  1. Not that I know of. Would be a nice feature of OpenJK, though it might require a menu edit as well.
  2. I've never seen that issue happen before, so it can't be anything that can't be fixed. Changing lines in a skin file is one of the most basic forms of modding for this game. Assuming you won't be able to do it is selling yourself short. I just did it in 30 seconds. It worked fine, no issues like what you're describing. You just need to open up model_default.skin and replace the "stormtrooper" word in each line to say "kyle" instead. A faster way to do this is press Control + F to bring up find & replace, type stormtrooper in the Find box and kyle in the Replace box and hit enter. Save the file in the pk3 and it should work fine. If you can get this to work, perhaps it will spark an interest in more in-depth modding for you.
  3. You need to also change the texture lines in the .skin files of the folder. Especially since you are using a newer stormtrooper model.
  4. Playerbase is fairly low now compared to the past year, however it's pretty high still compared to the last few years. The new SW films and Steam sales have helped to boost the amount of new and returning players in the community. I run a basejka server and clan if you're interested in checking us out. We met in-game once not too long ago when you saw we used your Sirens Enclave map. You say you're interested in JA+ but feel free to stop by our base server sometime. /connect so.jk3.in

Not possible currently I don't think, though it has been requested multiple times for OpenJK already, I believe. Would be nice to at least support more than it does. Not sure 100 is possible, but I really don't know how that all works.
  6. Also keep in mind you just gotta press the Tab button to refresh all models currently being used. If someone changes their model, they will appear as your current model until you press tab.

      Block NPC more or less just says hey bot avoid this area, but they can still go into it if the circumstances are right or wrong.

      So it doesn't actually work for NPCs? I set a few of those brushes up but they still go right through them.

      Indeed, it MAY do more in say SP, I'm not sure tbh about that one. Refer to this page for more info on it. I recently had to brush up on a lot of the old system shit myself http://q3map2.everyonelookbusy.net/shader_manual/ch4.htm A short way down it talks about blockbot Which is essentially what you're using. NOW I may be wrong again but I want to say theirs a type of clip etc that DOES block NPC's only. However I am unsure.

  8. You should be able to create a poll by edited the first post of your thread. Not sure why you asked this in Mod requests. I would have replied instantly if it was in Ideas & Issues.
  9. Definitely more than 16. But it might depend on the size of the NPC models or the poly count and all that stuff. There's a map we use for trials on my server that always crashes at a certain point unless you kill all the NPCs in this one room that spawns like 30. That's in addition to a few more spawned previously in the map that weren't killed.
  10. That would be cool, yeah. I think the main issue I have is that the transitions themselves were a bit much. If you just had the pictures change without any fancy PowerPoint-esque transitions, I'd be fine with that too. I just wasn't a fan of those.

  14. @@NAB622 I've noticed this since enabling flags again, but every few refreshes, it gives a 404 for the flag SVG file. Looks like it's not registering which file name to use, because it says it's using just http://paratracker.dogi.us/flags/.svg. But then sometimes it's fine.

  20. Oh, well that would be a lot of maps! Definitely don't go through that much trouble. I think RaceArena would be fine. Not having levelshots for a few of them is fine. Plus, the clan map is not done yet.
  21. Well, I think Palpatine was obsessed with immortalizing himself and his legacy. Setting up a backup plan like that makes perfect sense for him. I mean, in Legends he made clones of himself as a backup plan, right? Creating droids to carry out his own personal orders makes sense. I doubt they would serve as a long term plan, due to lack of programming to lasts that long. Though it would be more interesting to see Thrawn take command of the Empire. We know Thrawn is canon but we don't know if he survives through the films yet.
