      Ravenfield is pretty good, thanks. @Ping Because i'm a filthy casual who wants multiplayer-type gameplay without a challenge. :P Quake Live is $9.99. Might consider it later when I have money, though. Looks good. Might also try the free demos of Q3 and 2.

      ...and I see no reason why it can't have both, other than to shorten the lifespan of the game so people have to buy the next one, which is probably the real reason why they aren't doing it.

      But I like games with both, like JKA and the old SWBFs. I like multiplayer-style gameplay on AND offline.

      I agree, Circa. I still enjoy the game and will probably enjoy its sequels. I just wish there was more for the solo player. Let's just hope the next one isn't as half-assed. It has a campaign, apparently (or so i've heard). So there's that, at least. #SoloPlayersMatter

      ...at all is because they felt pressured to. I know it's a multiplayer game and all, but I don't wanna have to deal with lag, hackers and empty server just so I can play a certain map or mode, and I don't always want the challenge of going against other players, sometimes I just wanna run around shooting down stupid bots and goof around without having to worry about letting my team down. I used to recommend this game to people. Now I feel like I should tell people to not buy it. T...

      @Rooxon, the engine is actually pretty tough when it comes to models and textures. A guy managed to get models from EA's Battlefront to work in it without problems (Just as a test. Not in any released mod), and i've gotten 4k textures to work in the game. That said, I'd love to see a high-quality KotOR map pack at some point, with locations not seen in the above mentioned mod.

      While that is true, released SWBF2 mods are harder to edit because all the files need to be compressed into a format that cannot be opened in order to work in the game.

    I think I just found out the hard way that there's a limit to how many times you can switch an archive between the .zip and .pk3 formats.

      Hmm... weird. Something I did caused my pk3 to become corrupt. I've been switching it to zip to move files into it, because WinRAR takes way longer to do that for some reason.

      Regardless of where you aim the camera or the diraction you move until you're far away from that character.

      Sometimes when idle your character will look around and sometime their face will start following certain characters. It's kinda creepy.

    I just spent the past week improving the blaster bolt effects in SWBF2. I don't know why that's such a fixation for me.
