  8. Westar Pistol

This is a port of my Westar Pistol model for Knights of the Old Republic. Jango Fett’s iconic weapon is now available in JK3! Be wary, though: if you want to wield two of these bad boys you’ll need a mod that allows you to do this. The model is just a blaster pistol replacement!

  10. N7 Valiant

This is a custom model of the N7 Valiant sniper rifle from Mass Effect 3, which was originally released with the Collector's Edition of the game and then later added to multiplayer for everyone as a possible reward for the game's weekend operations.

This gun took an extensive amount of modeling and, more importantly, texture work to complete. Construction began on June 12th 2012 and completed on February 7th 2013 for an insane build time of almost 7 months. I am easily distracted, which is the only reason it took this long. In other news, I've almost hit 1000 multiplayer games in Mass Effect 3...

This weapon utilizes the same effects files from my Widow/Black Widow model. Keep in mind you may only use ONE of these, as they both replace the disruptor.

  11. T21 Stormtrooper Rifle

    Author: Monsoontide

A high-level rifle favourted by Rifleman Marksmen and Stormtroopers of the Empire,
though the size of a typical Commando weapon this rifle can do as much damage and has a surprisingly fast rate of fire.

  12. TL-50 Heavy Repeater

My first modding contribution to JKA!

This is a simple reskin of the Imperial Heavy Repeater, based on its recent appearance in Star Wars Battlefront. I've also changed its primary fire to shoot normal blaster bolts, and gave it a new sound similar to the Battlefront version. The textures have also been scaled up a bit.

This should work in both Jedi Oucast and Jedi Academy.

You may use and/or modify this however you want, just credit me.

  13. A280 Blaster Rifle

Hey guys! My first from scratch modeling job, I'd say this didn't turn out too shabby! I will say in advance: THIS WEAPON DOES NOT HAVE A 1ST PERSON PERSPECTIVE. This weapon also will replace this Imperial Heavy Repeater.
Anyway, this is the A280 blaster rifle. Some specs:

"During the Galactic Republic's final years, the A280 blaster rifles were commonly used by local planetary forces which made them readily available on the black market, thus the Rebel Alliance acquired them with ease, and began to utilize it throughout their fight against the Galactic Empire.

During the Battle of Hoth, some of the rebel troopers were armed with A280 blaster rifles to hold off the incoming Imperial attackers until the evacuation transports flee away.
Major Lokmarcha used an A280 during Operation Yellow Moon.
The rifles were also used when the Rebel Alliance planned to assault the newly constructed Death Star II by infiltrating the surface of Endor and destroying the Death Star's shield generator."

  14. T-21 Light Repeating Blaster

This is the T-21 light repeating blaster, also known as the T-21 rifle in Star Wars Galaxies (no worries, I didn't base it off of that). It was a large and very powerful blaster used by Stormtroopers. This particular gun replaces the concussion rifle, because based on its description that seemed to be the most realistic replacement. It includes new icons as well as new strings.

  15. DC-17 Blaster Pistol

Hey guys, this file replaces the dull boring DL-44 standard blaster pistol with the new and exciting DC-17 pistol which made a prominent appearance in Dave Filoni's The Clone Wars series. Complete with new sounds (or at least, attempted new sounds), first person perspective, and accurately colored blaster fire. Now then, for some information!

The DC-17 hand blaster, also known as DC-17 blaster pistol, was a heavy blaster pistol wielded by the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. An advanced firearm, it was fielded to elite soldiers in the army, most notably Advanced Recon Commandos, clone trooper commanders, and clone jet troopers.
It shared many similarities with the DC-15s side arm blaster used by clone commandos, being a more powerful variant of the standard DC-15S blaster carbine. Capable of a much higher rate of sustained fire than its predecessors, the commando pistol was known for its efficiency and deadliness. As a result, it was a popular style for the clones that favored it to wield two at a time, as typified by ARC-77 "Fordo" and CT-7567 "Rex".

  18. M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon

The M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon is one of the first really powerful weapons you’ll obtain in Mass Effect 2. Just got to kill a horde of vorcha. Ha. In any case, this upgrades the predator pistol that you start with and despite many other weapon options later in the game I found that the hand cannon stayed in my loadout for the most of the game. Its power more than made up for its small amount of ammunition. Saren also sported a slightly different version of the weapon in the original Mass Effect.

This gun comes with custom sounds, hud images, and strings. It will replace the regular blaster pistol so you’ll have it from the start. Also as a note the two sides of the gun are not simply mirrored so the text will not appear backwards from one side.

Note: There are two files here - an ME2 version and an ME3 version. These guns are IDENTICAL except for the sounds, since ME2 and ME3 have drastically different firing sounds. Use only ONE of these two files. I don't know what happens if you use both. The world might explode.

  19. M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle

I was always fascinated by Mass Effect’s weapons. The fact that you could see them on the character at all times was neat, plus they collapse when you store them! Before you ask, no, I did not do that. I wouldn’t be able to figure out that one even if I tried. However I did attempt to recreate the M-8 Avenger assault rifle as seen in Mass Effect 2 (as pictured below -- not to be confused with the similar but slightly altered M-7 seen in the original Mass Effect).

Due to the limitations with the Quake 3 engine, I made an executive decision to place a higher emphasis on detail than efficiency since the engine lacks the ability to support normal mapping, which most current generation gaming engines not only use, but rely heavily on. As a result this model is fairly high-poly but should provide a level of detail that will make it a pleasure to see the weapon. The model includes first person and third person views and will also include a floating arm in the first person view as requested by the populace.

Note: There are two files here - an ME2 version and an ME3 version. These guns are IDENTICAL except for the sounds, since ME2 and ME3 have drastically different firing sounds. Use only ONE of these two files. I don't know what happens if you use both. The world might explode.

  20. M-98 Widow Anti-Material Rifle

This gun is a custom replica of the M-98 Widow Anti-Material Rifle first introduced in Mass Effect two. Two versions are available - the standard Widow and the Black Widow. There is no difference between these two guns beyond the look. The weapon features custom sounds, strings, firing and projectile effects, and icons.

These two files both overwrite the same gun, so obviously you can only use one at a time. Please select the skin you would like (view the screenshots to see the difference) and place that file in your base folder. You can keep the other file in a subfolder if you want to switch back and forth at some time in the future.

Please note that the Mass Effect Scope mod is included with this file and will not need to be downloaded separately. If you have it already in your base folder you may remove it.

Below is a short video showcasing the new firing effects. Note: There is also now a recoil animation that is not shown in the video below.

    Description:
    +++++++++++++

This is an "upgraded" version of the original flamethrower mod by Dark_Maul. This mod changes the Force Lightning power to a Flamethrower. The changes I have made include adding a new icon to replace the Force Lightning ones (both in-game and in the force menu) as well as changing the description and labels of the Force Lightning powers to reflect the Flamethrower. In the future I hope to remove the lightning effect that occurs when a player is hit by the power as well, possibly replacing it with a fire effect.
