JediNoob R2D2 Reskin

I haven't seen many reskins for the default r2d2 (not including reskins used to create other Astromechs,) and the Raven/LucasArts version was starting to look a little dated. I released a similar skin with my 'Unofficial Update' mod, but wanted to go a step further - including better shaders, and animated glow effects. I used clips from the movies (both from video and YouTube,) Google images, and even a prior encounter with the original costume/prop as references when working on the textures - in an effort to be as faithful to R2's various on-screen appearances as possible. I also included the sounds from my prior release with this one. Just a heads-up: this reskin does replace the original Ravensoft textures (in case you're a fan of the default skin.)

Apart from this we've made new Botfiles, new NPCs and a SP menu. Finally we've fixed the sounds niveling the volume of all the files and deleting some of them.

RandomAstromechs

Makes the R2D2 and R5D2 droids spawn with random colors, always white bodies however. If this gets popular I will change that so the body is random as well. This does not effect the imperial versions. Use for whatever you want! Don't need permission to use but tell me if you use it so I can see and link your work. Anyways just a pk3 file so it doesn't overwrite anything, just delete it to get the original droids back. Also let me know what else hasnt received a RGB color treatment. I noticed a few mods like this for other models but not for droids. Still reading this? Why? Just download or leave you're wasting time. Well if you want use the console to change your playermodel to r2d2 for astromech adventures, minus the ability to do anything but roll.
Now get version 2! I'm leaving this one up incase someone prefers the simpler textures. Maybe so they can make there own droid?

Weapon List
Entry names and descriptions for the weapons:
cane * fire cane. SP version has fire effect when activated. MP version doesn't.
cane_mp * "cane_mp" is for MP use
chan * chandelier! with flash effect. do not turn off it while throwing! it crashes sometimes in my game :/
chan_mp * MP version, no flash effect. all MP version weapons has no blade effects.
cloak_b * blue cloak. wrist attached type of weapon. and only for left arm.
cloak_r * red cloak. in SP, only appears as the 2nd(left hand) dual saber on the saber menu.
cloak_bk * black cloak.
rapier * rapier
rapier_s * "rapier short", a shorter rapier. only appears as the 2nd(left hand) dual saber on the saber menu.
rapier_skull * the hand guard shaped like a skull.
violin_R * a set of violin, "violin_R" goes to right hand, "violin_L" goes to left.
violin_L * in SP, "violin_L" only appears as the 2nd(left hand) dual saber on the saber menu.
violin2_R *a white colored version of violin.

cello_R *a set of cello. equip them as the same as the violins.

To spawn NPCs:
In a single player game, hit "SHIFT" and "~" key to open up console,
type in "helpusobi 1" and hit ENTER to activate cheats.
Type "npc spawn kyle" and ENTER, that will spawn a Kyle. Change the name for any NPC.
Hit "SHIFT" and "~" again to exit console.

shadowtrooper/rgb => Simple shadowtrooper, but you can switch the color of the crystal with console commands.
shadowtrooper/fxrgb => Shadowtrooper with recolorable lightning effect.
Usage:
You can recolor the crystal and the lightning effect with 3 console commands:

Even though I redrawn Rosh's head, in my opinion it still looks a little damp. I already know what and how to improve, but for now I’m busy with other things. Once I'm done with them, I'll show you the final version. Or I’ll even publish a finished retexture of the entire model. But I don’t want to show the earlier version- npc support

The character models turned out great. Jayden and Rosh looked very pretty. Compared to them, Kyle looks simpler, but also very fresh. Once I saw this art and also thought about creating such clothes. But implementing this from standard models was sometimes difficult, and sometimes impossible. I'm not a modder and I can't make such models. But then I finally figured out how to retexture it. For now, Rosh’s head has been updated, and I’m still thinking about his clothes) If I release his retexture, maybe someday I’ll be able to appear in the thank you lists- 2

Langerd's Reborn Remake Pack
Would it be possible to make a version that reskins the cultists in Jedi Academy to the JKII reskins that are part of this pack? I love the look for the New Reborn but the "lower tiers" of Jedi Academy enemies would also look so much better with the updated skins. Essentially, if the original orange and green cultists from JKA could be reskinned with the orange and green models from your JK2 versions, that would be perfect! -
