    New Battlefront 2 trailer is out and there's only 4 seconds of prequel content shown and plenty of what we've already seen in the first game. Looking forward to the $50 season pass for half of the game again.

      Let me clarify - I don't agree with it, but I consider giving people the choice to pay extra for purely cosmetic things to be a lot different (and more tolerable) than a pay2win scenario where people are forced to use microtransactions to actually stay competitive in a game.

      It depends how it is enacted, of course. A lootbox-style approach for purely cosmetic items (character skins, ship paintjobs, whatever) is all fine and dandy. But if it involves better gear, altering stats etc, then it effectively becomes pay2win which would be problematic.

      Common speculation is that they won't have a season pass but will instead be opting for a loot-box approach. Eesh.

      In fairness, people don't have to look through the massive WIP threads to check if something is being worked on before requesting it. We have a search feature that they can use.

    Question: What are your guys views on brutal honesty and translating it into legitimately critiquing others' work. I.E. Models or kitbashes?

      Noodle pretty much hit the nail on the head. 'Brutality' doesn't concern me, but I do feel it is a waste of time if it isn't accompanied by something constructive.

      They may yet renew the license. Two big-hitters like Netflix and Disney? Probably fairly common to leave things relatively late before renewing in order to secure the best price.

       

      Either that or Netflix don't believe it is worth the license if the viewing figures in the past year have been down. To be honest, most people who want to keep rewatching the Clone Wars probably have it on DVD/Blu-Ray at this point.
