  1. You will make my life and so many others so much easier. When it's done, I'll update my saber tutorial and make it shorter thanks to that!
  2. I've just tried out the 2.2 exporter on a skull map object for Circa's Haloween map. First I applied the texture with a standard material: To make sure, I also named the material as models/map_objects/lastnight/skull.png I exported to the same folder, so, models/map_objects/lastnight/ - I very much like the look of this now I'll be testing the LODs soon. Statistics: Everything seems to be in order, the texture later shows in md3view! Regarding those problems of mine with shaders not working, I've set my system's language to english by default and restarted; testing out now.
  3. Yes and no; first, I don't wish for this model or textures get shared or modified elsewhere (At least until the end of the contest). Second, I never played and much less modded Fallout 4 yet, so I'd have to look the process up... BUT if your friend actually has the knowledge himself, AFTER the contest here is done, he may use it and throw it into game himself. In that case, I'll be happy to provide the original normal map, metallic map, whatever fallout needs. But again please do note: AFTER the contest is done.

Death Saber Scythe by Rooxon on Sketchfab INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Copy and paste the r_dsscythe.pk3 from this zip file to your "base" folder, the default path is "C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/Game data/Base" DESCRIPTION: Death Saber Scythe, personal concept by me. Halloween Contest Entry weapon. - Textured in Substance Painter and Adobe Photoshop - Modeled in 3D Studio Max 2016 BUGS: The positions are off; not much I can do about it on my own, it would take tag position fixes on playermodels or 3 separate glm files; for single, dual right hand and dual left hand respectively.
  5. Holy mother of Kyle, this took a while to read. I'll check out some of the downloads but to answer your question; yes, every weapon is gonna get recreated by me. You could add DT's Kyle Reskin. I use it myself and I think that it's an improvement in every sense of the word.
  6. nice recreation
  7. yep, very good but I see faults in all tips of the saber blades, all colors except blue (hard to spot but it's there). maybe on the blue one as well but I can't see it from the screenshot...it looks almost as you've drawn your own line over it and forgot to delete part of the old top
  8. Hohohohohoh. ^^ Already got the PERFECT idea! ^^ Soon, people are gonna fear you in JKA!
  9. well, it was requested. I don't look at designs how good they are, only how to create them.
  10. I gotta say I agree... I never even thought about ripping things from others. If I don't create it on my own, it's not worth the while, really. When I was offered to freely use others work, even then I didn't and rather modeled my own thing around it or something.
  11. Of course it would be but why? I think they fit somehow to the tusken look..

Because, why not. Custom sounds with Snoop Dogg's Smoke Weed Every Day by dankswagmaster! For SP, enable cheats with "helpusobi 1", then type: saber joint For MP, choose the saber from the menu.
  13. well a "moving" whip is out of the question... so I'd kinda need to come up with a nice design for a stationary whip, which would look wierd. I think it's partly impossible to create it and make it look good...

  15. well, it's the Tusken so, I came up with the concept on the go when modeling. I just wanted something simple, something with wood, spikes, leather and showing some chords or the likes. The form is also a bit uneven as they probably wouldn't bother too much to make it look beautiful.
  16. Well the quickest way is for you to copy my .glm file to a folder i.e. saber_1, name it saber_1.glm and it will replace the standard Arbiter model. The longer way is to add it in addition to those 9 that you're able to choose from, yeah.
  17. Not really, no. This is a personal concept I came up with and a hilt I just wanted to create, it's not listed on my to-do list or anywhere else.
  18. TIP: If you want to see the JKA textures in the 3D model view from Sketchfab up above, click on settings in the lower right corner, click on rendering and click on shadeless. Go back to the same menu and click on lit for the material mode!
