms. I wanted to try to make the characters different to play which is why they have different force powers, it does make some of them harder to play than others but I think it also gives people a bit more of a challenge if that's what they're looking for. I'll look at adding heal/drain to some more characters though to give people more chances to regen their health but I did set up the ladders so you get healed after each boss encounter and after each arena in arenas. Customising characters isn't something I'm going to add though. I want to do everything through the hub map and adding customisable characters would mean too many permutations and it would be a bit of a headache to script, it was bad enough just trying to get these to work as is! -

Welcome to the New Zyk Mod, a re-imagined version of the original Zyk OpenJK Mod. This is a RPG Mod with skills, quests, mini-games, admin commands, and more. This new mod is intended for a more balanced PvP and PvE experience. Features: Players can upgrade skills and play quests. An inventory system where items have weight. A Stamina system where player loses stamina over the time and can regen it by using bacta items and meditating. Some Single player maps have support to CTF in Multiplayer. There are cvars to set saber damage and blocks/parries in private duels. Entity/Building system that allows add, edit, remove and list entities in a map. It also allows to save them. It is also possible to remap shaders and save the remaps. There are some mini-games for players, like the Duel Tournament, Sniper Battle, Melee Battle, and Racing Mode. Holocron Challenges
The mod is amazing. The hub is very cozy, everything is within easy reach. Very interesting idea with a challenge of multiple arenas and ending with a boss room. The variety of characters is impressive, but there is room for improvement. Now I will touch on controversial issues. It's more like feedback: 1) I liked the idea with the arenas, but I wanted there to be a unique reward in the form of a separate secret arena after clearing all the rooms. If you don't go into boss rooms. 2) The ladder modes are very unbalanced. A lot of characters appear on Mustafar; in the last 3 stages, waves of opponents appeared even when the previous ones had not yet ended. It also caused the game to freeze and textures to disappear. There is a similar situation on the Roussan map, although everything is fine with the waves, but towards the final battles the same situation occurs with missing textures and freezing. On the Jedi Temple map, guards with a dual sword in one hand kill with 1-2 attacks. When in this arena you don’t experience the slightest difficulty with the bosses. Played on Jedi Knight difficulty. 3)I wanted to touch on the balance of the characters. As I understand it, the idea was to make each hero with his own unique set of skills, strengths and weaknesses. And almost everyone doesn’t have the healing skill, but several of the characters have it. Which greatly affects the gameplay in the ladder. Although the variety of characters is impressive, some heroes have little or no variety. As I understand it, not everyone was able to be contacted to obtain permission. I would like to see more options or the ability to customize your character yourself. As I wrote above, I really liked the mod. And the moments that I voiced. These are just my impressions of the game, which can be ignored. -
