    So if there are still some unexpected bugs then you have broken shaders/assets in your base folder.

    If you may already recognized is Duel Carbon JA a re-creation of JKII's duel_carbon, which i loved to play and so i decided to do rebuild that map and make it even a little bit better than the original.
     
    So all credits go to Raven Software, who developed this map.
     
    To achieve this I first rebuild it just from seeing old duel_carbon and not copying any material out of the .map. After that I made the lightning which was terrible in the original the map also supports the glow effect. Next thing was the interactivity and u know in Arevass there wasn't much of this so I decided to put something in here:
     
    1st there is the carbon grapper that can be lift up
    2nd u can switch some of the lights on/off
    and 3rd you can blow up many things.
     
    I know thats not too much but maybe it makes fun and gives the map more realism.
     
    OK that should be enough
     
    put the .pk3 file into your 'JediKnight:JediAcademy/GameData/base' folder

  8. Imperial Starship Bridge

    I designed this map as a small, contained, but highly detailed depiction of the bridge of an unpsecified Imperial starship. The layout of the map is very simple but it should be an enjoyable duel map. Look for little details like coffee mugs at some of the work stations and several forced-perspective starships beyond the viewports. I may expand the map in the future to include other portions of the ship.

    Perilous Free-for-All battles or duels in the cavernous power core of the Merr Sonn Corporation's space station.
     
     
    This map is unusually small for FFA matches, and is best played with 2-4 players. Bot support is provided, but they would do well to develop a fear of heights.
     
    For dueling purposes, those wanting a larger dueling area should activate the force field to create a larger arena. For quick escapes or rapid transit, explore the boost pads and airjet tubes. Also, beware the energy beam projector and power conduits!

  15. Secluded Alcove

    Thanks for stopping by to check out my map! Intending to polish off the construction of an old project, I wound up creating some extra modifications resulting in this update! Firstly, we no longer have the blocks that rise and fall with Push and Pull. Instead we have a gaping pit in the centre of the arena, so watch your step! I've sacrificed the secret area in this release. It may return in the future, or something entirely new may appear in its former place if I come back to it. Who knows! The music has also undergone a change. Bastila Shan's theme is no more! It has been replaced by a track from the Base assets, better suited for a duelling atmosphere. This also greatly reduces the file size for a friendlier download! The map also includes bot support, so if desired you may enjoy offline multiplayer without bots jumping about left, right and centre!
     
    I've chosen to distribute this as a new file without overwriting the old one, just in case there are still those who prefer their duelling maps pit-less.
     
    The map can be accessed by entering the following command: "/devmap mp/duel_custom1" or, via the menus under the Duel and Power Duel categories if you're playing a solo game.
     
    Thanks for downloading. Don't forget to let me know what you think in the section below! If you experience any issues whilst using this map, please do not hesitate to drop me a message. I can't do anything about bugs if I don't know that they're there! Lastly, feel free to offer up any suggestions for the map if you have them.

  16. Sith Lords Clan Coliseum

    This is the Coliseum part of what will be a large clan map for the Sith Lords Clan. It is a rather basic FFA map because I just started to map about 4 days ago. There is a skin(RevanSL_v3) included in this map file because there is an NPC spawner that points to that npc and I didn't want anyone lagging off any servers because they didn't have that model. As far as textures go I used all in game textures mainly Korriban, there are a few custom textures. I must give credit to Octavious for making the banners.

  17. Byss NPC Room

    Description:
     
    This was a small map built as something of a challenge to myself. The entire thing was built in a day, the map, npc files and the .sabs they use - all in a few hours! I really enjoyed trying out the Byss theme, so let me know what you think of the results! If you encounter anything unusual, any bugs, feel free to drop me a message and I'll see what can be done about 'em. The map itself is a single room with a viewing window into outer space. Two consoles occupy the room which trigger unique .npc files which use the Boss Reborn skins. Watch out, as they've been issued unique Lightsabers which give them a little bit of an edge sometimes!
     
    The music playing in the background of the level is Ahto City, composed by Jeremy Soule from the first KotOR soundtrack. Everything else uses Base materials. Enjoy!

    Odd though it may seem, the inspiration for this map actually came from The Academy V2, by Virtue, whom I'd like to tip my hat to. To this day, every so often I'll spend a few hours in the NPC room there. I love the atmosphere of the level, and so I took the concept and applied a different theme, which happened to be Byss in the end. Weird, huh?

    Ok this is a map that I was working for STVOY as a single player mod - I just came up with a few ideas for the change to a MP starwars map - I think it worked out jsut fine, its not that big but then I had planed to make it into a duel only, now is does both. Hope you like it

    Heres a duel map based of taris.
    its buidlt from the mixture of ingame screenshots and some concept art images.
    it has two reachble platforms and some reasonable duel space.
    Theres also 3 speeders, 1 flying above map, 1 landing and taking of main platform a
    nd the last one is hovering beetween two platforms.
    i did the layout with my own original touch seeing as i never played kotor before.
    there's some elevators on some of the buildings..ride them if you wish O_o

    If you installed the game in anther location, the file still needs to go in the "base" folder.

    Hi I"m Dan. I'm the maker of this map
     
     
    I fist started making this map long ago when i was not making maps with gtkradient. This map is a third version of my
    imperial bunker maps. this map includes a new dual area several effects and a few nps that spawn in various of placed.
    This map is a smaller map that dose not take away from frame rate. there are no bugs that i am know of.
     
    Later on i recovered this map from the forgotten de of my hard dive and modified it over the course of 6 to 9 months as
    a side project. School was in session at the time so it took a while. In the end i have this map (which is far from done).
    Now the map include ideas form Star Trek elite force 2. Such as the hydraulic doors.
     
     
    There are many things i have to learn about the world of game mapping but for now this is the cutting edge of my ability.

    also look for my next map due in about 5 moths. When finished it will be similar to the naboohills map and the famous racing
