  1. It's a pity there are not more Star Wars assets for Source Filmmaker. Having a lot of fun learning how to animate in that.

Have you tried using Blender for animations? It'd seem it's a good alternative, as far as I've seen.

  2. To be fair, the "time travel" seems limited and of the 'closed loop' variety which I'm less worried about (though I would rather they stayed away from that entirely). What I mean by that is that nothing suggests what Ezra did during the Ahsoka-Vader fight was actually any different to what had always happened. We know from the original Season 2 finale that A) Ahsoka is last seen fighting Vader, B) Vader walks away alone and C) Ahsoka is glimpsed disappearing into the ruins. Showing that Ezra did what he did in interfering via the portals doesn't mean he actually changed anything, but rather him doing so was always how we got from A to C. This is why Ezra could not save Kanan - when Kanan died, Ezra had already made the decision not to save him. Closed loop. Likewise, the Emperor says he wants the power to visit and change these pathways but we already know he doesn't get it because otherwise the past would already be different to what we have seen. Palpatine himself doesn't understand that the power he is seeking is truly beyond his grasp or else he would have already benefited from it. If we saw someone go back through the portals to, say, stop Alderaan from being blown up then that would be a different story since it would be a case of them actually changing the course of events rather than the portal simply being part of the course of events. Ugh, does that make sense? Even talking about time travel stuff makes my head hurt.
  3. Man, Scerendo's coming in hot with those new models.
  4. That's 'The Senate' to the likes of you.
  5. Did you also confirm there are no duplicated names in either the Object, Object Data or Ghoul 2 boxes? The last one catches out a lot of people.
  6. Yep, as Ashura says it needs to be inserted into the hierarchy. Under the Object tab, there should be a 'parent' box. If you click on the head, for example, this will say it is parented to the torso. In a newly separated mesh this will be blank. EDIT: Upon seeing Pic 2, it just occurred to me to make sure you have renamed the new surface correctly in the .GLM exporter settings (scroll down on the Object tab currently open in Pic 2). Also check that you have renamed it correctly in the Object Data (not the same as the Object tab in Pic 2) tab. One note - when "slicing and dicing" away parts of a model this can lead to further issues during export but we'll see what happens when you try to export it with the correct hierarchy first.
  7. Head-swaps might be possible, but full blown conversions to KOTOR are unlikely. For the texture conversion you could do that yourself fairly simply with a free software like GIMP, should allow you to open the texture files in their current .jpeg / .png and resave them as .tga
  8. Be careful with buying on Turbosquid, a number of times they're just selling ported models - particularly for Star Wars things.
  9. Once you have the base model/texture done I'd be happy to help out with making some of the skin variants.
  10. I can sort of see Iain Glen as Jerec, though personally I think he would be better suited for Morgan Katarn. I could see a slightly younger Bill Nighy doing the role of Jerec justice. Kristen Bell and Joe Dempsie as Sariss and Yun? Have to respectfully disagree with OP on those Additional cast suggestions: Qu Rahn - Jeffrey Wright Tavion - Eva Green Admiral Fyarr - Kevin Eldon
  11. I recommend having a look on Roll20 - it allows you to play online and you can even filter searches by game/timezone preferences and whether or not games are happy to take on first-timers (most are!)
  12. I know most will go with Han - but to be honest, ESB proves Lando knows how to get the drop on him.
  13. Hey, nice to see a Tales shout-out! To address OP's point, I would say Jedi are encouraged to use their powers as a form of therapy to help those in need. I don't know that they would agree with the morality of using mind tricks to achieve these aims though - they are effectively "tricking" the patient into believing they are well instead of helping them reach that place of healing of their own volition.
  14. The Dark Pasttime mod will also feature Bothans.
  15. Looks very good, looking forward to trying it out.
  16. This was pretty much me until a few months ago. I think the Internet has really helped let things like this gain popularity. There are dedicate sites (like Roll20.net) designed entirely to facilitate RPG groups, so you know longer need to worry about meeting up in person with the same group each week. You can just boot up Skype, log in to a gaming website and get started. If you want to try it out I recommend checking out Roll20. There's a lot of games out there and they even come with a filter system so you can find ones listed as "beginner friendly" for those wanting to learn the ropes. Definitely agree with this. I was aware of DnD but never played it as the rules are an absolute behemoth and it is very focused on dice rolls and what specific results mean. The Star Wars game has its own 'narrative dice system' where the story and collaboration between the GM and the players are balanced against the dice results. It's hard to explain without seeing it in action but the result is less "I strike the enemy with my +4 Axe of Icefire" and feels far more like a scene from a Star Wars movie. Heck, if there's enough interest I could even look into setting up a group of Hub members to play a campaign.
  17. So I don't think I've seen a topic discussing this before. Just wondering if anyone in the JKHub community has ever played the Star Wars tabletop RPG by Fantasy Flight Games: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/starwarsrpg/ For those who don't know what is meant by the term 'tabletop RPG' just think of Dungeons & Dragons but in the galaxy far far away. I recently got into it and have just started GMing a solo campaign with a friend - any other players here or folks considering trying it out? Let discussion commence!
  18. That's definitely not a Force Arena model. I play that game, and they're not in it - and there's no way a mobile game would have higher-res models than SWTOR (or even remotely close).
