World is a romantic place, just about anyone you meet, can relate to this situation. You can say that, your way of showing love, is to care about her as a friend. so yeah that doesnt stop you from talking to people or being social, it's out of your hands if you can't afford a car, but it's totally up to yourself to talk with people, even if it's just a smalltalk with the shop clerk. I'm not judging you. I'm saying there is a clear line between enjoying some alone-time, and just bluntly disconnecting yourself from the rest of the world.
