I hope so. You can post your results here if you like.

I actually did enhance some Dark Forces 2 cutscenes, but I wasn't satisfied with them. Even after enhancement, they were too pixelated. Another problem was that, depending on the length of the cutscene and the quality settings, the process would take many hours. The cutscenes from Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast were more convenient, as the source material had a decent quality (which needed little adjustments) and the results were better. The software I used was Topaz Video Enhance AI.

Yes, it requires a jailbroken console for that.

Right now, this mod is like these Left Twix vs Right Twix commercials: Nevertheless, I'm wishing the developers of KotF 2.1 and Galactic Legacy best of luck in creating their own version of a sandbox mod.

If you are already working on other maps, don't start another one. You will never finish a map if you continue like that. Just work on one map, finish it and move on to the next one. Instead of working on multiple maps at the same time, you could make a list of maps you would like to make in the future.
-
@ZeroRaven It's simple: Just extract the models folder from the PK3 into the base folder, all while keeping the actual PK3 file in the base folder as well.
-
What about your other maps? Finish those first before tackling the next. Focus on the quality of your maps, not the quantity.

I think that splitting one mod into two mods, while both are essentially the same mod, is ridiculous. How did this mod become this large in the first place? Because you were working as a team. Disagreements can happen, but there is always a solution for that. So get your act together and join forces again, because anything else won't do this mod any good.

Please stop littering this topic with requests. There is a section for that, use it: https://jkhub.org/forums/forum/12-mod-requests-suggestions/ After all, this is a topic for Jeff's work, not for request collection.

You know how to drag and drop files from one folder to another? Just do it exactly like that. Take the zip-file and drag it on the field where the cloud icon is. You know what I mean?
-
Just put the zip-file in the drag-and-drop field. Or click on the Select file... button and go to the folder where the file is located. That's it.
-
@TingaTingaJK Of course it is possible to upload .zip-files here. It's actually required. If you have a mod to share, just put the pk3 in the zip-file and upload it. And don't forget to put add a Read Me file (a description of the mod).
-
Where do you want to upload them? Here on the forum or in the mod section?
-
Already done. https://jkhub.org/files/file/2726-enhanced-anakin-solo/ The skin was made for Jedi Outcast, but it should be compatible with Jedi Academy as well. It may not be perfect, but at least somebody made him.

As bot files usually come with character models, a separate category specifically for them is not really necessary. However, if you just have bots, pick a category that may be better. I would suggest Cosmetic Mods.

Great to see that Jedi Academy has finally arrived on modern systems. But I don't know if I should buy it. No matter how modern controls are, I much rather prefer mouse and keyboard, as it gives a lot more control in a lot of ways. Also, Jedi Academy has become a sandbox game for me. I can't play this game anymore without having something modded. The community has cranked up the fun and improved the overall gameplay. I've also read that Star Wars: Episode I - Racer will be released for PS4 and Switch.
-
Are you serious?
-
@Onysfx Amazing, isn't it? Sure, Jedimoves may be inactive since 2004, but it gives an interesting view on where the community stood back then. I think nobody would've imagined that not only would we get more Star Wars content, but also that the community, albeit not as big, would still be around today.

Could you get some more pictures of the interior? Except for the blue brushes, ther is nothing interesting to see. I also have one suggestion: Instead of focusing on the creation of a whole mod, you could turn this into a WIP topic for the maps you are working on. The only thing that needs to be changed is the topic's title, which should be no problem for the admins here.

@ClanKryze511 Okay, that's good. It may be one picture, but at least it shows that you are actually working on something. Maybe you should start small before you get to work on a big mod. Anything else is crazy, especially if you are literally the only one working on this project. Just take the map that you put the most effort in, finish it up (it doesn't have to be perfect) and show us the results. Who knows, maybe it will inspire others to join and help you out.

@dizzlesdj Could be an issue with the language setting. If you haven't already, try to set the game text to English, as this is the only language that is currently supported.
-
@ClanKryze511 I understand that you want to make a mod, which is actually a good thing. But looking at this thread, all I see is just ideas and no actual mod material. Sure, if enough people would take part in it, you could have so much more than that. A mod this ambitious is done with a dedicated team, not by a single person. From what I understand, you're currently trying to work on this alone, right? If yes, that's a red flag, and you should better stop working on this mod before you put too much stress on you for no reason. Also: This is another sign that there are much more important things than creating a mod. Trust me, you don't want to get stressed. So many modders have abandoned mods, or even left the community, because too much stress has built up on them. This isn't worth it.
