Halloween 2017 Contest Entry
The living Demon blade Soul Edge - It's alive, it's ever watchful of you, it changes shape in regard to it's wielder and drains his/her life force just as well as from it's victims.
Take out your opponents quickly or it just might be YOU who ends up broken and dead on the ground! MUAHAHAHA, *cough* *cough* okay, i think you get it.
(The blade doesn't actually sap your HP so don't worry, be happy. But it is always looking at you or in your vague direction.)
If you're playing on MP, it first needs to be uploaded to the server of your choice,
otherwise people will see it as kyle's lightsaber and it will also function as such.
Later, simply choose it from the menu and you're good to go.
If you're playing on SP, first open your console with ~ or ¨ (button left of 1, under ESC) and enable cheats with:
helpusobi 1
then type:
saber souledge

TinySabers
TinySabers will make all lightsabers in the game have the shortest possible length. This length is 4.
This makes them look and act more like knives or daggers than swords. It also adds a level of difficulty to the campaign, as you have to get right up on your enemies to kill them.
Known issues:
None that I have found.

Gladius Saber

This is the Gladius Hilt, as requested by one of our members MagSul.
Of course, the saber comes with MP support. For SP, enable cheats with either "helpusobi 1" or "devmapall", then type:
saber gladius
The saber does return damage, meaning that when it returns from a saber throw, it continues spinning whereas other sabers usually don't, as you know.

COMMENTS: All of these weapons are pretty much weak. The weakest things you'll ever fight with, keep that in mind!

One thing struck me with this file. After downloading and installing, the in-game version was VERY different from the screenshots
that came with it. The file was incomplete compared to the screenshots as it had an important SHADER image missing and there
was no texture for the handle.
I have created both files to complete the model!
Before I completed the Saber files, there were several texture issues, which caused various things not to work properly. all now fixed!

Now I have read the Origin Story of this Saber and having "Force Sensitive"

Darth Chratis' Lightsaber Hilt

This is Darth Chratis' lightsaber hilt as seen in a total of one single picture. After a few hours of finding the right tools, learning how to use those tools, and getting around file problems, I was able to create a saber I had requested a little while ago. It's not the greatest thing in the world, and frankly, the textures could use a lot of work. In the future I might enlarge the emitter and make the overall model longer. I also considered significantly lengthening the physical blade, saying it's a vibroblade and making it a double-bladed style hilt, but there would probably be some clipping issues.

It's a hilt that I named Vaeyor. I had a totally different concept idea at the start, but this is what it turned into. There might be another spiked saber out there (Idk, I didn't look), but this one has an .efx file bolted to the saber, sooo you'll be surrounded by red glowiness/sparkles when the saber is active. It was an experiment. This is V2. It's a little better than V1. Please check the readme/changelog for specifics.

Omicron's JA+/JA++ Black Sabre Fix

This is a small fix I made for the JA+ and JA++ black lightsabre blade.
So what's the difference? Well, the black lightsabre will now have a black core and a white 'coloured' bit, which looks better imo. It also makes it easier to see the black sabre now, as it isn't all pitch black, which can help in fights and duels.
This will only in ja+/ja++.
To install, just put the pk3 into your 'japlus' folder, which can be found in your Gamedata folder.
And many thanks to KanGy from the (JAWA) clan for being an awesome beta tester, and for helping me try find any bugs with it.

The Aegis - Recreated

In short, I recreated the Aegis from Jose Carlos, as per request from our community member Ghost576, nothing less, nothing more.
I was also playing around with something new I'll be doing from now on with my mods, but I than quickly wrapped it up and decided to upload it, because I was a few months late with the end product.

DESCRIPTION: The original dual sabers recreated - with additional features, more are to be added in the future!
- New models and textures created from scratch!
- 6 single hilts in addition to the 5 staff hilts, the single saber counterparts of the dual ones
- All sabers have return damage
- Staffs are throwable
- Staff sabers with one blade turned off are not throwable anymore
- Some sabers have slightly lower saber blades, if their hilt is long (in height)
- Broken saber support
- All of them have MP support!
If you wish to play with the single sabers in SP, open up your console, enable cheats with either "helpusobi 1" or "devmapall", then type:
saber single_16 (Guardian single)
saber single_17 (Avenger single)
saber single_18 (Vindicator single)

FUTURE PLANS: This is the first pack I deem completed, at least for now. These models won't be updated anymore, just the textures.
Moving on, I'm gonna start once again modeling the Single Sabers pack and Misc. Sabers pack. Why? To make it good, of course!
What's more, in the future, you'll see 10 additional staff hilts to be added to this pack and 6 hilts to the Single Sabers Pack!

Jedi Academy: Enhanced
Great mod. Introduces some QoLs and modern resolution. However, it also introduces many bugs that alter the experience. VJun2: Kyle gets stuck in ceiling after water pump cutscene and there's no way to skip VJun3: There's a hole in the middle the combat room against Rosh that leads to the cutscene Cult Investigation- Tanaab: This mission is completely screwed. The containers are missing and the room transitions textures are missing.- 1

Jedi Academy PBR Retexture

PBR textures to use with compatible renderers (rend2 in particular). This package covers most of SP textures and some of MP. It also includes reflection probes for SP levels, There are some known issues, especially with md3 normal maps, and please report in comments about any problems you see. Installation Extract two pk3 files to the "base" directory. Note: base color textures override default diffuse textures. As a result, this package makes everything look flat with vanilla renderer. I recommend to install OpenJK with rend2 plus "Setup UI" (or use console commands) to enable reflections, parallax mapping and SSAO. Usage All modders are allowed to use these files in their project without additional permission, but if you fix bugs in my shaders or textures please share them with me to keep this package up to date. -
