By Angel SoulThis mod changes your chat icons with logo of JKHub.org,
and improves voice chat icon looks into ultra gorgeous hi-res.
Included in this pack is also a .PSD file, for PhotoShop ninjas
to use - should they desire to do so. So the PHOTOSHOP PSD
folder is only for such use. It has no use for the mod itself.
By DisneyOnAcidThis is a very tiny mod. What it does is simply change the mission info screens to refer to the first mission (the Tatooine mercenaries one) as if it takes place in Jakku instead of Tatooine.
References to Tatooine and Mos Eisley were changed for that mission in the text. Also 2 voice lines referring to Tatooine/Mos Eisley were edited so they don't say it.
There's an extra planet circle in the galaxy screen and the planet photo is different too but I didn't animate it, sorry.
I thought this made sense since the Millenium Falcon is parked there (this could be when Han loses it?) and since Jakku and Tatooine look exactly the same, let's be honest.
I haven't changed anything in the map, the NPCs or the mission itself, maybe I will in a future release.
Let me know if there's some glitch with it.
EDIT: Added an alternative pk3 which makes it replace Blenjeel instead.
By RamikadThis mod replaces the default camera model with the 57C holocam model seen in the movies. I haven't noticed any frame rate drops, but due to the more complex geometry some lag might occur on slower machines. Aside from that I haven't noticed any bugs. I haven't tested it with Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, but given that the model paths are the same it should work with it as well. To install, unpack the file z_57C.pk3 into your GameData/Base folder. To uninstall, remove the file z_57C.pk3 from the GameData/Base folder.
By kalamarayMy attempt at re-creating in detail the lightsaber effects, sparks, blades and the animation of each blade from The Force Awakens. Since there was only one regular lightsaber color in the movie i did my best to imagine what the other colors might look like using the color layering, contrast/saturation and brightness of the blue blade as an example. I modified Darth Martyr's shader to create the animation sequences for the blades so big thanks to him for letting me use it.
While i put alot of time and attention into every aspect of this mod, i really wanted to bring the effects out by re-creating each unique spark in the various effects from every aspect of their appearance, to the gravity and velocity of each one. The lightsaber clash was difficult as there was a few variations of it so i went with a more neutral one color wise, as opposed to the deep purple/violet. However if for some reason someone would like the latter version let me know as i made it as well recently just for fun.
Installation: Put the TFA_Live_Blades+Effects.pk3 in your base folder along with one of the saber animation pk3's depending on what you want. The main file contains the effects and regular saber blades.
Blade_Animations.pk3 - TFA animations for regular blades with a normal red blade.
Blade_Animations+KyloRed.pk3 - TFA animations for regular blades but with Kylo Ren's blade for red.
Kylo_Blade_Only.pk3 - Just Kylo Ren's saber blade with no animations for regular blades.
By CircaThis is a mod that updates the voice icon in multiplayer to be of higher quality. The default one is pretty bad, and since I made the chat icon high quality, this needed to be the next step. Thanks to Ensiform for pointing that out.
By CircaThis is a mod that updates the chat icon in multiplayer to be of higher quality and animated. I was tired of seeing a really ugly pixelated one, and it was about time for an update. I used Ruxith and SiLink's animation shader for the animated dots. All credit goes to them.
By White HoodThis is my first mod for Jedi Academy
This mod changes the default lightsaber colors in-game.
This is the fixed version of this mod in which I have fixed the orange color and the floaty white bits.
I have also added a slight point to the base of the blades.
Thank you, and I hope you enjoy this mod!
And my the Force be with you!
This mod will replace all of the screen savers, console as well as the Jedi Academy logo with SWTOR stuff.
IMPORTANT THIS MOD ONLY WORKS FOR SP.
To use this mod, place the "Kotor Screen Savers.pk3" files in the LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base, folder.
By CircaThis is a very simple mod that replaces the default crosshair with all but a simple dot. This is common in a lot of games, to simplify a third person or first person experience. I felt like the default crosshairs were created more for guns, and when you play mostly just using a saber (on MP), it's nice to get the bulky crosshair out of the way and keep it simple.
Again, this is another simple mod that I've had for awhile that I figured others would get use out of.
This replaces the default crosshair (1) - if you use another built in crosshair (2-10) then you'll need to switch to the default. You can use this command in the console to do so:
By CircaThis is a mod that aims to freshen and soften the main menus of both SP and MP of Jedi Academy. I always felt like the sounds and music for the menu were extremely harsh. Especially if you're playing late at night, you fire up JKA and click Play--BEEP! Ow. Click Join Serv--BEEP!
New sounds add a more subtle feel to your menu experience.
Music track for MP switched with the Yavin Temple explore music from JK2. Very peaceful feel, reminds me of the Jedi Academy map.
Same music track added to the SP menu (previously no music played)
Server list now shows more servers at a time, making the font smaller. Before it was huge and only showed around 10 at a time.
New video plays in the main menu, just to give it something new.
Server info window is now grey, so it's easier to see black names
Hopefully more changes will happen later. This is the first release.
This was a mod I've had in my base for years but never shared it. Decided to work on it a bit more and release it. It's hard NOT to use it now.
Also, keep in mind this won't work with other main menu mods, for the most part, if they edit the actual menu.
By LaisumHay! I continue to work with fonts. Today, I have replaced all of the fonts in the game. "Anewhope" font was created from the beginning, using the editor "Font Creator". All fonts with Cyrillic and nice look of the game.
Also, with the file will go * .ttf file that everyone can use it in Photoshop.
By LaisumGreetings! This cosmetic modification is designed to improve the interface for a Russian-speaking players. The basis I took font "Fixedsys" author "Didz". I added to it the Cyrillic characters.
And replace "ergoec" i chose a suitable nice free font, with Russian symbols.
English-speaking players can also use it.
Put file in MBII dir.
This is my attempt at recreating the unstable effect seen on Kylo Ren's lightsaber in episode VII.
This will give red lightsabers in the game a blade that shimmers and wavers like Kylo's in the movie, complete with lightning that crackles along the length of the blade.
Don't use in singleplayer if you don't want every dark jedi you meet to have somehow found a cracked kyber crystal for themselves.
I didn't care for the original HUD in Jedi Academy, it seemed a bit busy. This was actually one of my first mods, trying to change the HUD. For some reason I'm only just now getting around to uploading it. So yes, the HUD is a bit more simplified, and I also changed the "Use Item" image so it doesn't have the Mario glove-looking hand, and instead just a circle and "Use". I feel this makes it look better...
This doesn't replace the HUD for vehicles though, just the usual one.
By AshuraDXA simplified version of the base JKA HUD that has yet to be completed - nuff said!
use the hud_wide.pk3 if you play in a widescreen resolution and your mod does not correct the aspect ratio automatically.

These were some pretty good round sabers I found on filefront/jk3 files. These don't conflict with the hilts I use so they are ideal for me. Here's the realm that came with the file, it is also included in the zip:
[update: new blade shape, sounds, and colors] These recreate the blades seen in ep2.
The screens are pretty bad so check it out yourself in the game. Remove any other saber
mods (INCLUDING MY OLD ONES IF U HAVE EM). Put selected pk3's in gamedata/base folder
(jka or jk2). The colors in the ep2.blades_v3.pk3 are using the originals.
So if you want the new colors, add the other pk3's to the gamedata/base folder.
Comments : have fun
Update in Detail : -Fixed the saber swing (more accurate to the movie).
-The shape of the blade redone
-Fixed up the sound pack with cleaner sounds(episode 2 sounds).
-Fixed up some colors (colors inside the pk3)

This mod replaces different stances and animations in JA. This is version 2.0. Theres only a few changes. It will edit the following:
Normal standing animation replaced with the normal standing animation from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Medium saber stance replaced with the normal saber stance from KOTOR. Just a 1 frame stance so far. Might continue with the full animation some other time in another version.
Fast saber stance replaced with the stance Darth Revan uses when Bastila and other Jedi encounter him.
Strong saber stance replaced with Darth Malak's saber stance.
Dual sabers stance replaced to the one used in KOTOR.
Staff saber stance replaced with the staff stance in KOTOR
Choke/Grip animation replaced with a stance similar to the one in KOTOR. Not totally accurate but close.
Running with saber replaced with the normal running animation.
Running with dual saber replace with the normal running animation also. I thought that the defualt animation looked terrible. Like the player was shaking their hips back and forth. Looks a lot better even thought saber blade hits the ground sometimes.
By SdeltroomTHello ! Today I bring you a small mod I like to call "Mini-Mod" Where will change the texture of shield that appears when we receive damage.
Hope you like!
By Darth SionDescription:
One of the biggest things that's always rather annoyed me about Jedi Academy, is how the Sky on Korriban (The last level in the game, as you head towards Marka Ragnos' tomb to confront either Tavion and/or Kyle Katarn. Depending on whether you chose the Dark Side or the Light Side), is the lack of atmosphere on the level. It really doesn't convey any sense of situation or feeling of what path you've chosen, as such or where you are. What this mod does, is try to deliver just that (quite well, I might add too). It includes a NEW and more authentic sky for the world of Korriban, as you will see from many sources across the web and other STAR WARS games that include the Sith planet. As opposed to the default cloudy, blue sky that was in the base game. It also includes the very dark and ominous music of the Sith, so as you're exploring the Sith Temple (whether you've chosen "Light Side" or "Dark Side" in the previous mission, on Taspir III), it should deliver a more authentic experience, all-round.
George Lucas, John Williams and LucasArts.
By ZA-7Hello everyone, I present to you the package of visual enhancements to the colors of all lightsabers.
The effects of the sabers that includes the game by default are too bright for my taste, therefore, realize other simpler and more prolix as the sabers of the prequels. THIS IS MY FIRST MOD, I hope u like it.
Name: Best colors for lightsabers
Category: Visual, lightsaber
File type: .rar (PK3)
- Extract the "Better_Lightsabers_custom_colors_BY_ZA-7.pk3" file in the "Base" folder of your game.
Post data: Remember, if you have other mods that change the colors of lightsabers perhaps these new not work, therefore, I recommend eliminate or move them to another folder so that they work properly.
By kalamarayA few weeks ago i tried making some accurate Star Wars Rebels blades, and figured out a way that worked surprisingly well for a more authentic looking inner glow. This inspired me to take another go at some high quality regular blades with a more detailed look to them compared to the saber mods available so far. One thing i've noticed in some of the movies is sabers getting just slightly more narrow as they go up, and having a thicker brighter inner glow inside the darker glow (some scenes/movies this is more visible then others, the well known screencap of Finn in the woods for example). It's always bugged me how sabers in this game with color around the blades end up having a kind of icecream sandwich look, with the color ending up to solid looking bordering a white line as opposed to a hazy glow around an energy blade. The inner glow tapers into the blade at the top and bottom like in some of the movies and I've added some color to the cores that gets brighter toward the middle and bottom to add contrast and detail no matter how close you get to them. I've also changed the yellow blade to the greenish-yellow of Ahsoka's shoto blade, and all textures are in the same level of high resolution as my last blades. One file has a new saberflare that looks pretty good on it's own, the other has no saberflare for anyone using them with my effects package (or a different one). Hope you like them!
By kalamarayI made these for a request of the saber blades in the cinematic movies for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Installation: Drop the PK3 in your base folder.
