  1. Climbit 1

    This is a climbing tower intended for racing. I have added triggers for start and finish if any servers want to add it. (Named "Start" and "Finish"). It has been played quite a lot in JK2 and people wanted me to adapt it for JK3 too, so here it is. The map consists of two levels with many different paths! I hope you will enjoy the map, although the map is quite hard and you will need average and higher skill level in circle jumping and other trick jumps.
     
    This map is compatible with jk2 and jk3!

  4. FFA Hyperblast by Langerd

    This is Tribute to the one of my favuorite Death match maps of all time - DM Hyperblast from Unreal Tournament 1999
     
    The only thing i didnt made on my own.. is the concept of the map and the music.. All rights for Epic Games for that and big thanks for doing all of this.

    Names of the maps:
     
    The mp version: Devmap Hyp_mp
     
    The sp version (It is like original one. Inside the ship there is normal gravity but outside it is lower so You can fight and play with everything ) : Devmap Hyperblast
     
    I played with the bots to check the map. I made a bot that You can delete if You want (to do that remove botfiles from the pk3).
    He is called : weapon stormtrooper. He is picking weapons and use them more often than the others (slightly but still).
     
    I recommend changing the options on your map like this:
     
    -g_speed 320 - all players will be faster
    -broadsword 1 - Jk3 ragdoll physics
    -g_knockback 3200 - Knockback in multiplayer is rly low in my opinion.. Making it higher is better to getting Your enemies off the edges of the ship
    -g_gravity - This option just simply change the gravity.. If You know the original map You know that gravity in this level was diffrent depends if You were inside or outside of the ship. Sadly i couldnt do it for MP version.. But You can sill change the gravity to play around

    A simple spoof off of Wal-Mart. It's got many of the same features as a Wal-Mart,
    and perhaps a bit more. As of this point, I decided to ditch several ideas that I had had to move on
    to a different map project. I know FPS is a little shaky in some parts (possibly more so outside, since it's a lot larger)
    but it's the best I could do in a massive area. It's my first map that I've made (so I know it's probably lacking)
    but I hope you guys enjoy!

  7. Yavin 4 Riverside

    Filesize: ~7,2MB
    Description:
     
    This is my first fully-developed (riiiight...) map. It was created for roleplaying or cinematic purposes, so it's basically focused on terrain design. I was trying to capture that specific "Yavin 4" mood, with lots of rain, moisture and greenery.
    It has a very dense flora, which surrounds muddy paths sculpted by water. Terrain was generated using Easygen, after that I've manually added mountain pass and flat terrain on the other side of the river - which might look like natural transitions to other maps of your choice.
     
    As I said, map was designed for roleplaying, so there isn't much to do, unless... FFA! Because of that, I recently added several spawnpoints, so now you may use it as a harsh environment for jungle combat. Trees and bushes will provide extra cover, and potentially may help you ambush poor souls beneath you. Unfortunately, map has several flaws - it could be more optimized, but I simply cannot pour more time into it, so I am releasing it as it is. Sorry!
     
    Huge thanks to @Thrust for all that stupid questions he had to answer... and he did it flawlessly. Without his support, this map couldn't be completed. Also, shoutout to all my friends from yavin4.pl, for their unaware beta-testing and opportunity to release this map as a part of our mappack.

    ==============
    - I know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Ebon Hawk interior, and the answer is simple, but somewhat hard to explain:
    When you are inside the Ebon Hawk in KotOR, it's MUCH bigger than it is when you're outside. And so, making those two pieces fit
    would be practically impossible. This be also the reason why I didn't make the loading ramp leading to the Hawk's interior, in
    case anyone wanted to know.
     
    - I also know alot of people will ask why I didn't make the Dantooine plains while I was at it, and there are several reasons:
    It would be extremely hard to make it look alright, considering the shape of the "hills" that are out there. If I for some
    reason should be able to make it, the map would be too big, or, I would have to place "invisible walls" everywhere, to limit the
    area. And if there are things I really hate in a map, it's "invisible walls".
     
    - Additionally, if anyone's going to ask why the skybox is so easy to hit, that would be because the structure of the original map
    itself did not open up for alot of bunny-jumping. It would just mess up alot, and sometimes allowing the jumping player to see
    over the walls and into the rooms beyond it, which I do not want to happen - but it is regretable anyway.
     
    And so, as those three questions above has been answered here in the read-me, I will not be answering them later on, so don't ask.

    MMDuel1, MMDuel2, MMDuel3, and MMDuel4 work with duel and power duel.
    MMFFA1, MMFFA2, and MMFFA3 work with FFA and TFFA.
    MMFFA2 works with CTF.
    MMFFA4/MMFFA4A is a giant map designed for spawning flying vehicles.
     
    All maps have some degree of bot compatibility.

  10. Rach strafing grounds

    This map is compatible with both JK2 and JK3.
     
     
    This is a strafe map i have been working with lately and has a total of 11 task. Most of the tasks has different difficulty levels which varies from easy to ultra hard. Most of the task are quite unique and has high demands on good strafing skills and overall movement. I hope you will enjoy the map as much as i do, but hopefully be able to clear more levels than me.
     
    All the tasks are tested and validated to makes sure they are all doable, but you need to be skilled to complete it all.

    1. Use 125 fps
    2. Follow the written instructions
    3. Have fun
     
    Please come with any feedback or ideas for future work on the map! Everything is appreciated.

  11. Casa De Los Parias

    This has been an ongoing project for several months now, but sadly its not complete. I decided to release it as it is, unfinished, because im moving on do to bigger and better things. Q3 engine just can't satisfy me anymore. Anyway, some of the things that we were planning on doing with this map were a complete weapons replacement mod; ak47s, uzis, Rpgs, etc... Also, a complete replacement of items and pickups... Also, new vehicles such as the huey on the roof and speed boats... And i was planning on doing a "modified" siege gametype... All this would have been great but i felt it wasn't worth the effort for JA. Sorry... Another game, another time. It is in fact likely that we'll work on a mod like this for another game.. We're not sure what, probably UT04. For those who care, the real reason i'm moving on is that i'm just tired of getting ignored for my NON-Star wars themed stuff.

  13. Yavin Temple Trial

    This map was inspired by the Trial map used in Jedi Outcast, without the things like running over a bridge or along a corridor, or standing on a pillar to open a door, etc.
     
    I've included the Source file so people can modify it, so long as I'm given credit, or should they wish to improve upon it so I can upload an updated/improved version (giving them credit for improvements). I took some textures from Jedi Outcast for the Telekinesis Switches because they weren't in the Academy base files.
     
    The map isn't overly big, as it is designed to test students who are learning, the target group being Roleplay communities, thus the following abilities are required to complete the map:
     
    Jump 1
    Push 1
    Pull 1
     
    No external NPC's were used, only Stormtroopers, Sentries and Reborns designed to test say a child of 10-13's abilities.
     
    A big thanks to @MagSul for talking me through certain parts when I was confused and to @JungAk for testing it.

  14. Project: Rocketlauncher

    Well this is the 2nd map I realeased with running NPCs for multiplayer. You are hero in this map and your goal is to destroy the base. It is almost impossible to do it alone, so it is prefered at least 2 players to complete this mission. Here are instructions how to do it:
     
    1. Wait for the Boss to come out (it takes about 10 minutes). After comming out he will unlock almost all doors. The main door to the control room is till locked. Slay the Boss.
    2. Slay the commander who is about to leave the area on his shuttle. Take a key from him and unlock main door to the control room. (Just kill him).
    3. Open the "Gates" to a lower area. In the control room go down by the stairs, turn right and press on the first console with orange screen.
    4. Take a lift to the lower area. Go to the control room and prepare a missile for launch. Press on the console just in the middle of the control room.
    5. Program a missile for self-destruction. Take a lift down, run out of the corridor and find 2 consoles near generator. Hack the 1st computer (it takes about 20 seconds) then hack the 2nd.
    6. When alarm turns on, get out of the base as fast as you can! Otherwise you will be able to see some nice fireworks .
    7. Go to the control room and plant a bomb. Get out of the control room. (Just press in the center of the room).

    This is a map that was originally submitted to JK3Files way back in 2009.
     
    You have stopped at a desert outpost on Tatooine. It's a place where travelers between cities might stop for a rest or some other types of legal or illegal activities. Explore around above and below ground. There are consoles located throughout the map which will spawn unfriendlies if you choose to activate them. Proceed with caution! Search around for weapons other than your light saber, you may need them.
     
    If you're running an older PC, I do caution you against spawning all of the NPCs at one time!

    -> Information:
     
    I made a map for AoS a year ago, but I had some problems because of bad performance (newbie mistakes broke the map entirely, fps dropped to 20 in a lot of areas). That's why I decided to remake it and here it is, finally.
    So this is my first finished map, it is an academy I made for my last clan. However you are welcome to use it on your servers. It's highly inspired by Academy 1.2 map.
    This map contains a lot of rooms:
     
    -2 Duel rooms (one is bigger, for tournament purposes)
    -Medic
    -Council
    -Bar (with security system)
    -Npc room
    -Garden
    -Prison (with security system)
    -Bathrooms
    -Classroom (RIP sauna)
    -Admin rooms
    -Generic padawan rooms
    -Hidden valley of the jedi
    -Admin control room (you can now change the sky from there!)
     
    I included bot support, it's a very simple bot route (we all hate those kangaroo bots).
    It also contais a lot of secrets that should not be easy to find (room locks, some extra secret places...). It does include custom shaders and textures, models, botroutes and a few sounds.
    There are a lot of custom textures, if you see some textures on the map you might want to use, you DO have my permission to do so, as long as I recieve some sort of credit.

    The mirrors in my map (or cameras) might make a Hall of Mirror if you look at them from the sides but it should be fine if you look at them directly (also, players might not appear on these cameras, only their shadow).
    Trees in the garden may glitch, leaving only a few leaves depending on the angle you look at them.
    Depending on your cfg, the map might cast strange lights, such as purple lights in some corners or other places (with a default cfg I did not get strange lights. However, I did get some purple lights using my modified cfg).

  23. RJA Sparring

    Below is my original readme file from 2005....I was 17 years old! The days...
     
    So, along with the original "rjasparring.pk3" file, I am also including the never released "Redux" editions that greatly expanded on the original map. It includes mazes, treehouses, forested areas, temples, a tiki bar, a beach, and many graphical and architectural improvements. See the screenshots included for an idea.

    File Information: This map went through 2 beta stages before it finaly became a FINAl version.
     
    Mainly for dueling, I tried to give it a strong atmospheric effect. It took a total of 4 days to complete this map.
     
    I put alot of effort into adding little tiny details here and there that any other mapper wouldnt normally do!
     
    This is also my first map, but don't let that deter you, I read my tutorials
     
    Notes: Some people say they experience problems with the walls or etc..
     
    Mind you, in this level I used defualt textures for EVERYTHING, so there is no possible way for it to be caused by the map.

    A map that started in February of 2015 and completed within 11 months from the clan Jedi of Freedom, {JoF}. It is meant as a tribute to the clan and as a way for the clan to finally replace the infamous JediCouncilGCX and Jedi'sHomeJL 2.
     
    This map had a lot of great authors and was a collaboration of several JoF members.
     
    We are incredibly pleased with how this map turned out so I suggest everyone offers their bandwidth to experience it. You will not be disappointed.
     
    Also a big thanks to Shadowstone for making JH2 as we clearly drew mad inspiration to make the first mainhall.
    Likewise a huge thanks to Griffinclaw for his GCX map as the pillars and lava areas are entirely from him due to those being a classic part of our trials in the clan.
    Thanks to Sith-J-Cull for some mad texture work in his Coruscant/Padmes home map.
