Is it weird to lose interest in the series?
TheWhitePhoenix replied to Mert-K's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
Admittedly, some things actually grew on me too from TFA. I used to think the Crossguard Lightsaber was illogical, but after some of the schematics were released, it made sense to me on how it could work. Hell, I'd say that it would work for both the Expanded Universe and Normal Continuity. The X-Wings were another thing that grew on me, albeit I think they should've been the T-85's we keep hearing about instead of the 70s as I think the T-70 should've taken on a hybrid appearance of Ralph McQuarrie's concept art and the final product T-65, with the the T-85's taking on the appearance we know the T-70 for. Also, the T-70s should've been named the T-75, IMO. Finally, I'll say that originally I thought Kylo Ren was a brat, but then he became someone from these movies I might actually sympathize with and like. But even those three weren't enough to stop me from losing my interest. Not to mention, yearly Star Wars stuff gets old real fast. Think of it as it becoming the Call of Duty for movies. You get tired of the series after a while and the series as a whole burns out. -

No, I mean hearing how it's received, then deciding for myself. -

No, it's not just you. I myself don't have an interest in seeing it and would rather hear reviews from some who would as well as clips on the internet. If I do watch it, it'll be either on DVD, Blu-Ray or some movie website. -
*See's Kotor type dialogue in Jedi Academy.* OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NICE!

Jedi Home III - Temple Edition
TheWhitePhoenix replied to AngelModder's topic in WIPs, Teasers & Releases
You have done so much and I'm glad to see that it's nearing finalization. I hope to use this soon cause it's so brilliant, so well done. And they say the third is where the stuff falls apart? HA! Some of the thirds are the best of the trilogy. Some of the thirds are underrated gems(Dark Knight Rising, anyone?). Maybe it'll even get released before Christmas if all goes well. Fingers crossed, dude. -
Who is more Annoying? (Penin vs. Binks)
TheWhitePhoenix replied to Gorc's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
TBH, at least Rosh became less annoying at the end of the game if you chose the Light Side. Hell, even if you kill him in the Dark Side path, he still had experience in his voice and wasn't as naive. Jar Jar on the other hand...so annoying that credit to George Lucas, he just pushed Jar Jar further and further until in Revenge of the Sith, he had no lines. -

contest winner Halloween Town by Langerd
TheWhitePhoenix commented on Langerd's file in Mixed Gametypes
Dude....I don't know what to say. When I saw my name on that gravestone, I just went into fanboyism mode. My name is on a Jedi Academy Map and I never thought that would happen. I'm sure some others who were on this map with their names on gravestones never thought that would happen. I can't express how happy I am to get such an honor. To have your name in a JKA map is to engrave it in the game's community history. Thank you, Langerd. Thank you very much.- 24 comments

I'd only want Lucasfilm to try something like that ONLY IF Kathleen is no longer the CEO of Lucasfilm. Until she retires (or gets fired, you never know), I don't want her touching ANYTHING from KOTOR. The only minor, and I quote minor things I'll accept is Rebels bringing in Malachor since it's technically NOT Malachor V, just Malachor in name only.

Help, my JKA's decided to make a fool out of me!
TheWhitePhoenix replied to Rooxon's topic in Jedi Knight Tech Support
This is why I made sure to keep my CDs in pristine condition. However, I did also buy the Steam version just to be safe. -
I must say, compared to my machinimas, you've got me beat. However, this also could be inspiring to me too. Well done.

Is there a Hell in Star Wars?
TheWhitePhoenix replied to Gorc's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
The EU also referred to it as "Chaos". Kinda fitting. -

The path of the Apprentice
TheWhitePhoenix replied to dark_apprentice's topic in WIPs, Teasers & Releases
@@dark_apprentice I must ask, have you considered releasing any of the more recent stuff in the future? I'd like to have that Kylo Ren EP8 Version myself. -
Tompa, these look BAD-ASS. But one thing did pop into my head. Are you gonna do the Season 3 onwards variants of these or are these gonna be the only Clone Wars versions of Anakin and Obi-Wan? Just wanted to ask.

I was talking about your previous revision of the textures not the original, but this one looks even better. -
