  3. Lady Luck Preffab

    I found an old map file around the same time I heard someone mention the Lady Luck in a post on the forums so I decided to make a small prefab. I believe the ship was decompiled in the mid 2000's placed in a map but never officially released. The map file I had is dated November 2005.
     
    This ship should be better than a rough decompile. I have not gone through and checked the lady luck for this release but I believe I had years ago tried to fix some textures and brushes after a decompile but not much else was done with the ship.

    Although some of these models were created by myself using Radiant, to the best of my knowledge, the vast majority were made by 3DRegenerator, and are free to download from http://tf3dm.com/3d. You are free to use any of these models for personal use provided they are not for financial gain. Please give credit to myself and 3DRegenerator if you decide to use these models in your map. This file will need to be included in your release pk3 as well as your own assets.
     
    A great deal of work has gone into converting, re-texturing, creating shaders and fixing compatibility issues with all of these models - I hope people find them useful. JKA does not have many "prop" or "real-life" models
    available as part of the default packaging, so these models should be useful for anyone attempting to create a more realistic modern environment.
     
    If anyone would like to contribute any models created by themselves, either for JK3 or in radiant as a .ase file, please contact me if you would like them converted to md3 and put into any future releases.

  8. Uncompilable Coruscant Map

    This is my unfinished Coruscant map that will hopefully be featured in my mod, that is of coarse, once I find a way to compile it. If you want to try to get a working .bsp version of this map, feel free to download it. Please let me know if you successfully generate a fully functioning .bsp of the map.

  9. Ebon Hawk Prefab

    This is a prefab of the ship the Ebon Hawk from the game Knights of the Old Republic. While trying to find a prefab or model of the Ebon Hawk for an Ahto City map I'm currently working on, I found that no one had ever released one! So I decided to just make my own. I also decided I would release it so other mappers could use/edit it as well. Unfortunately this prefab is not of the ENTIRE Ebon Hawk, meaning you can't go inside of it. But hey, it looks real nice in a map! And there's no reason you can't make it that way yourself. If you DO want a version of the ebon hawk, interior included, maybe you can convince Sithjcull to let you use the one in his jedi knight galaxies preview map.

  12. Pine Tree Map Object

    I originally intended to do a tree pack, but I really dislike trees in general. I never was a big fan of botany. As a result, all that ever got finished was this pine tree. It is a single pine, which I tried to make as efficiently as possible to reduce unnecessary lag when used. It's very simple, but doesn't look too bad, all things considered.

    This pack contains five map objects, all of which are instruments seen throughout the Star Wars Universe. SWG players will recognize these as instruments from the game, however they are also prominently displayed in film and other EU sources. The nalargon in particular is a mixture of canon and SWG styles. All wind instruments include a straight up and down version, and a leaning version.

  14. KotOR Map Objects

    I love Knights of the Old Republic. It's a great game, and I think it needs some JA lovin'. However I'm very much anti-ports, so I'm hoping these original models, made from scratch over several weeks, will prompt mappers to take the ball into their own court and produce some excellent replicas using their own work.

  15. Medieval Map Objects

    I've always been very interested with medieval and older times. I had at one time dreamt of a mod of such a thing. I've realized that probably won't happen, but in the mean time I felt like releasing these models for public use, in case it spurs some properly themed maps. They are free for use (see Distribution Notes for more info). Bare in mind that certain of the models (targets, campfire, and dummy) are better suited with a modelscale of approximately 1.5. The rest seem adequately sized, unless you prefer a larger tent .

  18. Skyhopper

    A highly accurate Skyhopper prefab I made by scanning in diagrams from "The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" and building around them. Although Essential Guide claims that the Skyhopper is a two-seater, I decided to keep it a smaller single-seater as this is how it is depicted in "The Incredible Locations of Episodes IV, V, and VI." There is a landed version with folded wings and an in-flight version, either of which you may use in your maps. Just be sure to give me credit.

  19. Spinner Cars

    The Spinner Car is a futuristic, flying police car seen in the 1982 sci-fi movie, Blade Runner. This is my attempt to model it for Jedi Academy. It may not look exactly like the one from the movie, but this is about as good an imitation as one can make with a Quake 3 engine. I have also included a civilian version, which lacks the blue color and the blue and red lights typical of police cars.

    This is a pack of two modified versions of the Skyhopper and the normal version. The modified versions I call urban Skyhoppers because one of them, the one without the gun, I originally created for my map 'ffa_corellia,' which is a large urban environment with skyscrapers and various ships.

    This is an approximation of the Cloakshape fighter from the Expanded Universe. It includes the tail-fin used by bounty hunters, but this can be removed very easily to create a 'stock' Cloakshape. You have to use the PK3 because the textures I used are from Jedi Outcast.

  24. Cave Prefabs

    Cave pieces made form brushwork. These can be put together like a model train set, they just need sewed up at the seams.
     
    SUGGESTIONS FOR EFFICIENT USE
    There are several things to cover here, but first and foremost, THANK YOU FOR READING THESE TIPS. They will save you from having HORRIBLE problems later on.
     
    (This is written for GTKRadiant 1.4)
     
    First things first:
    The caves are each part of their own func_group. So by <CTRL + ALT + clicking> on one brush, you will select that entire section. Very easy to move things around.
     
    Second:
    As stated above, there are a few brush faces that don't match. They're not a big deal.
     
    Third:
    DO NOT GET RID OF THE NON-FOUND TEXTURE!
     
    When you go to make your caves, TURN OFF TEXTURE LOCK. You can save yourself a LOT of trouble by doing this!! The reason for this is, when you are done with the caves, you can texture them up with the following steps:
    Open the textures > find/replace window.
    Click in the "Find" typing box.
    Ctrl+shift click one of the "shader not found" textures.
    Find out the path and name for what you want to actually use for the caves.
    Put that in the "Replace" typing box.
    Tell it to replace them.
    You're done, and they're all aligned properly! How beautiful is that?? :>
