Shaï, the Cathar Jedi

ROARRR! This is a reskin based on the "silver dragon" model by Manganiac.
I have to explain: one of my friend in my team used to play a cathar jedi with the catz multiplayer model, but felt in love with the silver dragon model.
He thought this model can be taken as a cathar jedi, with a mask (wich correspond very well to his role-play story in fact). I decided to reskin it for his pleasure and mine.
Finally, the result is best than I thought at the beginning and it seems like a real cathar .
I have only adapt the skin, change some textures colors and gave it new textures from tiger, panther, bear, jaguar, etc.
I hope you'll have the same pleasure to play with that I had to make it. THe first version was made in 2008, updated in 2016.
Shaders are home made .

Shiva

* Skins : Shiva is a Hindu god if you don't know! I reskined jedi_tf to make them. there are many you can chose from the
player setting menu, it's more like a matching game though.
* Weapons : Shiva use Ice Cube as weapon. No not those you put in drinks! They look like snow flakes.
Also Shiva has a pair of solid swords, claws, and a staff. All weapon = custom models + saber effects!
To Install
1) Unzip and place " BB_Shiva_Skin.pk3 " *a skin file
" BB_Shiva_Wep.pk3 " *weapon file
" BB_MENUS_2.pk3 " *saber menu script
into your Jedi Academy base folder: StarWars JediKnight Jedi Academy/GameData/base
2) Open "CHOSE ONE" folder inside the zip, and chose one of them:
" BB_Shiva_MP " for Multi Player game (MP).
or " BB_Shiva_SP " for Single Player Game (SP).
and place it into /base folder. DO NOT place both.
That's all ! for the rest files and discriptions read below
Bugs and Compatibility :
I found the menu script for player menu and saber menu seems always conflict with each other.
So if you have other saber mod or new species mod with menus in your base folder, you might see like no names or
no images on the custom sabers. My menu scripts are in those named "BB_MENUS.pk3" files alone, you can remove
them without touching the weapon files.
The Shiva skin " BB_Shiva_Skin.pk3 " is a stand-alone file as well if you only want to keep the skins.
About graphics, the skins and effects are tested excessively so there should be no floater. But your machine will decide
what you see so I can't tell you what you should see but no I don't have the best nor old graphic card no no.
There are 2 shiva skins that have bright glow effect. If you try to mix it's body part with the other none glow leg skins.
You will see some disappearing texture. So don't mix it. Or do! and laugh at it.

if you are going to equip them in dual, watch out there is for right hand and left hand.

Persia and India. You can dual it as well like Shiva Swords. there is no right or left.
Staff ice2 *Ice Cube 2, a staff with 2 ice cubes.
Staff svst *Shiva Staff, yes it's very weird shaped staff. it's also a type if weapon that's from India
area. I just can't remember the name. It's usually build with a pair of sharp animal horns.

There are 2 models, jedi_adsm (version with mandalorian helm), and jedi_adsms (version with hair rather than helm).
The first model has 2 head varients, head_a1, the helm, head_a3, no helm or hair.
The second model has 8 head varients, _a1 sintra white hair, _a2 sintra black hair, _a3 no hair, _a4 white tintable, _a5 black tintable, _a6 ginger, _a7 white reverse tint, _a8 black reverse tint.
You get 3 basic suit colours (lightside bluegreen, neutral gray, darkside black), in 3 slightly different cuts (baremidriff & shoulders, bare shoulders, full suit), with a choice of 3 different skin tones (lightside, darkside, and extreme sith queen). This makes up the 27 torso variations, torso_a1a - torso_c3c, first letter the colour, numder is the cut, last letter the skin tone. The suits are all playerchoice/mp-team colour tintable.
There is also a 'bonus' suit colour, used for the hoth outfit, and available as an icon selection on the standard MP character selection screen, the Galaxy's LEAST stealthy holofield stealth suit... Just a bit of fun that's great in snowstorms...
There are 8 lower variations, lower_a1 - lower_a4, 2 holsters, right holster, left holster, no holsters, all with the jetpack. The _b1 - _b4 variations are without the jetpack.
So, from the MP console, "model jedi_adsms/head_a2|torso_a2a|lower_b4" whould give you black hair, lightside suit with bare shoulders, no holsters or jetpack.
Custom 'saber' hilts. You get 3 hilts, Sintra Darkforce, a light girly single saber, the Aesthetic Single Saber, and the Aesthetic Dual Saber. The Aesthetic Dual is also available in a 'Darklance Asymetrical Sith Assault Saber' configuration. The 'Aesthetic' saber hilts feature playerchoice/team colour tinting and animated lights so they colour co-ordinate with your outfit.
For Single Player use, console commands are:
saber sintra_darkforce (Single Hilt)
saber ad-aesthetic (Single Hilt)
saber ad-aesthetic-dual (Staff Hilt)
saber ad-aesthetic-dl (Staff Hilt - Darklance)
Darklance Saber Varients - Asymetrical Staff Saber. Blade lengths 36/18 (thats a total of 54, shorter than a standard staff saber). Does slight increased damage on the main blade, slightly more on the short back blade. The ready stance, kata and special moves are non standard (practice BEFORE that important duel).
There are 4 bots included, each with improved weapon skills, force powers, and speed, and each further toward the Dark Side, and 4 NPC's for SP play (open the console 'npc spawn Padawan-Sintra' or Jedi-Sintra or Sith-Sintra or Darth-Sintra). The NPC's definition file is in a separate pk3, in case you have too many npc's installed (eg. you get the message 'cannot spawn npc weequay' in SP mode).

This is a small pack of reskins of the Quinlan Vos model. Some textures come from an old Sharad Hett skin. They were originally based on a fanfiction I was writing.
Some of the skins have glowing red eyes that are shadered, others have serpent eyes with a sort of "Dani Filth" look to them. Please note that, like most of my skins, these were released when I was still fourteen to sixteen. As such, they're not the highest quality, and the readmes are pretty atrocious. Alas, I have since retired from JA modding since 2006.

The settings have been changed only for the vanilla version and some other modifications. For this mod, I didn’t touch the configuration, I just changed the permissions and FOV. In any case, thanks for the information. I will adjust the configuration settings -

We have made the decision to allow ported content, but only if at least some custom work has been done on it (like riggin the model properly so it works well in the game, and adding MP icons for it). We don't allow straight ports with absolutely no modification done on them. And it's recommended to credit the original source of the models.- 1
