Unrelated to SW but they're finally remaking Resident Evil 2, hopefully it'll be as good as the first.

Seriously considering buying a Wacom Cintiq since they aren't as expensive as they used to be.

Actually i dont find it difficult, i have the medium version and it covers the screen range just fine. I know some have mentioned they didnt like working on their over sized intuos, makes the extra hand traveling unecessary and tiring. Maybe if i tried one i'd find it better and would dump my relic.

Just scored a MINT copy of Soul Reaver for Dreamcast. If it were not for being wrapped you'd swear it was new.

Does anyone know if map objects can use LODs?

I think LODs on MD3 map objects would only work with misc_model_static entities. misc_model entities are baked into the BSP file (so only takes the 0th LOD). Like Ramikad said, MD3 LODs work by creating *separate* MD3 files of the same name, but with _1, _2, etc appended to the name. e.g. rock.md3, rock_1.md3, rock_2.md3

I can't believe there are people out there that think it's ok to have Hayden Christensen as a ghost at the end of RotJ.

Been going crazy with PS2 modding, running backups, using a USB drive to transfer saves and using an old IDE drive to save games to. Bye bye dics.

Yeah, Front Mission 4 works but it can be very laggy when the attack animations play as well as really messed up shadows. Tried some suggestions from others but for some reason I could never resolve it. I would like to try the netplay though with my friend only because netplay is no longer possible and it's Front Mission 5 which was Japan only, somehow someone modded the .iso so it has English subs as well as menus.

Sorry my DF2 updates have been lacking, living with 3 other people that are like hardcore competitive gamers and they all skate as well so nothing gets done around here haha.

FINALLY got the internet turned on at the new place after a week without it.
-
Not sure if anyone's gonna use it but taking the time to make a JK2 skeleton for Softimage.
-
Any interest in a JO skeleton similar to the one I released for JA? Easy to view, no clutter and everything organized into groups.
-
My buddy just loaned me his entire DBZ DVD collection, gonna have to dust off the TV that never turns on.
-
Just updated the Softimage tutorial thread and added the next video in the series, all that will be left is export to game.

Thanks mini! I've personally found that tutorial very helpful (even if some parts of it are slightly too technical for me), but it's still missing those crucial steps of getting the model in-game. These last videos should really help to complete it. This tutorial is a really valuable resource to the community.

I know I'm late but chromecast is awesome, watching Super GT races on my TV

Redid the AT-ST UV's since there was a lot of wasted space, that was one difficult game of tetris in a sense. Now to take the time to learn to texture on my own.

Playing for the first time through, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
-
Just picked up a Retrolink N64 controller for PC, identical to the real thing, going hard on the emulator
-
Downloading the Substance Painter trial, for the price it may be worth buying
-
Going crazy trying to solve the U-joints on the AT-ST with a 1 controller does all rig for the "shoulder"
-
Going to spend the day learning ZBrush

Kinda started playing TOR again, wish SWG-Emu was further along. =/
