    "Gnosis" is the 7 month map project of Mooku, leader of the (>+<) Revelation clan.
    This map features a central hub and individual zones for the elements of Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Light, and Darkness. The central theme is "Balance In All Things."
    Each zone is accessed from the central hub via teleporters that visually represent their respective zones.
    Zone Descriptions
    Air - Open, cloudy, windy sounds, wind slingshot effect if one falls off a platform, semi clear dueling arena in middle
    Water - Pristine, Calming, Water sounds, Opportunities for Swimming Practice, Duel ring surrounded by water
    Earth - Earthy, Stone duel ring upon a grassy hill, bar and fight club inside the terrain
    Fire - The Floor is Lava, watch your step, don't die, and Features The High Ground
    Light - Jedi feel, crystal cave, semi hidden council chamber
    Dark - Sith feel, Dark tomb, bones and coffins everywhere, hidden council chamber

    Hi! I'm taking part in your Halloween! I have long wanted to make a map from Unreal Tournament 99.
    Story: The Peragus was not a well researched planet. In the depths of planet, ancient civilizations created temples of light and darkness. The power of the surrounding temple is so great that after the explosion the temples were left unharmed. They time after time call adepts of light and dark side of force in eternal battle.

    Map - The Jedi Temple On Coruscant Anniversary/Knightfall Edition Early ALPHA VERSION 0.25

    Details - An early alpha of a 1:1 scale recreation of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. It should be noted this is only about 3 weeks of work and I will from here on be posting monthly updates of the map as time goes by. 
    The map at the moment includes the exterior (rooftop unfinished) and the (unfinished) great hall. MUCH MORE to come! I plan to represent every area of the jedi temple we've seen in either the movies or clone wars series. There will be several variations, Dusk or Knightfall is this one, Dawn will be a hazy morning heavy fog with light rain, and a dramatic evening of course. Please note all textures/models are early stage place holders. 
    This map is being designed for vanilla users and Rend2 users.
    Bug's - None that I'm aware of.
    Permissions. None currently, lemme finish before you start using stuff from it or doing things with it. XD
    Credits -  Somaz, I borrow some of your bespin reborn assets and tweaked them to play around with and learn the process and showcase what it can do even under different light levels and map size with no cost and great effect!

  9. Cathedral

    Version 3 of my Cathedral map, The set up was more inspired from Tenchi Muyo with the OVA series main villian Kagato's ship. the sheet music on the organ is still the actual sheet music for that organ peice, the track playing is the Church theme from Baiten Kaitos, personally the song fits very nicely, the map, is smaller then its V2 counterpart, mosty due to complaints of its former size, the ceiling is still tall and far away. the map was the first use of candle type lights for me.

    A small arena in a mountain environment. I started to work on this map around 2013 and it was supposed to be a map for a clan but development had long breaks through the years. As I was participated in Secret Santa 2016 it gave me the final push so with a few modifications I decided to give this map to Redsaurus.
    Doors and counters can be operated by buttons in the middle platform.

  18. Tatooine Streets

    This is a simple map I made to showcase the custom Search and Destroy gametype I am working on. Figured I would release it as an FFA/Duel/PowerDuel/TFFA map too as it is a pretty decent map all round now that it is finished. Consider it a teaser of the SD version.
     
    The map is set at night and has all the standard guns, pickups and ammo dotted about.

  19. The New Academy

    BACKSTORY: Long ago a group of force users where wandering through the jungle on Yavin 4 when they encountered some ancient ruins. They decided to use the large amount of materials there to build their own academy. During the excavations of the ruins they discovered an area of extremely high force energy littered with graves. Not wishing to disturb the site they left it in place and simply built around it and in time all that was left of the old ruins was a small patch of rubble and some ancient graves. This patch of ground became known as the old academy with the new construction simply being referred to as the new academy.
     
    DESCRIPTION:
     
    The name of the bsp file is "kof_new_academy" for changing to it on your server. So to change to it you would do "/changemap <mode> kof_new_academy" or just vote for it if the server supports it.
     
    This map supports the following gamemodes: FFA, TFFA, DUEL, POWERDUEL, CTF, CTY
     
    This map also supports bots.
     
    This is version 2.2 of the new academy. Want to play the previous versions? Well you cant because they where only released clan wide and besides they suck compared to this version.
     
    This is a clan map and is the first map I have publicly released. The map features the following areas:
     
    Main entrance - Everyone spawns at the main entrance. From here you can teleport instantly to any of the fighting areas if they have already been accessed meaning you don't have to run a long way every time you die.
     
    Garden - This is a large garden area where you can relax and chill out after a long days duelling. There is a pool where you can go for a swim and a barbeque area.
     
    Old academy ruins - The ruins of a previous academy that was built on the site. I made this area as a memorial to my former Jedi academy clan which alas through a cruel twist of fate largely no longer plays Jedi academy.
     
    Small arena - A small arena for duelling in. Features spectator stands, adjustable lighting and a large screen TV to watch ceremonies on.
     
    Meditation room - A room where you can go to meditate and reflect on the mysteries of the unknown.
     
    Ceremony room - A room for doing rank-up ceremonies in. To work this room the lead player should stand on the centre pillar, that's the pillar 4 places from either side. The lead player can then use the "use" button to make the pillars go up and down and once they are up they can use either attack button to fill any empty pillars with a hologram so you always get a full circle during ceremonies. For dramatic effect I have found its best to draw your saber with the secondary attack button as with the barriers you wont actually throw your saber and this has the effect of drawing your saber and activating the holograms at the same time.
     
    Large arena - A large arena for doing large battles in. This arena features a 360 degree spectator area and adjustable lighting. The walls can also be lowered to make the arena even bigger! The arena can also be transformed to turn the middle area into a multi level duelling area and the outer area into a swoop racetrack.
     
    Training room - This is a room for training in. Like all the fighting areas it also features adjustable lighting. You can spawn npc's in this room to duel against with level 1 being an easy npc up to level 4 which is a very tough npc. There is also a kill button to kill everyone in the training pit in case someone fills it with npc's and the server starts lagging or nobody can get in without dieing. A siren will go of for ten seconds before everyone gets killed so if your in the training pit and you hear a siren get out fast!
     
    High level training tower - This is a tower designed to let strong players fight each other in a dangerous environment. The higher you go the more dangerous it gets! This tower doesn't feature adjustable lighting, what you see is what you get!
     
    Secret areas - there are numerous secret areas in the map, these are: Tower of testing, disco button, The sky top bar, council room and dungeons. See if you can find them all!

  20. Home of the Order of the Grey Wolves

    These 3 maps are mainly the same the only differences are in the weather (thus textures and lighting).
    The maps are supporting role play activities for JA+ commands by this I mean there is a control room (teleport coordinates: 4672 -3472 2384) which from you can make most of the models solid/unsolid (solid by default), you can start tie-attack run, or X-wing "show", there is a firework (not that good). You can play at night or in the day light (you only have to push a button..). You can make a shuttle to land outside. You can add some NPCs, with a push of a button (also adds R2D2 in the hangar). You can order a sith attack (NPCs). You can put the map into security lock down mod, you can discover dark forces(in front of the guests room there is a place on the floor what you can destroy with saber) on the map, or go(erm swim) to the shrine (only with force speed or teleport). You can have a swoop race in the garage.
     
    This files contains:
    ogw_home.bsp - sunny weather (has FFA; DUEL; POWER DUEL; and TDM support)
    ogw_home_strom.bsp - rainy weather (has FFA and CTF support)
    ogw_home_winter.bsp - snowy weather, with matching textures and some christmas decoration

    *Halloween Contest 2017 Entry*
    This is a smallish maze map with some cemetery elements thrown in because why not. It's definitely geared towards MP gameplay; Idk what you'd do with it in SP. There are some hiding places with pickups scattered around, as well as some breakable things. Hit things, spam your use button, and walk into things and eventually you'll find the secrets.
     
    Bugs and other things:
    -The fog doesn't exactly play nice with the sky, but it's a minor issue.
    -The ground is loud. If you're going for stealth, crouch-walk to avoid making noise.
    -Map is dark... of course.
    -I have included the .map file.

  23. Last Night

    This is a Halloween-themed map, created for the JKHub Halloween Contest 2016. It's very much incomplete. I didn't have time to spend too much time on it. There are some little secrets that you can find. The Use key is your friend (or enemy).
     
    I may actually finish it later on. This does have everything it needs to be playable, and is available for FFA, TFFA, Duel, and Power Duel. It also has bot routes.

    Lots. Trees can be walked through. Probably some brush glitches here and there. Skybox is crap. Lots to fix.
     
    Much love and thanks to Rooxon for creating all the cool models you see in the map, like the pumpkin, shovel, pickaxe, etc. I think his items turned out better than the map itself.

    What is different in version 1.16:
    -Fixed the many issues (there are no more texture issues)
    -opened up a previously closed off hallway
    -resized certain brushes
    -added an additional saber_training_dummy
    -added textures for a HD sky! this new sky really brightens the map
     
    set not long after man's discovery of the force, and the creation of the "Order of the Force," this once renowned temple has long been forgotten, nature having taken hold, the elements battering it over the many years - only ruins remain. Outside the temple, is the tournament grounds, and it is here that the Order's initiates would battle one another for the right to be trained by the Grand Master. The temple//castle has many different floors and a few hidden secrets to find ! Looping level design makes it a perfect Deathmatch style map

  25. Forgotten_City

    I made this map purely for my own personal passion for Final Fantasy 7. The map is based on a location in FF7 that is infamous in gaming history but that’s going down spoiler territory so anyone who has played the original FF7 should recognize this location pretty quick. I took a long break from mapping due to college classes and thought making something small would be a great way to get a refresher in mapping.
    Map Features:
    Buttons:
    Four buttons clearly marked allow for changing the main fighting area to change.
    1: Spectator stands
    2: Wall
    3: Pilon
    4: Overhead cross 
    One button on the lower floor turns on some platforms and balls of water mad specifically for jump challenges in the map.
    There is one hidden button somewhere in the map where if ya push it and then jump to the small material orb in the water, it will teleport ya high in the sky. Serves three purposes… 1: obvi FF7 reference 2: a quick way to start the extremely hard jump challenge. 3: Alt way to center pad in all game modes. Starts in off position at start of map…can be toggled on or off.
    Last there are three secret buttons in an area outside the main map. Only way to reach this is with an extremely difficult strafe jump. The jump is made with 125 FPS users. Corner of landing area will TP you to the secret area. Other ways is obvi with grapple or noclip/use teleport coordinates.
    Jump challenges: There are six total designed jump challenges all different ranges of difficulty. Only one jump has a reward room, the jump using the water balls reward is reaching the highest point in the map. The others are just for challenge sake/fun.
    1: Jump only on broken pillars in a full circle with out falling in the water (easy)
    2: Climb to top of bell tower (easy)
    3: Use unbroken round pillars with half a sphere on top to circle around the arena. (hard)
    4: Climb bell tower only using the bell tower itself. Start of jumps from center arena. (Very Hard)
    5: Use water jump glitch and D-swing Boost to reach highest point of map (Very Hard)
    6: From elevated platform jump off crystal to triangle glass in open are to corner glass in the map. (Extremely hard)
    (Will post diagram of jumps on JKhub to more easily see what im talking about…I prob suck at explaining what these jumps are lol)
    Water jump glitch:
    JKA for some odd reason has a cool trick not many people know about where if you jump into water using full jump (J1,J2,J3 <Force level), and you KEEP holding jump while falling into the water never letting it go. When you swim to the surface you will shoot out of the water the same hight as the speak of your jump regardless from how high up you are. If you never let go of jump and fall in water again, you can repeat the same jump height again and again. The only thing stopping you is if your feet touch the ground. If your feet touch the glitch will no longer work. This makes getting around the map interesting and sometimes invilves prior planning. 
    Some jumps require knowing how to a RDFA Cancel D-Swing Boost. It’s a trick in JKA where you can double your jump height boosting off a slope surface less than 90 degrees. There are many variations to do this trick so ill explain the basic D-Swing one.
    RDFA Cancel D-Swing Boost:
    Run forward using W or D and hold jump/space
    If using W let go of it while in air press D+Attack
    If using D just keep hold it and press attack.
    After pressing attack, you will press and hold W+Attack (Jump/Space is still being held at the time.)
    You will need forward momentum going into a slope surface. The middle of the swing is where the boost should happen. The player character’s body should be touching the slope surface during the middle of the swing animation. After the boost let go of attack but continue holding W+Jump/Space. If you hold attack you will swing the saber again, slowing your forward momentum giving less height to the jump.
    The timing of the swing/forward momentum speed and angle of slope surface all adjust when the boost will or will not happen. It takes some practice to learn this trick but its not too difficult to master. This trick allows access to some areas in maps devs never intended.

    roughly took 30 min to compile lighting.
    UPDATE: Origanal upload had a missing texture, also found FPS drops with more than 4 players. I had to re-work entire parts of the maps and remove/modify a lot of shaders just to increase preformance a bit more but still keep the core play of the map feeling the same. it just does not look as good imo. In order to get this map looking to how I intended I will have to learn how to optimize and import models into the map and thats something that might take a few months to learn. So I got this as good as I could for now.
