  1. The cg_shadows 3 (iirc) effect is kind of cool and doesn't lag on my old computer. I mean the one where only an opaque black stencil shadow appears on the floor for each character and vehicle. But I was wondering, is it possible to make the shadow semi transparent instead of opaque? It looks kind of weird when it's just solid black.
  2. Okay I added a new version that includes an extra PK3 that you can use instead of the original to replace the name of Blenjeel. I made a holographic animation for the planet but it doesn't spin like the default ones. The planet level itself is still unchanged though so it still looks like Blenjeel.

  4. Thanks! You guys are right, Blenjeel really seems like a much better choice now. Also iirc the Blenjeel level had its own unique sky textures so maybe they can be changed to show the skyline of Jakku with crashed ships and stuff. Besides the whole being alone in a desert thing.

    This is a very tiny mod. What it does is simply change the mission info screens to refer to the first mission (the Tatooine mercenaries one) as if it takes place in Jakku instead of Tatooine. References to Tatooine and Mos Eisley were changed for that mission in the text. Also 2 voice lines referring to Tatooine/Mos Eisley were edited so they don't say it. There's an extra planet circle in the galaxy screen and the planet photo is different too but I didn't animate it, sorry. I thought this made sense since the Millenium Falcon is parked there (this could be when Han loses it?) and since Jakku and Tatooine look exactly the same, let's be honest. I haven't changed anything in the map, the NPCs or the mission itself, maybe I will in a future release. Let me know if there's some glitch with it. EDIT: Added an alternative pk3 which makes it replace Blenjeel instead.

  13. HORSES!!! I really think horses belong in the Star Wars Universe, there were some in one of the Ewok movies if I recall correctly. Can't wait to see a Stormtrooper riding it EDIT: Neat

    This mod replaces the unused jawa gun from the game with a gun that fires invisible blaster bolts very fast while producing a flamethrower effect. The invisible blaster shots don't produce a blaster sound so the effect is somewhat convincing. You can use it yourself but I intended it mostly for NPCs so that's why the flames go down to the floor when you fire it (it shouldn't look too bad though, judge for yourself ). You can use it to kill stormtroopers. Jedis may "deflect" some invisible bolts back at you but you can still manage to kill them with this. I included a red swamptrooper NPC file that uses this weapon if you want to test it. The weapon model is basically the default concussion missile gun, in a separate folder so if you modded it, this gun still uses the default one. I was too lazy to change it or retexture it, sorry. Bugs: -Since it replaces the jawa gun you can't scroll to it in the HUD when you have it, you can only use it when you get it by cheat -The flames follow your crosshair when you turn around -The invisible blasters have a longer range and are faster than the flames. And they leave a blaster shot mark on the walls and floor of course. -Jedis may deflect some of these blaster bolts. You as the player can basically walk around the flames with your saber on and be almost immune to it. -It looks kind of stupid sometimes I kind of wanted to make a new level for the game to introduce this weapon as a surprise with Imperial troops using it, but that was aiming too high for now so here you have the weapon by itself. Feel free to use it for whatever you want. Thanks for checking this out and I hope you like it.

  16. When I drive the AT-ST from the level where that Imperial guy takes you prisoner and wants to hunt you, it works fine. But if I try the AT-ST that spawns when you type "npc spawn vehicle atst_vehicle", I can't select the AT-ST weapons, only the lightsaber, so I can't shoot. And when I move the mouse around to aim, it doesn't turn its head, it turns the entire body. So for example when I move the mouse forwards to aim down, the AT-ST looks like it's doing the Michael Jackson anti gravity lean I have the same problem with any "walker" type of vehicle I download as well. I'm using patch 101. I tried starting a new game with no mods but the problem remains. Is this problem normal? Thanks

  19. Hi. I just read that in the E3 back when Jedi Outcast was about to come out, there was a video where the game had blood, and I saw that the effect names in the files have the word "blood". So I was wondering, does anyone have that old video of the game? And do you know if there's a blood mod that looks the most like Jedi Outcast did before it was censored? I saw two videos on youtube of JK in the E3 but the low quality doesn't let me notice if there's blood in them or not and I'm curious about this. Also, I got one mod for JKA from Mrwonko's site that turns the lightsaber flesh cutting smoke to red, it's really cool but it makes the assassin droid bleed as well is this defined by the NPC class? (for example protocol droids and R2s don't bleed, they just explode) Thanks!
