  1. BGMod (Better Graphics for JKA)

    Very Late but finally here we have one version of the BGMod, featuring reedited textures, enhanced, sharpened, and new shadows applied and new lightmaps.
     
    THIS MOD IS NOT RELEASED BY LUCASARTS AND IT IS NOT GUARANTEED TO WORK ON ALL SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS
     
    THIS MOD WAS CREATED USING THE ORIGINAL LUCAS ARTS RELEASED TEXTURES FOR JEDI KNOGHT ACEDEMY, THE REST OF THE WORK GOES TO THE GRAFSOFT TEAM

    This mod does not modify gameplay at all, it only enhances graphics and yet textures are smaller in size than before.
    This mod is not an actual gameplay modification, so it applies for any mod you have already, if you prefer BASE and PURE servers there is no problem, this mod runs on PURE servers.
    All maps have been remade, objects are still the same, we will soon release the next version where hopefully all objects from original JKA will be enhanced.
     
    I also included My good friends saber hilt in this mod: The NRN saber, thank you Arbiter for your great work....
     
    This mod has been tested on the following:

    For best BGmod impressions we recommend lowering your game brightness with 10-15%
     
    On the configurations mentioned above the game ran with 28-34 Frames per Second (minimum) after the mod was applied, before mod apply users had 29-36 (minimum) FPS depending on the map.

  2. BGMod BESPIN (Better Graphics for JKA)

    This is NOT an actually game play modification, it does not mofidy your games tyle or damages, it is a pure texture modification.
     
    Enhances textures on Multiplayer Map Bespin.
     
    This mod is for JKA multiplayer and bespin map only so far.
     
    This has been yet tested on the following video cards on a Pentium 4, 3GHz, 1GB RAM configuration:

    ATI RADEON X1300 PRO 256 MB
     
    This mod will work on all other video cards that LucasArts recommends or you have been using until now.

  3. New Force Lightning Pack

    This mod is basically to give Force lightning new looks, nothing has changed on the game rule, like lightning hit range or damage rate.
    some of my lightnings doesn't even come out from your palm. but instead from ground
    Most lightings has wall impact effect, though they only appear on SP mode not on MP, so if you want to fully see the effects, try them on SP
    Some of the lightnings just doesn't look good at all in MP so I put them in the folder "SP only". Use the screenshots as your index
     

    Force_Beam : a single beam shoots out from your palm. it burns on the wall, so you can write something
    Force_BeamGreen : green beam, thicker than the 1st one, and burns larger area on the wall.
    Force_BeamRed : red, evil beam, burns with red flame. different texture to the other 2.
    Force_BeamSuper : kaaaa...meeee.....haaaaa.....meeeee......! (SP ONLY)
     
    Force_ElectBlue : electricity comes out from ground or walls, and can shoot high up to the sky.(SP ONLY)
    Force_ElectRed : electricity comes out from ground or walls like spikes, depends on where you point it.(SP ONLY)
    Force_ElectBlue2 : send a blue lightning orb in the air which spray lightnings.
    Force_ElectRed2 : send a red lightning orb in the air which spray lightnings.
     
    Force_Fire : flame burst radiate from your hand, burns on wall.
    Force_FireGreen : you are the fire-starter, flame rises from ground any where you go.(SP ONLY)
    Force_FireRed : just call 911! (SP ONLY)
    Force_LaserGreen : rapid laser shots, shooting star like laser shots.
    Force_LaserRed : rapid laser shots, shooting star like laser shots...............oh, you can't deflect them.
    Force_LaserMulti : multi color!
     
    Force_Snow : Maaaarry X'mas! a spray of snow flakes, when they touch the wall, more flakes
    Force_Web : Spider web!

  4. New Force Lightning Pack 2

    This mod is basically to give Force lightning new looks, nothing has changed on the game rule, like lightning hit range or damage rate.
     
    Force_Ifrit : summon Ifrit and burn the ground! *level3 lightning effect is different to level 1,2
    Force_Ifrit2 : a purple Ifrit who will burst into flame. to burn the others I mean.. ?
    Force_Shiva : summon Shiva and there is snow everywhere you go. *level3 lightning effect is different to level 1,2
    Force_Shiva2 : a purple Shiva will strike a sexy pose for you.
     
    Force_Bat : bats! lots bats! Dracula is so happy
    Force_Bird : birds! enjoy watching them fly and wish for world peace.. or run like Hitchcock!
    Force_Ivy : ivy? tree? little plant? will grow from ground for no reason. the effect between SP and MP is a little different.
    Force_Death : summon Death with flame from hell, time for somebody to die! *level3 lightning effect is different to level 1,2
     
    Force_BeamZ : this is a shot of purple beam witch will bend back from wall to wall.
    Force_Ice : an icy beam which will create ice on where it hits.
    Force_ElectBlue3: burst of straight blue electricity from wall to wall, and another wall.
    Force_ElectRed3 : burst of zigzagged red electricity.

    This configuration file is for those server providers and mp game solo players who dont know how to scale models themselves.
     
    This file includes all yoda and vandar models i am aware of, younglings, SBDs, new nihilus skin and more as well as all old skins.
     
    This is for JA+ servers and it wont work in standart baseJKA multiplayer

  8. Clone Wars Stances and Effects Mod

    This mod alters the games animations and stances..alot. Looking for a more familiar feeling like in battefront, EPIII the game, or jedi power battles? well this is that mod bringing new stances and swings, jumps, taunts, running, walking, the list goes on. also included in the mod is new lightning effects, saber blades, and clashing effects along with new sounds for all of that. plus star wars hilt overwrites that have their own specific qualities for each. Sounds complicated? well to make it more complex I have made it compatible with Moviebattles II, forcemod3, Ja+. The previous versions of the this mod share some of the same stuff although added tweaks and a few changes here and there make it better.I have scrapped the OJP feature more likely due to that projects work is so hard and fast that I dont want to mess with it.
     
    If for whatever reason you'd like to remove some of the added animations feel free to just use pakscape and copy the base animations you would want and replace it in the CW6 animation.cfg A more detailed process can be given if you just PM me.

  9. Throwable Stuff

    Remember how Yoda ripped the X-Wing out of the swamp in ESB? Ever wanted to follow his lead? Well, now you can! This pack here contains a collection of (mainly) baseJA map objects that have been tampered with and can now be gripped, pushed, pulled and generally used to smack others around. Great fun, I assure you.
     
    Now, this pack is a whole lot more fun in SP, where you can just flip out, give yourself a godly reserve of Force power and go wild. Unfortunately the MP portion of the game won't allow you to use two force powers at the same time (like grip and push, which is pretty much what this pack relies on), but they're still fun in online bouts. For extra enjoyment use a cheat to set the game's knockback level higher (g_knockback 4000 should be adequate, although 10000 and up is made of awesome) and take full advantage of your ability to push a half-ton crate into some poor shmuck's nose.
     
    In closing, I would like to paraphrase a few lines from Conan the Barbarian. What is good about the Force? You can use it to crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women.
     
    ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ASSETS, TO MAKE YOUR OWN THROWABLE STUFF (assets.zip)
     
    The basic resources needed to make stuff awesome. Or, in other words, to make random stuff susceptible to Force powers. The skeleton was made with 3ds Max 5, so unfortunately only Max users can make stuff awesome.
     
    THE MAKING OF THE AWESOMENESS

    Basically the process is the same as compiling a player model.
    1) Make a model
    Keep the lowest vert at -24 standard Max units.
    2) Weigh it to the skeleton provided
    Rig the model to Bone01, Bone02 is used for the (empty) animation.
    3) Link the mesh to the mesh_root dummy
    4) Export as root.xsi into the "_throwable" folder
    5) Open Assimilate, add _throwable.gla, compile
    6) Create a .npc file
    7) Pack it, test it, bask in your own glory

    Really cool: if you hit someone for the first time in a while, there's a big ring splat.
     
    It is better in single player than in multiplayer.
     
    This mod declares "helpusobi 1" to facilitate singleplayer cheating.

  12. bloodPLUS Gore/Dismemberment Mod v1.5 & v3.1

    This mod attempts to provide a more immersive hack-slash experience than the default sparks and sparkles that get chucked out when you stab someone normally (or shoot - this mod works with guns as well, with the exception of the Stouker). I was obsessed with the game BloodRayne at the time of authoring this so it may bear some resemblance. This mod comes in two versions - 1.5 and 3.1.
     
    1.5 - lots of big, wide sprites (I think that's what they're called) all over the place; emphasis on volume and area coverage. Extreme dismemberment and small red puff-clouds on gun and saber impacts. Saber impact and particle splatting sounds may be a little loud, but I like the explosive water-baloon-popping sort of aura they help create.
     
    3.1 - a move toward smaller textures that spurt more often. More diversity within the sprites themselves and a trend toward more splatter but less red (less ground coverage). Same amount of dismemberment. Added tails (for us nerds who know what those are) to go jetting out on saber hits and paste small bits of gore wherever they land. The downside is that with so many more images getting drawn everywhere, the game erases old sprites in order to let the new ones land, so sometimes it looks like the blood's evaporating wicked fast as new blood lands on the ground. For this reason, 3.1 may be more suited to single player, when there tends to be more time between killings. The sounds in 3.1 are a bit less splooshy and more splattery.
     
    This mod also declares "helpusobi 1" to facilitate singleplayer cheating.

  14. Telekinesis

    'Telekinesis' replaces various force power animations to make force grip, push and pull more spectacular. Also, as force grip no longer actually chokes the victim, it does no damage other than impact damage on objects. To install, just put zzTelekinesis.pk3 in your JKA base folder. Enjoy!

    The crosshairs are less tranparent with no shaded area.
    They are in pair: one with the red dot, the other with
    a white dot.
     
    This mini-mod also work on Jedi Outcast, except that
    one of the crosshair got the ''missing texture'' texture.

  19. Star Wars - Project: Nexus HUD

    his is the Heads-Up-Display for the WIP single-player total conversion, Star Wars - Project: Nexus. I have decided to release this ahead of the mod release after it received considerable interest from some promo screenshots, since that's the sort of kindly person I am!
     
    This is only the HUD, it does not include any other mod content including the new menus and datapad (Not that the datapad would be of any use in Base JKA anyway)

  23. Lightning Effects

    This mod alters the visual effect of Force Lightning. The effects are loosely based on the PS3 game InFamous, but altered sufficiently to work effectively within JKA. Levels 1 and 2 use a single bolt of lightning launched from the hand, whilst level 3 calls down a large lightning strike from above.
     
    This is not the final iteration of this mod, and further versions will be incorporated as part of the Medium of Darkness mod ( http://www.moddb.com/mods/medium-of-darkness ).     This MOD changes effect of Force Heal like White Magic CURE
    of the video game "Final Fantasy".
     
    Furthermore, the sound which was suitable for this effect was added.
     
    Two kinds of new effect's are in this MOD.
    (One is used with JA+MOD.)
     
    Incidentally, an effect image isn't being made at all.
    I changed only effect data newly.
     
    I included the sound (It is the same sound.) of Force Team Heal, too.
    But, I have never used Force Team Heal...

    Tentatively, this MOD can be used for [JA+ MOD 2.3] as well.
     
    Put z_FF_Cure.pk3 in the japlus folder when you use it with JA+MOD.

    The icon which appears when a chat and menu screen of a multi-play are
    displayed becomes showy in this MOD.
     
    The chat icon of the default is thought to be a little plain.
    That icon wasn't so conspicuous when I was doing a multi-player.
    Therefore, I made some new chat icons.
     
    It thinks that it can be prevented from attacking a player by mistake.
    (But there will not be a meaning if other players do not put same MOD...)
     
    These are thought to be good when it is used with CLAN.
