HapSlash's Improved Imperial Officer with Customization Support
By Oldenburg
Player can customize an Imperial Officer by choosing from 14,688 22,032 combinations of faces, accurate rank badges and code cylinders, uniform colors, gloves, holsters, and belt boxes.
All these options were possible in HapSlash's original model and Cryptaea's skins, but customization is now made easier using Jedi Academy's interface in Single and Multiplayer.
Most content (modeling and skinning) created by these two aforementioned authors, customization support added by Oldenburg (including icons and minor model edit).
Currently includes three uniforms in customization: olive-grey Naval Officer, black Naval Subofficer/Stormtrooper Officer, and white/black ISB officer.
OB_CustomImpNPCs.pk3 replaces Imperial Officer NPCs in Singleplayer.

Story:
After the events at Narshaddaa the New Republic found that Tavion had somehow been able to clone Darth Vader. The Vader Clones are now being used as frontline troops for the Dark Alliance forces. With the death of their leader Tavion, the Dark Alliance are somehow still able to function and are taking control of countless star systems throughout the galaxy. The Jedis numbers are thin but with the help of Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn, the Jedi are still managing to hold their own against the almighty Dark Alliance.
The New Republic now fear that the Dark Alliance may close in and try to seize the power from the Valley of the Jedi. This must not be allowed to happen. And so the New Republic have decided that it is time for the Valley to be destroyed.
Countless Jedi Knights now keep watch over the demolition operation to hold back any attack that may come from the Dark Alliance.
The New Republic have enlisted the help of Mara Jade to also assist with the operation and she is now traveling to the Valley of the Jedi to witness the destruction of the main Valley's fountain of power.

Installation Information & Playing Notes:
Make sure you have the latest patch for the game!
Using Winzip or WinRAR, unzip the 'Vots' folder and the 'Vots.bat' file into the
JK3/GameData folder. Then simply double click the 'Vots.bat' icon to play.
Once installed I recommend seeing how the game will be easier using either the staff or dual
lightsabers that it may be best playing the game on 'Jedi' difficulty with the single saber
and play the game on 'Jedi Knight' difficulty while using the saber staff or dual sabers.
When selecting the single saber style please note that the style you decide to choose will be
the only fighting style you will use throughout the whole level!

Construction Information:
Known Bugs: If there are any slowdowns try turning off 'dynamic glow' in the 'video options' menu.
You may want to skip certain cutscenes by pressing the use button. However the screen may appear to freeze but will have the words 'skipping cinematic' at the top. It hasn't froze, this is normal. You should just be patient and allow the cutscene to skip, which will happen after a few seconds.
When part 4 is loading you may or may not have some problems. The briefing screen may freeze or you may get a 'CL_GetServerCommand:a reliable command was cycled out' error that will prevent you from going onto part 4. If this happens then you can try one of four things.
Bring down the console with the combination of the 'left shift' and ` keys and then type in "map part_4" without the quotes and then press enter. If this doesn't work then try again but as it is trying to load, hit the 'escape' key to return back to the main menu and then try the above console command from the main menu. Quit the game and then reload the level. Restart the computer Reinstall the game and/or the MOD. Testing System Specifications:

This is a short and sweet level I put together for the holiday contest this year. Just unzip the folder and place the contents in the Gamedata folder. You can then use the included .bat file to load the mod on both Steam and disc versions.
Kyle has decided to take a quick break from the festivities, but it isn't as relaxing as he'd hoped.
Known Bugs: Sometimes Rosh and Jaden are stubborn and don't bow out properly, but the cutscene should still trigger once both are dealt with. 🙂

Pick your character in the Hub map and then select which map and gametype you want to play in this single player mod that spans multiple eras.
Game Types:
Arenas - Fight your way through multiple rooms picking your own route to reach one of four bosses.
Ladder - Twenty waves of enemies to fight through including boss fights.
Ladder Maps:
Jakku - The desert planet from The Force Awakens, fight the First Order with boss fights against Captain Phasma and Kylo Ren.
Mustafar - The lava planet from Revenge of the Sith, fight the Clone Troopers of the newly formed Galactic Empire with boss fights against Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine.

Installation
Extract the plasma_ldr folder and Play_Holocron_Challenges.bat into your GameData folder usually located at:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\
Then to play the mod run the Play_Holocron_Challenges.bat file (or Play_Holocron_Challenges_64.bat if you want to run the 64bit version).
This mod require OpenJK for it to work correctly, you can download it from either of these locations:

Known Bugs
Will crash in the Base version of Jedi Academy, you must use OpenJK to play this mod.
In the hub menu it crashes if you select too many characters, to get around this I've added a warning message that will pop up when you hit the limit and it will lock you out of being able to change characters. If you'd like to still pick a new character after this go to the center of the hub map and press Use on the Reload Hub holo projector and the map will reload and allow you to change your character again.

SP Character Chooser

This mod replaces the character maker in JKA with a character chooser with 40+ options!
What this mod does is this:
1. Replaces the old SP character chooser
2. Adds 40+ choices
3. Organizes them by "faction" or group (ex: Empire, Sith, etc.)
4. Provides a basic description for each choice
5. Some choices have "Variants" or different versions of the player. (ex: Tavion has a JK3 version and a JK2 version)
6. Please read the readme for more info

Doublecross on Nar Shaddaa

A recreation of the first level of Dark Forces 2 I did many years ago. Found it a few weeks ago, and when I tried it again I found it quite enjoyable and fast-paced, so I decided to share it. I made the NPCs more dynamic overall to make them actual threats, and not just fixed targets.
To install, unpack the folder DCONS and dcons.bat into your GameData folder, and launch dcons.bat. To uninstall, remove the folder DCONS and dcons.bat from the GameData folder.

Rosh_Overwrite.pk3

Included with the Rosh_Overwrite are a few minor tweaks to the Single Player experience. Firstly, the levelshot for the T1_Inter cutscene has been changed to display Rosh's new appearance. On top of that, Rosh's "dark" NPC file has been adjusted to make him a more formidable foe when you encounter him on Vjun. Another change is the Lightsaber which Rosh uses against you during this encounter. He no longer shares a saber model with the majority of enemies encountered in the game, he uses a backhanded Lightsaber stance and his Lightsabers colour is now blue. Credits to AshuraDX for the TFU2 Lightsaber hilt.
Lastly, several snippets of Rosh's dialogue have been cut entirely. Other pieces have been replaced (along with one or two lines from Kyle and male/female Jaden to match.) I tried to overwrite the subtitles, but that caused weird and wonderful errors, so they've been left untouched. Hopefully, with these changes you'll find Rosh Penin more endurable when playing single player.

Bayon

A recreation of the Bayon, a massive temple constructed in Cambodia by order of the Khmer King-God Jayavarman VII during the XIII century.
The map only works in SP mode. Although it is technically playable in MP mode as well, it has a lot of issues, mainly shaders and sounds, therefore it's not supported. Finding all the crystals around the temple (3 in total) will unlock a secret area.
The map has a quite low luminosity, so you'll want to adjust the gamma in the Settings menu. There may be minor oversights, mostly technical ones, but I couldn't find any.
To install, unpack the files in your GameData folder. To uninstall, remove Bayon.bat and the Bayon folder from your GameData folder.

This is a beta version of my attempt to create KotOR style cheat and customization menu for Jedi Academy. Unfortunately, I have no time to finish it at the moment. Not all options I wanted are currently added, but you might get the idea. I used "Ingame Character and Saber Menus" by Circa in this mod. Force hex textures were changed. So the way they apear in force menu before mission is changed too. In order to see what options are available in this mod, just look at the screenshots. Ahhhhh... Finally done. 35 levels, 150000 brushes, 25000 lines of script,
40000 entities and 3000 hours of blood and sweat. EY:4 - The Lost Maps.
Let's get this out of the way first. I know the download is big. Sorry.
I've made every effort to keep the mod as small as possible. There are
20-30 hours of gameplay here, so it will be worth the download, I hope.
If you played my first conversion, Escape: Yavin IV, then hold on to your
hats. This is an extension of the first conversion, but includes 25
additional levels, a new story, vehicle levels, space levels, additional
duels and puzzles, and customized interface (including a 'Chapters' menu
that enables you to play any game level), on-the-fly saber upgrades, and
three endings (that's right 'THREE' endings). Your choices during the game
decide your fate.
Given the length of the game, I have eased up on the difficultly of the
game a bit (just a bit).
Nuff said.
Installation:
-------------
BEFORE YOU INSTALL, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Remove *all* custom pk3s and mods from your base / GameData folder
2. Remove *all* custom pk3s and mods from your base / GameData folder
3. Remove *ALL* custom pk3s and mods from your base / GameData folder
Failure to do so will likely result in the game failing to even start. So
please don't ask me why the game won't start if you haven't done this.
To install this map, extract the contents of the ZIP file into the
'GameData' folder of your Jedi Academy install directory. Double-click the
batch file in the GameData folder and you're on your way.
I've been running with the 1.1 patch. If you don't have it, play at
your own risk.
Story:
------
Basically, the Sith have dominated the galaxy. The good guys (called the
Alliance) are threatened. The game will feed you some hints that explain
the reason for the Sith control. Of course, you have to come to the
rescue to save the universe from total Sith control (oh, unless you choose
to become a Sith). The rest of the story pretty much tells itself.
Please note that if you choose to jump around the levels using the chapters
menu, you will not get the entire story. Just keep that in mind. It is
recommended you play through in normal game mode before jumping around.
Gameplay:
---------
In all, there are 38 levels (12 cinematic levels and 26 playable levels).
Unlike the traditional game (JKIII), your saber upgrades occur as you
defeat your opponents. Each level also offers your a chance to 'trade'
your saber for one encountered up to that point in the game.
Like the cool saber disc your opponent has? Defeat him, and take it!
It's that simple.
Issues:
-------
There are two really big issues:
1. level2_saber_shipment always hangs for me when it is *not* loaded as the
first level in the game.
** If this occurs, you can use the Chapters menu to start a new game
from this point in the game.
2. After some time of playing, the game seems to 'hang' after about 90
seconds from a save point. It does not happen in the same level or
in the same place in the level. The problem only occurs after playing
and saving for SEVERAL HOURS continuously (essentially the same game).
Restarting and loading the saved game does not correct the problem.
** If this occurs, you can use the Chapters menu to start a new game
from where you left off.
3. My hard drive crashed and I lost *everything* associated with this game
just a couple weeks ago. Fortunately, I had already posted a V4 Beta, so
really what you are playing is Beta V4+ here. Everything pretty much
works fine, but I lost all of the .map and script files. So... If you
use the Chapters menu to start the ending levels of the game (Chapters 8
- 11), you'll need to use the cheats to setup your force powers.
** Bring up the console then type:
> helpusobi 1
> setforceall 3
There's other little detailed things, most of which you probably won't
even notice, so it's not worth mentioning...

Marka Ragnos was not the only Dark Jedi which had experimented with the force. So we heard about a rumour that an other lesser well-known Sith was able to build a weapon like the Ragnos Scepter too. Is this story true so we have to found it before somebody wronge can may use it.
Your mission will be to find out this weapon exist or not. For this you have to travel back to the Sith world Korriban. If you find the Scepter so bring it to Yavin for safety.

This mod adds a Jedi-Dog in the singleplayer selection screen and in the multiplayer profile.
Jedi-Dogs are strange creatures from the planet Grrrwoof in the Outer Rim.
There are also npc jedidogs. To spawn it (in SP), first type 'devmapall' in the console (helpusobi 1 in v 1.01) and then
'npc spawn jedidoggood' for the light side Jedi-Dog
'npc spawn jedidogevil' for the dark side Jedi-Dog
'npc spawn jedidogmaster' for the strongest Jedi-Dog or
'npc spawn jedidogpuppy' for the puppy version of the Jedi-Dog.
The puppy's are little doggies armed with a blaster. You can spawn them to help you
(but you need lots of them cuz they are extremely weak).

Ultimate General Grievous

This mod adds General Grievous in the singleplayer selection screen.
You can also select his four sabers and the electrostaff in the saber selection screen (after the Vjun mission in SP).
If you put the grievoussounds file into the base folder, Jaden will sound like Grievous in SP.
You can also spawn in SP Magnaguards to help you by pressing the Page-Up key on your keyboard (but first type 'helpusobi 1').

I added 3 npc files:
grievoustwosaber: General Grievous with two lightsabers

You can spawn them by first typing 'helpusobi 1' in console, and then 'npc spawn thenpcyouwannnaspawn' (without the quotes).
There are also three botfiles; again a Grievous with two sabers, four sabers, and an electrostaff.

Here it is, my third map for jedi Academy May I present the Tomb of Aviskus Like the last two this map was based around an original idea. It was featured in the Now completed Sw fanfic that I wrote, which i am certain many of you have seen on the JKEMPIRE discord Overall background: This is the main chamber of the Tomb of Darth Aviskus, a powerful sith lord who continued the war against the old republic in the aftermath of Darth Ruin's death. However, he was defeated in battle by Renald Vren, the youngest jedi grandmaster in recorded history. After his death his body was brought here to rest, by his followers, whereupon the completion of the tomb, the spirit of the Dark Lord commanded that his surviving followers perform a ritual of immense power, which resulted in the deaths of most of his followers, and it also ensured that his spirit would retain the power that he once had in life. And so here his spirit waits for one powerful enough to reach his sarcophagus so that he may possess them..... Will you be Strong enough to resist the spirit of the Sith Lord??!?!? Or will you fall victim to his power like so many before? I'll admit this was intended to be released sometime in January but life got harder for me, but its here now!! Of all the maps i've made this is the one that I fully intended for use in multiplayer, mainly due to its size and scale Now you too can play this map in MP, you can yeet your opponents into the lava pit or fight on the stairs or if you are crazy like me you'll spawn an army there in SP. Installation: place the PK3 into your gamedata base folder For MD and SWGL users, just place it in the respective SWGL/ MD folders and it should work fine. Enjoy!!!! -

Holocron Challenges
So, I have been playing JKA ever since it came out. I have seen a ton of mods come and a ton of mods go. I have seen SP mods, I have seen MP mods, I have seen attempts at reinventing the wheel. Never thus far, however, have I seen a labor of love such as this one and (with no offense meant at all towards anyone else) from a person with such aesthetic quality. From the very menu of the mod, to the entire UI, to the Intuitiveness of selecting a character to play as (including variants for them), to the roguelike gameplay that no one knew how much we both wanted and needed, this mod is something that truly makes JKA replayable infinitely. It's also quite magical how the creations of almost every single being in JKhub has coalesced into this gem, making it not only one of the most (if not -the- most) enjoyable mod to have been spawned for the game but also sort of a history book of JKhub past, present and future. Just beautiful. ~S -

Holocron Challenges
Thanks for this, I've taken a look at Mustafar and there was a miscount on one of the waves towards the end leading to the next wave being spawned earlier than it should which I've fixed now and it will be in the next update. I haven't been able to replicate the freezing or missing textures on later rounds though, are you using OpenJK to play the mod? There are issues in the base version of the game which is why I made OpenJK a requirement. I'll look at adding something extra to arenas for clearing all the rooms. I wanted to try to make the characters different to play which is why they have different force powers, it does make some of them harder to play than others but I think it also gives people a bit more of a challenge if that's what they're looking for. I'll look at adding heal/drain to some more characters though to give people more chances to regen their health but I did set up the ladders so you get healed after each boss encounter and after each arena in arenas. Customising characters isn't something I'm going to add though. I want to do everything through the hub map and adding customisable characters would mean too many permutations and it would be a bit of a headache to script, it was bad enough just trying to get these to work as is! -

Welcome to the New Zyk Mod, a re-imagined version of the original Zyk OpenJK Mod. This is a RPG Mod with skills, quests, mini-games, admin commands, and more. This new mod is intended for a more balanced PvP and PvE experience. Features: Players can upgrade skills and play quests. An inventory system where items have weight. A Stamina system where player loses stamina over the time and can regen it by using bacta items and meditating. Some Single player maps have support to CTF in Multiplayer. There are cvars to set saber damage and blocks/parries in private duels. Entity/Building system that allows add, edit, remove and list entities in a map. It also allows to save them. It is also possible to remap shaders and save the remaps. There are some mini-games for players, like the Duel Tournament, Sniper Battle, Melee Battle, and Racing Mode. Holocron Challenges
The mod is amazing. The hub is very cozy, everything is within easy reach. Very interesting idea with a challenge of multiple arenas and ending with a boss room. The variety of characters is impressive, but there is room for improvement. Now I will touch on controversial issues. It's more like feedback: 1) I liked the idea with the arenas, but I wanted there to be a unique reward in the form of a separate secret arena after clearing all the rooms. If you don't go into boss rooms. 2) The ladder modes are very unbalanced. A lot of characters appear on Mustafar; in the last 3 stages, waves of opponents appeared even when the previous ones had not yet ended. It also caused the game to freeze and textures to disappear. There is a similar situation on the Roussan map, although everything is fine with the waves, but towards the final battles the same situation occurs with missing textures and freezing. On the Jedi Temple map, guards with a dual sword in one hand kill with 1-2 attacks. When in this arena you don’t experience the slightest difficulty with the bosses. Played on Jedi Knight difficulty. 3)I wanted to touch on the balance of the characters. As I understand it, the idea was to make each hero with his own unique set of skills, strengths and weaknesses. And almost everyone doesn’t have the healing skill, but several of the characters have it. Which greatly affects the gameplay in the ladder. Although the variety of characters is impressive, some heroes have little or no variety. As I understand it, not everyone was able to be contacted to obtain permission. I would like to see more options or the ability to customize your character yourself. As I wrote above, I really liked the mod. And the moments that I voiced. These are just my impressions of the game, which can be ignored.
