Use GTK Radiant to create and edit maps. The newest Radiant version up here offers some technical improvements in comparison to the older versions, however I prefer to use GTK Radiant 1.5 because of better controls. As for waypoints, this specific post (and that topic in general) will probably help a little bit. -

Meh. Doesn't seem to be a bad game, but it's too much Rogue One for me. I guess a good unofficial name would be Rogue Zero: The Force Uncharted. It is a wild guess, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that the game didn't start out as a Star Wars game, and was subsequently Star Wars-ed? Maybe it's something they thought they could re-use from the original concept? Just randomly guessing.

Aside from Modview, did you test it in-game? Sometimes I had models that caused this problem in Modview, but (at least apparently) worked fine in-game. Not sure what kind of horrible thing I may have done, but if there are no apparent problems, anything goes.

Like the movie that plays in the main hall of The Quad? I'm not completely sure, as I have never used it, but this should be the right shader: textures/<path>/<texture> { qer_editorimage textures/<path>/<texture> q3map_nolightmap { videoMap video/<video> } }Only the video name is required, without the .roq extension.

This error occurs because the edges that make the UVMap seams aren't split in the mesh. Basically, select the mesh (in this case head3), enter Edit Mode, switch to UV/Image Editor, press on the "Keep UV and edit mode mesh selection in sync" button (so to synchronize UV/Image Editor selection and mesh edge selection), select all the edges which contour the islands, then switch to 3D View, press Ctrl + E, and then D, and that will basically split all those edges in two - which means the vertex count will also increase, so be mindful of that if the mesh has a complex geometry (that is, if it's close to 1000 vertices). Hope this helps. -

A quick remodel of the old Jedi Outcast Tavion into the feared Chicken-Duck-Woman Thing that Ben Kenobi mentions in the "Bushes of Love" music video. No known bug or issue, except maybe some possible compenetrations with certain animations. Also, it was basically slapped together in a short time, so the quality of the model isn't that great. But at least now you can worry all day about what's waiting in the Bushes of Love. To install, as usual, put the file ChickenDuckWomanThing.pk3 inside your GameData/Base folder. Just as usual, to uninstall, delete that file. -
MP Items in SP (Cloaks, Big Bacta, etc.)

It's actually all pretty much still there. You just need to set up invprev, invnext and invuse keys (to respectively select and use a chosen item from your inventory), if I remember correctly. The bacta tank would just need an edit in items.dat, as it's been changed to work as a medpak pickup, but can be reverted to work properly as an item. The only thing which would require coding is the light amplification goggles, as they don't brighten up the view as they did in Jedi Outcast. Aside from that, everything works fine. Edit: Nevermind that, I didn't notice your request was about MP specific items. -

You probably need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Not sure which version though - I think 2015.

Alternative to MD3 format for misc_models

To be perfectly honest, I prefer to scale models directly in the program. At least doing experiments with large terrains (mostly ASE), it seems like the compilation process is way longer if a model is scaled a lot in Radiant, instead it's much faster if it's already scaled in the program. Not sure why. -

Played a similar game two days ago, while getting drunk: took a shot every time LightningBoltForever said "But uhm" in one of his videos (it was a Quake video in that case), exactly like in the "How I Met Your Mother" episode "Jenkins". Works very well with him

distancecull is the value you want to modify. I'm not sure what's the default value, but if I remember correctly it's measured in game units, so you can set it to whatever is the max distance the player can see.

Try increasing the distancecull value in the worldspawn to a bit more than the height of the skybox where the tower is, that should fix the visual problems with the tower.
