Glorified tech demo is hardly kotor. If you remake something you should at least imitate the atmosphere to some extent.

Besides their "level design" didn't capture the atmosphere of Kotor or even of Star Wars in the first place.

And nothing of value was lost. Their project wasn't a genuine attempt to modernize the game just like the supposed Battlefront II Remake called Galaxy in Turmoil where the C&D was all a part of their incredibly obvious marketing ploy that nearly everyone still fell for

Also there's much more to being the president of lucasfilms than just producing movies

What I mean is that Lucas has never produced the Star Wars movies, he only directed them. Rick McCallum and Gary Kurtz produced the movies during both trilogies.

What? George Lucas had directed two successful movies(American Graffiti and THX 1138) before ANH was even made, hell he didn't even produce any star wars film. Filoni only produced one movie which was TCW... Which isn't exactly the best movie. I don't like KK either, but there's clearly no person that could take her place.

Genuine question. Who would you even replace her with? Don't say Filoni because he has no experience in handling a big company. Star Wars version of Kevin Feige simply doesn't exist.

I'm doubting that anything good would come out of Apeiron since they're just focusing on the graphics. If anybody were to remake the game they should focus on the gameplay first rather than the level design and graphics.

Well to be fair OpenJK still counts as a modification, just to the engine.

Not that I deny it but Unreal is much more workable around than CryEngine.

EA doesn't like fan games, besides CryEngine is just a shiny turd. Unity would do a better job for a game or even Unreal.
