Taris Cantina

This is just a very small map I made back in 2011. I've always loved the maps and atmosphere of the Knights of the Old Republic game, and especially I liked Taris.
Though there are quite many maps out there from KotOR, I think there can't be enough So I wanted to bring you the little Taris Cantina, that is found in the Upper City.
There ain't very much to say about it, in the middle of the map is the largest room, and from that you can reach 4 other smaller rooms, for playing Pazaak, dancing, drinking and fighting. I used the original music from KotOR and there are a few new textures and shaders made by myself. Besides that I worked with Inyris great KotOR objects (link is in the readme).
So, if you wanna give it a look, have fun and thanks for downloading!

Ok this map was going to be so much more, but i just didnt get time to finesh it before xmas, I have kids I gotta concentrate on now hehe! Anyway its still large enough to have a good ol guns up on, or perhaps the odd duel. Some will be upset that i didnt include the insides to the castle, or the little village that was planned but as i said i ran out of time, perhaps next year

Representation of part of a spaceport on Alzoc III with two landing bays, a bar, and a small piece of the exterior.
The only major change since v1 is the different skybox. Instead of the base JA skybox, I used the same snowy mountainscape from my Alzoc 3 Capital map. The outdoor lighting is now closer to dusk than daytime, which frankly is more atmospheric than what I had done before. I also removed the useless Swoop bike.

Asteroid H5 is the 5th map in the HGC Hangout series. Past maps have taught me lessons and I've capitalized on those lessons when making this new map. I decided to go with an asteroid in an asteroid field this time around because I felt it gave the map some class. Past maps were just random fun and games. This time it's more serious. I had some inspiration from the asteroid Lumiya occupied in space in the Legacy of the Force book series. This map includes many features like secret areas, the mission, and more. It gives you something to do if no one is playing the map with you. I hope everyone enjoys the map and if anyone has questions or need hints/help you may contact me by the email address below.

There are several secrets in this map. The well of doom the most obvious and difficult of them. There are also some traps. The mission leads you to most of the secrets but not all.
WARNING: Do not go past the artificial environment emitters without being in a tie-fighter, or you will be exposed to space!
Bugs: Since map allows you to go everywhere, not everything is perfect. I feel the minor problems are acceptable though and feel it's ready to share.

BACKSTORY
==========
-Prologue-
Your TIE-fighter comes out of hyperspace and approaches the asteroid field. The engines moan as they cease operation.
You have been formally invited and given the exact location of the asteroid to complete your mission, but you remain cautious, for the asteroid feels surrounded in the dark side of the force...
You read all available data before landing and reporting to the council area.
-Database Record-
Asteroid H5 is located in the Thoridian sector near the Thordor asteroid field. Exact location of the asteroid changes constantly and is unknown at this time. HGC operatives have occupied the region for centuries and H5 is their likely base of operations. It is recommended to stay clear unless formally invited. Asteroid H5 has great abundances of water and several different kinds of rock. Continuous simulated atmospheric conditions have melted the water deposits and formed a landscape of great wonder with creatures attracted to its power and hospitable enclaves.

MISSION
========
Infiltrate the asteroid, and do the following:
Find the Sith which taint the asteroid and defeat their leader Desann.
Find the Twin Eye artifacts that will give you powers only one could dream of.
Find RoboMan and sign out a shuttle to transport the artifacts back to Coruscant.
All these must be done or your mission will be incomplete!
Once complete, mission accomplished!

Well this is the 2nd map I realeased with running NPCs for multiplayer. You are hero in this map and your goal is to destroy the base. It is almost impossible to do it alone, so it is prefered at least 2 players to complete this mission. Here are instructions how to do it:
1. Wait for the Boss to come out (it takes about 10 minutes). After comming out he will unlock almost all doors. The main door to the control room is till locked. Slay the Boss.
2. Slay the commander who is about to leave the area on his shuttle. Take a key from him and unlock main door to the control room. (Just kill him).
3. Open the "Gates" to a lower area. In the control room go down by the stairs, turn right and press on the first console with orange screen.
4. Take a lift to the lower area. Go to the control room and prepare a missile for launch. Press on the console just in the middle of the control room.
5. Program a missile for self-destruction. Take a lift down, run out of the corridor and find 2 consoles near generator. Hack the 1st computer (it takes about 20 seconds) then hack the 2nd.
6. When alarm turns on, get out of the base as fast as you can! Otherwise you will be able to see some nice fireworks .
7. Go to the control room and plant a bomb. Get out of the control room. (Just press in the center of the room).

The Temple of Solstice

I'm really proud of this map. The main problem is some people may have low frame rate. Especially on older computers. But I was not able to optimise it any better. Actually the optimisation of the map has been done by Kobra, and it still runs a lot smoother than after I tried to optimise it.
The map features plenty of nice places for a duel and is quite visually appealing. There's a good variety of areas: The garden, the temple, huge flat platform in the middle of space where you can get through a teleport, a duel arena made of 4 bridges to which you also get through teleport, a nice arena in the garden with seats all around it. There are even catacombs, and I was thinking of some clan events that may possibly use such setting. I don't like to talk a lot about my work, so you should just download the map and see for yourself if you'll like it or not. Make sure to read ReadMe.txt.

Ok well lets start of by saying in no way or no how is this map a replica of Whoville.Dr Suess has always been my favorite of mine since i was kid to now as and adult.So this is Just a fresh approach to something different.It does have a nice whoville theme though.Mountain terrian a clear blue sky with the snow falling ever so gently.With odly shape houses that are lined with christmas lights and festive decaration with candy canes lolli pops spread across the lancsape.To the other side of town you will almost find something of an amusement park.With some rides for christmas fun.Ice skating,slides,the grinches leap,tube rides,a chair lift so you your freinds can ride around over the tops of the town just hanging out watching people getting a saber in there eye(YOU'LL POKE YOUR OUT)LOL.It also makes a great sniper point for your sniping pleasure.And if you get alittle cold you always go to the house with the fire place and warm up.Theres a few easter eggs around the map (good luck finding them)and plenty of weapon pick ups.There just hidden a bit.The alphmap is snow and ice i made the ice slick so watch your step.I tell ya i had alot of fun myself just trying to get to the top and slide down the mountains.But thats just me.Theres tauntaun's in there to ride around on and yes they do respawn.I think its really fun to ride them down the slides

Coruscant Speedway

This map is an idea that I have been playing with for a long time, and I am pleased to be able to fialy release it! The map consists of respawnable swoop bikes with optional sound effects (pk3 included) a large race track with a few surprises on the way I have kept the weapons to a minimum in an attempt to courage the use of swoop rather than getting tied down to a ffa, although its still fun to do so.
There are various new sound effects to give the map the impression of a large city and I have used clipits of sound from EI pod race scene and the PS2 pod racer game (all credit were its due) Also near the start line there is a special spectator service with transporters to key places around the map for come realistic spectating, and there is a start line computer up on the walkway. I hope you enjoy this map, if the music is gets on your nerves, I am deeply sorry !!

The vast majority of the textures are ones I made from scratch in my previous maps.
I converted the Boris maps from Quake III Defrag with permission from Boris. His maps can be found here:

Tatooine Nights

This map is a second attempt to represent part of a Tatooine space port at night. Even though it's a second version, there is very little from the first map that survived from the first version into the second version. It is intended to be used for ffa and tffa. It was also made to have somewhat of a single player feel to it. If you play the map by yourself, there are plenty of things to keep you busy. It would also be a good map for merc wars. There are a bunch of destructible brushes and most of the control panels/computers trigger something, although it may not be visible from where the trigger is located. Have fun finding them all!

So, along with the original "rjasparring.pk3" file, I am also including the never released "Redux" editions that greatly expanded on the original map. It includes mazes, treehouses, forested areas, temples, a tiki bar, a beach, and many graphical and architectural improvements. See the screenshots included for an idea.

File Information: This map went through 2 beta stages before it finaly became a FINAl version.
Mainly for dueling, I tried to give it a strong atmospheric effect. It took a total of 4 days to complete this map.
I put alot of effort into adding little tiny details here and there that any other mapper wouldnt normally do!
This is also my first map, but don't let that deter you, I read my tutorials
Notes: Some people say they experience problems with the walls or etc..
Mind you, in this level I used defualt textures for EVERYTHING, so there is no possible way for it to be caused by the map.
