Star Wars Jedi Academy Re-Edited Again

This is my last contribution to JK3Files, a video which celebrates the imaginative story of Jedi Academy by ripping it to pieces. It contains several scenes and situations from the game, but as the title suggests, they are edited.
And I'm not going to post any spoilers this time!
Don't ask me where I've been for two years - its been a bit of a rollercoaster for me since I made the previous video.
I apologise if the size is a bit hefty compared to the others, but considering the factors that a) its a twenty minute video and B) the increase in availability of high-speed internet, I think the size is justifiable.

EagleStriker's Jedi Outcast AND Jedi Academy Re-Edited Full Movie Edits
For my first file submission, I decided to just make and upload a quick little splice of the three parts to Eaglestriker's JOReE trilogy, while the Jedi Academy ones were both a more extensive project.
As mentioned, it was such a simple edit for the JKO vid; I just fused the endings of the first two videos with the beginnings of the second and third by removing each "To Be Continued..." and fading the audio together. I also removed the "Disturbing Images" text frame from the "passing gas in the cockpit" scene and added the Eaglestriker logo from the end of the Jedi Academy Re-Edited Beyond Chrismas Episode vid. As for the two JK3 Re-Edited fan edits, those took more crossfading and cuts and text effects than normal among other things.
This is a fan edit of a fan-made parody. I do not claim ownership of the source materials in my edits of these videos, nor the source materials used within any edits of the edits themselves.

Here are the differences - (dont read on if you want to be surprised)
*Rosh is disappointed by Jaden's sudden change of gender.
*Luke takes up Karaoke.
*Rosh, for some reason, keeps on getting silenced by someone.
*Kyle's temper is as short as Yoda.

Falling into Darkness
Fearing the destruction of the Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars, the Jedi Master Basil has taken his students to the remote planet of Delius where they have lived in peace for many years.
However this is about to change, a small ship belonging to the Rebel Alliance has crashed on the planet and even know, forces loyal to the evil Emperor Palpatine search the nearby regions of space for this vessel.
This planet also has its own dangers, dark forces plotting against the Jedi Knights are beginning to move, they have taken the rebel pilot and plan to use her to turn one of the Jedi to the Dark Side of the Force...

NeoTokyo Trailer (1080p)
Well here is a trailer for Szico VII's up coming map Timesplitter2: Neotokyo The setting of this map is based off of the TS2 game that is also one of Szicos personal favorites. The map is actuially a SP mission in the game and he has brought it to life in Jedi Academy's Multiplayer. The map itself is a medium sized map not as big as Blueice Twilight or Midgar V2 but it is still a good place to have a good Deathmatch. It is raining outside there are broken thigns to be found everywhere. And possibly a few secrets
there is also a little train the goes through the main city area. The FPS of this map is amazing it allowed me to film using Fraps with Dynamic glow on and still have over 18 FPS which was very good compared to how crappy my computer is. Well now I'll stop gaging on about the map and give you an insite on my trailer. The trailer itself is alittle over a minute long. It has orange titles going through out the video leading up to the final Title (Timesplitter2: Neotokyo) Each title has what it is in English then some Japanese characters (which is where the map is in Japan) The video is excelently timed in my opinion and also I think it is my best. Szico himself says "This is the best video I've seen come out of you." And at first he didnt think this map didnt need a trailer because of its size and important. But I will always be making this for his map. Also some other people too

Blue Ice Twilight Trailer (1080p)
This is a trailer for Szico VII's latest map, Blue Ice Twilight. This project has been going on for about a year and has been a huge success during beta stages. It was also very nice to fight on even in the big areas! <:MJC:> and [HGR] had a huge FFA mach in that area to try and really strain the FPS. But, as useual with Szico he pulled it through the lowest it went was 17 FPS. Great job bud!

Jedi Academy: Final Fantasy Style

Well I got bored making music video-style videos for Jedi Academy, so I thought a little uniqueness was in order. This video is a combination of filmed action from Jedi Academy and photoshopped frame-by-frame sections. The video was meant to, as accurately as possible, give Jedi Academy that Final Fantasy VII feel.
To compelete the "FF7 Look" the Cloud/Sephiroth models have been used, as well as the Advent Children Weapons Pack. The good old-fashioned FF7 battle theme might make one believe they were really watching a FF7 gameplay clip instead of a Jedi Academy video. And what Final Fantasy battle is complete without the ever-present victory fanfare?
At the end of the battle you will come to the experience screen, but here in Jedi Academy things are a little.... different.

Sith-J-Cull's Stargate SGC
So a couple things I've figured out (after all these years) regarding issues I've had with this map: First, the sockter folder in textures is missing a texture from SJC's Naboo Crystal Sanctuary. An easy fix would just to have that mod installed, but I personally copied over the missing textures into the sockter folder. Secondly, the textures in the Asjc_stargate folder and the stargate.shader conflict with LivingDeadJedi's Ancient Outpost (which has it's own variant of the same folder, presumably with earlier versions of the conflicting textures). Using both maps together at the same time will mess up the event horizon. Don't know if you anybody reads these comments anymore, but an official fix would be nice. -

Jedi Academy: Enhanced
So surprisingly I wasn't using the ultimate weapon pack, only the saber pack. I deleted the saber pack and still have the issue. As long as I know it is a known bug, I won't worry too much about it. New to the scene and messing around with the different ports. Worst comes to worst, there is always vanilla. -

Sadly that's a problem with the Ultimate Weapons mod that I assume you are using from the optional PK3's folder. It has so many effects and particles that the engine runs out of space to create more. It's an issue the original coder is aware of I believe but he's on hiatus right now, so I'm not sure if it will be fixed. The workaround is to remove that pk3. It usually is only an issue on that mission, or if you use every single weapon. -

Jedi Academy: Enhanced
So I've started to get spawning issues, the two that stuck out the most were Vjun_3 where the part of the floor that breaks in the cutscene was pre-broken. Also, on Tanaab (Rancor Chase), none of the destructible boxes spawn and the doors have no model or texture to them (pictured). What did I break? (64 bit version) -

There's two cvars that need to be enabled for proper lighting on that map. r_hdr and r_floatLightmap. In the linked ui mod its the HDR and the HDR Lighting support options. The HDR setting does not refer to HDR monitor output, but calculating all colors in a bigger colorspace. Suggested cvars would be r_cubemapping 1; r_deluxemapping 1; r_parallaxMapping 1; r_tonemapping 1; r_autoexposure 1; r_hdr 1; r_floatLightmap 1 followed by a vid_restart- 1
