Kalek's Rancor

This is a simple reskin I made, there are two variations. One that is simply the regular rancor spikes and horns, and the other with different skin tones. That is the cuddly one. These two rancors both have 5000 health, so they are tougher than the normal one, (Half the health of the mutant) and in terms of scale between the mutant and normal, they should fall right in between.

Improved Animated Base Icon

This gives you a couple of options to improve the base chat icon. I got the idea after seeing some recent chat icon mods.
Place whichever pk3 you want into gamedata/base:
AnimatedImprovedBaseIcon - Recommended: My modified version of the base chat Icon, where
the speech bubble actually points at the character, with animated dots.
AnimatedBaseIcon - The default JKA chat Icon, but with animated dots.
ImprovedBaseIcon - My modified version of the base chat Icon, where the speech bubble
actually points at the character.

Water Wake Shader MP Fix

This mod fixes the broken water wake shader in multiplayer, when the player or NPC is standing in water. Normally the shader works in vanilla SP but not in MP, but this will make it work in both. A GIF and video are included to show the difference. Before it was just a static image which looked quite bad.
I actually made this back in 2016 but completely forgot to release it.
The file has to be loaded first, even before the assets, so do not rename it. This is why it has a 0 in the name. In addition, the shader itself can't be renamed either.

SW:TOR Chat Icons

Thermal Clip

This is a very simple mod to replace the energy cell (or blaster pack) ammunition model with a model of several thermal clips instead from Mass Effect. This is designed to be used with my Mass Effect gun models, however if you want I see no reason you couldn't use it without them.

C chat icon pack

This is just a chat icon replacement, using the C symbol of @Circa. This mod was first created as a joke but it quickly became a serious mod.
There are 3 versions :
C_chat_icon_1.pk3 : animated C chat icon based on the "high quality chat icon" from Circa and on the animated shader of Ruxith and SiLink
C_chat_icon_2.pk3 : animated C chat icon using a rotation, based on the shader file of "Arcane Weapons Pack" from Dyyor
C_chat_icon_3.pk3 : animated C chat icon using an alternative rotation

Smaller Character Menu Icons

Description:
Placing this pk3 in your Base folder will adjust the size of the icons displayed in the model selection screen of Jedi Academy both at the main menu and during gameplay. I personally find that less scrolling is better. If you decide to try out this modification, please bare in mind that this pk3, whilst in your Base folder, will not work if you are playing in a multi-player mod that alters the ui/JAMP/player.ui file.

I wreckoned the Futuristic Saber Sounds were going nowhere, so I decided to do something simple, but effective to JK2/3 gameplay. A new series of Saber Sounds: 'Trilogy Sabers'. I'm planning on collecting sounds from every Star Wars movie, and therefore putting them where they belong: not mixed up like with the Futuristic Sab Sounds. This is the first mod that I've release, the Attack of the Clones saber sounds.

Angel Soul's HOLO-HUD

This mod changes the layout of your Heads Up Display to look
a bit more holographic/techy of sorts.
There are different colors of it, and it's up to you to pick
which any one you'd like to play with.
INSTALLATION / UNINSTALLATION
======================
Pick one of the .pk3 files and put them in your JKA
GameData/base folder.
To uninstall, simply remove that file from your folder.
Note that you can only have one at a time.
KNOWN BUGS/GLITCHES
======================
These aren't exactly "bugs and glitches" but more of what
may need fixing in future releases.
- HUD too big, may cover the CTF flag status on your
lower left part of the HUD.
- Is supposed to work with Zyk mod as I have put in
code and graphics for Desann's and Tavion's saber style.
However, I haven't made it work yet.

JKHub Launcher (JA)

Description:
If you have Jedi Academy installed via Steam, you may as well overlook this mod. If you have JA installed the old fashioned way, then maybe this mod is for you! This launcher has a few more things going for it than just a redesign. For a quick idea of just what is included, take a swift look at the screenshots provided.
Firstly, the buttons have undergone some redecorating, and have been provided with new sounds. The dead link to the Jedi Academy website has been overwritten to take you straight to JKHub. There is also a new links directory file, which is essentially a condensed version of the information found on the JKHub Directory page. Most of the text has been altered from the original launcher, too. So quite the overhaul! If you're interested, why not give it a try? Just be sure to backup the original, first!
Installation Instructions:
A standard Jedi Academy directory (i.e. Not purchased via Steam) has a file path similar to this:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Base
Inside the "Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy" folder, is "Gamedata" and "Install"
Back-up the "Install" folder somewhere. Then, take the "Install" folder from the file you just downloaded, and drag it into the "Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy" folder. You should be prompted as to whether or not you'd like to overwrite 14 files or so, hit yes.
There, the launcher is installed.

Bot Chat Removal

This mod removes all of the chat lines from bots. No more annoying and cheesy lines when you kill bots or when they get kills. I found it extremely annoying when playing with people and bots and it was extra work to differentiate between real people and bots. This removes that annoyance.
This will not work with any custom bots that you have in your base folder. This only works with the default bots that come with the game.
I know it's an extremely simple mod but it hadn't been done for JA yet and I've had this made for a long time for myself. I decided to share it.

Here it is, my third map for jedi Academy May I present the Tomb of Aviskus Like the last two this map was based around an original idea. It was featured in the Now completed Sw fanfic that I wrote, which i am certain many of you have seen on the JKEMPIRE discord Overall background: This is the main chamber of the Tomb of Darth Aviskus, a powerful sith lord who continued the war against the old republic in the aftermath of Darth Ruin's death. However, he was defeated in battle by Renald Vren, the youngest jedi grandmaster in recorded history. After his death his body was brought here to rest, by his followers, whereupon the completion of the tomb, the spirit of the Dark Lord commanded that his surviving followers perform a ritual of immense power, which resulted in the deaths of most of his followers, and it also ensured that his spirit would retain the power that he once had in life. And so here his spirit waits for one powerful enough to reach his sarcophagus so that he may possess them..... Will you be Strong enough to resist the spirit of the Sith Lord??!?!? Or will you fall victim to his power like so many before? I'll admit this was intended to be released sometime in January but life got harder for me, but its here now!! Of all the maps i've made this is the one that I fully intended for use in multiplayer, mainly due to its size and scale Now you too can play this map in MP, you can yeet your opponents into the lava pit or fight on the stairs or if you are crazy like me you'll spawn an army there in SP. Installation: place the PK3 into your gamedata base folder For MD and SWGL users, just place it in the respective SWGL/ MD folders and it should work fine. Enjoy!!!! -

Holocron Challenges
So, I have been playing JKA ever since it came out. I have seen a ton of mods come and a ton of mods go. I have seen SP mods, I have seen MP mods, I have seen attempts at reinventing the wheel. Never thus far, however, have I seen a labor of love such as this one and (with no offense meant at all towards anyone else) from a person with such aesthetic quality. From the very menu of the mod, to the entire UI, to the Intuitiveness of selecting a character to play as (including variants for them), to the roguelike gameplay that no one knew how much we both wanted and needed, this mod is something that truly makes JKA replayable infinitely. It's also quite magical how the creations of almost every single being in JKhub has coalesced into this gem, making it not only one of the most (if not -the- most) enjoyable mod to have been spawned for the game but also sort of a history book of JKhub past, present and future. Just beautiful. ~S -

Holocron Challenges
Thanks for this, I've taken a look at Mustafar and there was a miscount on one of the waves towards the end leading to the next wave being spawned earlier than it should which I've fixed now and it will be in the next update. I haven't been able to replicate the freezing or missing textures on later rounds though, are you using OpenJK to play the mod? There are issues in the base version of the game which is why I made OpenJK a requirement. I'll look at adding something extra to arenas for clearing all the rooms. I wanted to try to make the characters different to play which is why they have different force powers, it does make some of them harder to play than others but I think it also gives people a bit more of a challenge if that's what they're looking for. I'll look at adding heal/drain to some more characters though to give people more chances to regen their health but I did set up the ladders so you get healed after each boss encounter and after each arena in arenas. Customising characters isn't something I'm going to add though. I want to do everything through the hub map and adding customisable characters would mean too many permutations and it would be a bit of a headache to script, it was bad enough just trying to get these to work as is! -

Welcome to the New Zyk Mod, a re-imagined version of the original Zyk OpenJK Mod. This is a RPG Mod with skills, quests, mini-games, admin commands, and more. This new mod is intended for a more balanced PvP and PvE experience. Features: Players can upgrade skills and play quests. An inventory system where items have weight. A Stamina system where player loses stamina over the time and can regen it by using bacta items and meditating. Some Single player maps have support to CTF in Multiplayer. There are cvars to set saber damage and blocks/parries in private duels. Entity/Building system that allows add, edit, remove and list entities in a map. It also allows to save them. Holocron Challenges
The mod is amazing. The hub is very cozy, everything is within easy reach. Very interesting idea with a challenge of multiple arenas and ending with a boss room. The variety of characters is impressive, but there is room for improvement. Now I will touch on controversial issues. It's more like feedback: 1) I liked the idea with the arenas, but I wanted there to be a unique reward in the form of a separate secret arena after clearing all the rooms. If you don't go into boss rooms. 2) The ladder modes are very unbalanced. A lot of characters appear on Mustafar; in the last 3 stages, waves of opponents appeared even when the previous ones had not yet ended. It also caused the game to freeze and textures to disappear. There is a similar situation on the Roussan map, although everything is fine with the waves, but towards the final battles the same situation occurs with missing textures and freezing. On the Jedi Temple map, guards with a dual sword in one hand kill with 1-2 attacks. When in this arena you don’t experience the slightest difficulty with the bosses. Played on Jedi Knight difficulty. 3)I wanted to touch on the balance of the characters. As I understand it, the idea was to make each hero with his own unique set of skills, strengths and weaknesses. And almost everyone doesn’t have the healing skill, but several of the characters have it. Which greatly affects the gameplay in the ladder. Although the variety of characters is impressive, some heroes have little or no variety. As I understand it, not everyone was able to be contacted to obtain permission. I would like to see more options or the ability to customize your character yourself. As I wrote above, I really liked the mod. And the moments that I voiced. These are just my impressions of the game, which can be ignored.
