CHANGES AND ADDITIONS FOR V2 :

-File size has been reduced by converting the TGA textures to JPEG/PNG files

The only sentient sword in the game "Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn". Sadistic, bloodthirsty and "slightly" insane, Lilarcor served as a comic relief of sorts, constantly spewing comments and suggestions to kill nearly anything that breathed. I couldn't have the sword in JA do anything less than that, now could I? It was originally meant to be a part of a model pack, but I'm still getting the hang of the entire soft-body modeling thing.

Crappy Weapon Pack

A crappy weapon pack I made a while back. I personally think these weapons are all crap, but some other people seem to like some of them, so here they are!
Included are seven weapons, four of which were requests. Here's some basic info about each, from left to right in the file's screenshot:
The first was a personal saber, and one of the first weapons I've ever made for JKA. The second was a request for a very plain saber, hardly anything more than a tube. The third was another request for a sword-hilt-like saber, and one of my favorites from this pack. The fourth was my take on a request for a weird looking saber. Fifth is a sword that a friend requested. Sixth and seventh are just random weapons I created because I was bored. I tried to do something new and add scratch details to the weapons, but that turned out quite badly, IMO. Quite evil looking, though!

Obi Wan Kenobi's ROTS saber

(Please note - This is a re-release and as such some of the readme content is old and outdated)
This is a HIGH detailed, mostly accurate rendition of the popular lightsaber design. I saw some other variations out there, and they were good. But I knew I could do better since I made a perfect, 1:1 scale digital replica (using lightwave 3D) of my Master Replicas Limited Edition RotS Obi Wan saber. So using that digital replica as a template, I proceded to model a version for Jedi Academy. And I can say that due to limitations , it isn't 100% accurate, but the differences are BARELY noticable. This is without a doubt (belive me, I looked around) The most detailed version of this saber ever released.
I have included 2 versions of this saber. One with traditional texture mapped "reflection" effect, which I personaly think looks much better. And one version that is reflection mapped for those who prefer that. I think they both look good, but I personaly like the consistant look of the original since the reflection map effect often looks odd and unnatural.

Replaces the original orange saber to
make them look like TFU black saber.
Not quite TFU quality, but it's
better than nothing. Also changes
the saber effects and trails, they're shorter
and less spammy. They actually look
better in my opinion. This backhand saber is twice
as powerful than original one.

These work better with high-performance
machines, better FPS yields a better
effect. I estimate that at least a
rate of 90 FPS is required for a
decent effect.

Well I won't lose too many words about it as it's a simple and straight-forward mod, it brings you Zayne Carrack's lightsaber from the comic book series.
Initially, this was a request from one of my best buddies 'round here, Hidden Bek. Now, I've wanted to add holstering support and when I downloaded the old
hilt and took a good look at it, I was ashamed I had done something like that and made it public So here's the hilt I'm actually capable of creating.
MP support: Yes!
SP support: Yes! (enable cheats and type into the console these lines: "saber zayne" for the standard saber and "saber carrick" for a little cheat saber I've put together)
Holstering support: Hell yeeah!
Return damage: Yes!
Custom sounds: Nope.

The staff has been made by Zeo after his exile from the Jedi Council. It has been made with really simple materials such as Wood, which is uncommon on lightsabers.
Wood is also for the renewal of his life, it's an organic material, not mineral like metal.

The Dark Saber (JA+ and JA++ Only / with Effects and Sounds)
Note: This saber is only for JA+ or JA++ due to the extra saber features it offers, vanilla cannot render the saber's effects.
Also note the Darksaber effects replace the black saber colour effects. To have the darksaber effects applied to your lightsaber, select the black saber colour on the saber select screen.
The Darksaber was a lightsaber created by the first Mandalorian accepted into the Jedi order. It holds symbolic value to the people of Mandalore and is a powerful weapon. During the Clone Wars, Maul, previously known as Darth Maul, acquired it through beating it's wielder at the time, Pre Visla. With the saber, Maul ruled over a majority of Mandalorian clans, until his rule was brought to an end by Darth Sidious. The saber was later acquired by Mandalorian Sabine Wren, and she weld it as a symbol of unity, as she tried to unify the Mandalorian clans and combat the Galactic Empire. After consideration, she passed on the Dark saber to Bo Katan, sister of the previous ruler of Mandalore, and now she wields it against the Empire.
...Until some random spacer (you) ran up to her and punched her in the face, stole the saber and ran away. You are now in control of the historic Darksaber!
The model, textures, and scripts were made by me, however the sound effects were ripped from "The Clone Wars" animated TV series.

Beer on a Stick

Firstly I'd like to say I'm not an alcoholic. That said, everyone's favorite drink is beer -- either because they drink it, or they're underaged and think it's the epitome of alcoholic beverages. To those people -- I do not advocate underaged drinking and you should avoid doing so! To those of you who actually *like* beer and are able to drink it legally, the bottle featured here is the Samuel Adams Octoberfest... because I like it. See the bottom of the read-me if you dislike that brand.
This pack contains four weapons -- two beer bottle weapons and two beer-on-a-stick weapons. Each has a regular bottle version and a broken bottle version. Let the barfights ensue!

Buster Sword (FF12)

This is a model of the Final Fantasy 12 variant of the Buster Sword, as wielded by Gilgamesh in the 'Ancient Man of Mystery' hunt. It is very similar to the Final Fantasy 7 version, but with some minor details. It has been made to look as similar to the original version as possible, given the restrictions of the engine, and I attempted to keep the polycount as low as possible without sacrificing too much of the detail.

Saber Hilts from Star Wars: Republic Commando and Star Wars: Uprising
We have made the decision to allow ported content, but only if at least some custom work has been done on it (like riggin the model properly so it works well in the game, and adding MP icons for it). We don't allow straight ports with absolutely no modification done on them. And it's recommended to credit the original source of the models.- 1
