SW 7 Blade Effect - Dark_Apprentice
This simply turns your basic red blade into more Star Wars 7: Force Awakens blade-look-a-like
and also as bonus it replaces your yellow blade into the black saber from TFU (Force Unleashed).
With all my respect to Xeby for his amazing work, but since there are people, who want to have red blade I give you this version. Also his blade effect is a bit gray-ish fire, while I choosed to stay with the basic red-blade as from the teaser video, with some red lightning around it as it is. Look the screenshots for more details on how it looks, before you download it.
INSTALL:
Put the "SW 7 Blade - Dark_Apprentice.pk3" into your: JediKnight\GameData\Base
folder and you are ready to go
UNINSTALL: Remove the .pk3 file from your "Base" folder

Improved Base Scope

I've been using this as a personal mod for some time, thought I may as well post it for the rest of you who want
a more functional scope, that still looks like the original one.
This mod alters the Base scope for the Disruption Rifle. It adds a cross-hair to the center so you can actually see what you are aiming at. It also removes a few shaded sections for improved clarity. There are three versions,
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz_ImprovedScope(No Black Edges).pk3 - Removes the solid black edges from the Base scope, allowing you to see the entire screen rather than a small area in the centre as well as the changes listed above.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz_ImprovedScope(Black Edges).pk3 - Doesn't remove the black edges. Only adds the cross-hair and removes a few shaded areas.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz_ImprovedScope(Semi Transparent Black Edges).pk3 - The black edges have been made semi transparent.
To INSTALL the mod, place the chosen pk3 it into your gamedata/base folder. If this doesnt work, also add it to
your gamedata/japlus, clanmod, etc folders for every game mod you play on.

Smaller Character Menu Icons

Description:
Placing this pk3 in your Base folder will adjust the size of the icons displayed in the model selection screen of Jedi Academy both at the main menu and during gameplay. I personally find that less scrolling is better. If you decide to try out this modification, please bare in mind that this pk3, whilst in your Base folder, will not work if you are playing in a multi-player mod that alters the ui/JAMP/player.ui file.

57C Holocam Replacement

This mod replaces the default camera model with the 57C holocam model seen in the movies. I haven't noticed any frame rate drops, but due to the more complex geometry some lag might occur on slower machines. Aside from that I haven't noticed any bugs. I haven't tested it with Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, but given that the model paths are the same it should work with it as well. To install, unpack the file z_57C.pk3 into your GameData/Base folder. To uninstall, remove the file z_57C.pk3 from the GameData/Base folder.

Mass Effect 3 HUD

This HUD is designed to mimic the heads up display from the Mass Effect games - particularly Mass Effect 3. Some tweaks had to be made to make it fit Jedi Academy, so it's not 100% perfect.
The blue section represents your shields. The red portion represents your health. The purple section represents your "biotics" (your Forcee pool, in other words).
While ammunition in ME3 is on the left, I wasn't really able to get the HUD to work with me on that so it's on the right instead, although it uses the same style as it does in ME3. The left, since I didn't have anything good to put there, features an N7 plate which is purely aesthetic.
Lastly the saber style indicator is below the force pool and is fairly easy to see. To avoid confusion I kept the same colors Jedi Academy uses now - blue for fast, yellow for medium, and red for strong. Although really, with this HUD why would you be using sabers? Shoot those geth!
The geth, by the way, is coming soon. Also. The font in the screenshots? Totally included.

SW:TOR Cursor

Jedi Academy Screen Pack

Jakku Name Mod

This is a very tiny mod. What it does is simply change the mission info screens to refer to the first mission (the Tatooine mercenaries one) as if it takes place in Jakku instead of Tatooine.
References to Tatooine and Mos Eisley were changed for that mission in the text. Also 2 voice lines referring to Tatooine/Mos Eisley were edited so they don't say it.
There's an extra planet circle in the galaxy screen and the planet photo is different too but I didn't animate it, sorry.
I thought this made sense since the Millenium Falcon is parked there (this could be when Han loses it?) and since Jakku and Tatooine look exactly the same, let's be honest.
I haven't changed anything in the map, the NPCs or the mission itself, maybe I will in a future release.
Let me know if there's some glitch with it.
EDIT: Added an alternative pk3 which makes it replace Blenjeel instead.

Alternate HUD
I didn't care for the original HUD in Jedi Academy, it seemed a bit busy. This was actually one of my first mods, trying to change the HUD. For some reason I'm only just now getting around to uploading it. So yes, the HUD is a bit more simplified, and I also changed the "Use Item" image so it doesn't have the Mario glove-looking hand, and instead just a circle and "Use". I feel this makes it look better...
This doesn't replace the HUD for vehicles though, just the usual one.

Lightning Effects
This mod alters the visual effect of Force Lightning. The effects are loosely based on the PS3 game InFamous, but altered sufficiently to work effectively within JKA. Levels 1 and 2 use a single bolt of lightning launched from the hand, whilst level 3 calls down a large lightning strike from above.
This is not the final iteration of this mod, and further versions will be incorporated as part of the Medium of Darkness mod ( http://www.moddb.com/mods/medium-of-darkness ). Progress can also be viewed at http://forums.filefront.com/sw-jk3-modding-mapping-editing/405839-force-effects-etc.html

The Jedi Academy Texture Overhaul 0.2.1 - Taspir

Hello again fans of JKA!
No I'm not dead, nor is this mod: I'm proud to announce that the Taspir level retexture is now completely finished and uploaded as a seperate pack.
I added a better version of every wall/ground/object/rock/metal plate (etc.) texture of at least double the resolution of the original, and the filesize went right up to about 210mb because i added a TON of detail to the original blurry textures.
Also I tried to enhance the look and feel of Taspir by choosing custom lava and rocky terrain textures throughout all parts of the level, and by adding way more scratches and grain to all original textures to achieve a more realistic look.
I went with a new approach this time, I wanted to keep the original atmosphere and stay faithful to the original texture design so i kept nearly all textures but improved them as far as i could, adding scratches, noise, grain, dots and more details. I'm very happy how this turned out and will use this workflow for future releases too in combination with my usual approach of swapping unrealistic textures with photorealisitc ones.
Please let me know what you think - is this the way to go for future packs too? This would result in a real "Hi-Rez-Retexture", although my original idea was to also change textures with more "real" looking ones. Feel free to contact me via PM!
Here are some screenshots showing some examples of the retexture. Please look at them in full resolution otherwise the differences are not as clear.

Fallout HUD for JKA

This mode attempts to recreate the Fallout 3/NV HUD for JKA. In this release, there is a total of versions to choose from.
Six of them are mono-color: the HUD is simply one color (or gradient) and makes no colored distinction between the various elements of the HUD (HP, Shield, Force, Ammo and Stances are all the same color). The colors are amber, blue, green, red, purple and white.
The _jka version takes the Fallout HUD and color codes it with the same colors found in the default HUD: red for health, green for shield, etc.
HP stands for health;
CND stands for shield;
AP stands for force power;
-/ stands for ammo;
FST stands for fast/blue style;
MED stands for medium/yellow style;
STR stands for strong/red style.

Far as I know all the animations used for emotes in JA+ do not utilize base animations for fighting in MP, but a few may possibly do so. As such if you run into conflictions, you have been warned.
All emotes that I tweaked, that are used by JA+ are now bracketed at the bottom of the _humanoid list(check it out if you're curious).
The new custom animations are also bracketed below those for anyone who is curious what specific animations were changed.
JA+ humanoid pk3 file in base and if you have one in the JA+ folder itself, replace it with this one. It's that easy. Place a copy pk3 of the one you use/original in the gamedata folder incase you don't like the changes and want an easy way to revert back to what it was before.
Before anyone asks, no you can't download my model. Don't bug me about it.
Only things changed were what was listed above. All else is exactly the same.

Mass Effect Scope Replacement

This is a replacement graphic for the disruptor scope. It will change your sniper scope to look like that of a variety of sniper rifles from Mass Effect 2 and 3. It's not a seamless replica, but it's very close given what Jedi Academy has to work with.
This mod will be included with any Mass Effect sniper rifles I release (that replace the disruptor, of course). If you download any of those mods go ahead and delete this PK3, as it'll be redundant.

Modified Saber Lengths

This mod's purpose is to make the saber lengths for staffs in JKA more realistic. Anyone who has done saber modding should know that the default length for a staff blade is 32, while single sabers get a whopping 40.
This mod will simply make all base staffs have a saber length of 40 as well. That's really all it does. Simple, but it does what's advertised.

I tested this map on a clear version of JKA.
So if there are still some unexpected bugs contact me personally or in the forums i mentioned above. But i hope that won't be necessary ;P
You are allowed to use textures/shaders/effects for your own projects - IF THEY ARE NON-COMMERCIAL!
