  1. @kiririnshi01 I assume that in order to change the folder, you have to modify the code of OpenJK. But because I'm no coder, I can't help you with this. Do you know a solution for his problem, @ent?
  2. @mrwonko @LusoJedi Just found that tool.
  3. Both jumps are good in their own way and take advantage of their game mechanics. In Dark Forces II, there is a lot of platforming, so jumping is necessary to reach certain parts easily. Jedi Outcast/Academy on the other hand is more combat oriented. A charged jump wouldn't really make sense there, because you have to react quickly. Keep in mind, especially Jedi Academy has a very acrobatic combat style compared to Dark Forces II, so it would look silly if the player jumps twenty feet high just to dodge an attack. But it would still be interesting to see the charged jump in Outcast/Academy. If there is a way to add a level 4, maybe it should be put in there.
  4. Welcome to JKHub, @Apollo1. Over the years, tons of lightsaber mods have been made. Therefore, it is hard to tell which mod is the one you're looking for. But here are some Episode 2 and Episode 3 blades. If you are looking for specific blades, I suggest you take a look at the cosmetic mods of our file section. https://jkhub.org/files/category/10-cosmetic-mods/
  5. And what about the original game designers? In fact, it's their "God's work", because they are the reason why these models exist in the first place. Porting models is nothing compared to actually creating them. To put it into perspective: Would you tell someone who has printed a picture made by someone else that he is a great artist? I'm sorry to be the smartass here, but it had to be said. We should all remember that creative minds have spent hours to create just one of the models displayed here. And that shouldn't be taken for granted.
  6. @Foxus I moved your topic to the appropriate section, and I changed the title for better understanding. The armor shouldn't be that difficult to make. We have similar looking models that could serve as a perfect basis.
  7. The least possible thing that can be done right now is his head. It's too early for other details. We can talk about other details once he appears again, if he does. Until then, we have to be patient.
  8. I admit that I have reacted too quickly. After all, his topic is filled with a lot of requests. I apologize for that.
  9. @Lolok I moved your request to a new topic. Jeff's WIP has enough requests.
  10. @Marnypopis As far as I'm concerned, KotF is no longer in development, as the team has disbanded. So don't expect any quick answer. Maybe you should go to Galactic Legacy instead, which was made by Linken and some of the other former KotF members: https://www.moddb.com/mods/swgl
  11. I think you've already answered your question.
  12. You can suggest as much as you want. But please use the appropriate section for that: https://jkhub.org/forums/forum/12-mod-requests-suggestions/
  13. This reminds me of the gravity boots mod somebody made for Crysis, which worked like magnetic boots. As far as I know, it's not the map that needs to be modified, but the gameplay mechanic itself. Modifying Jedi Academy to allow the player to walk on walls could be tricky, but it would be interesting to see.
  14. @Lord Of Hate @Peprykus @kibasennin @BlindDaThief Before the whole topic goes off-topic (again), I suggest you all continue this conversation in another topic. I just created one for this purpose.
  15. Greetings, my friends. This topic is dedicated to all the fans of the Star Wars Legends continuity in all its forms, be it comics, books or even games. One more thing: Keep it civil, guys. Talk about what you want (so long as it's EU/Legends related) and have fun. Personally, I am not really into the Legends continuity. While I have watched the Ewok films and played many of the games outside of the Jedi Knight series (Republic Commando, KotOR, The Force Unleashed, Shadows of the Empire and the Rogue Squadron games), I have payed little attention to other material. I own several books, but I never finished them. Star Wars is always supposed to be visual for me, and I find it hard to imagine new characters if I don't have a visual basis to work with. But who knows, maybe I get over it one day and start the books again.
  16. This map is awesome. It's also from one of my favourite episodes! It has the potential to be far more than just a FFA map. I see it as a map that gives you a certain mission, which requires stealth and tactics, just like in the show. It would be a shame if it becomes like one of those exclusive Moviebattles II maps in which the players are aimlessly shooting through the hallways.
  17. You can't spawn this model at all. However, you can convert it into throwable model, just like those in this mod.
  18. @UM-3154 Do you have anything you can show us? Because if you don't, why did you start this topic at all?
  19. Even though it is based on a character from another game, you are creating the whole model from scratch. That, technically, also counts as original, because you didn't port anything. Also, I hope you don't mind that I changed the topic's title. It's just for better understanding.
  20. @zahar I renamed the topic, as the old title was a bit too long. Of course you can upload your work here, so long as it doesn't contain ported material from other games. If it contains custom content made by modders, obtain their permission first, credit them and you're good to go.
  21. If there were any updates, @Rmvsallen would've probably provided them already. But since his last activity here was in February 2018, I doubt that we'll get any more updates. Maybe he has just moved on to other projects, which is not uncommon.
  22. Better ask this question in the General Modding Discussions section.
