I definitely recommend the stuff you're doing with rend2 or whatever. I saw a video a few weeks ago of what you guys have done and it's pretty epic. That will definitely attract a lot of attention.

So I think what you're saying is to strip the Star Wars content completely? It's an interesting idea and I recall you mentioning it before. As a Star Wars fan it would be sad to see, however it think it could be extremely cool to see a small and simple game like that. Would be great for competitive play. You'd only need one player model, maybe two for team differentiation. One weapon. And only a few maps. And I don't think it would be that big of a project. The biggest part is rend2. Unless you'd want the animations completely redone as well. It would then be pretty different gameplay from JKA.

I wonder why those things aren't in the original program to start with. I want those features but I use the Mac port.

Since when is supporting a charity a publicity stunt? It's Force For Change which is a Star Wars/Lucasfilm charity. He does this stuff all the time, even when not on camera.

Lots of good Star Wars Day sales happening. I'll list a few gaming related ones: GOG.com has all their Star Wars titles on sale. You can get JKA and JK2 for under 3 dollars! Steam has the same sale, but with all the newer titles as well. For macOS users, you can get a few of Aspyr's titles, including JKA and JK2 on their site, which gives you Steam or App Store codes (I believe) You can get Battlefront Ultimate Edition and/or the Season Pass on sale on Origin as well. For non gaming sales, Amazon has a big sale. ThinkGeek has a sale and new items today. Keep an eye on this page for more Star Wars related stuff on sale.

Not sure how to do it in paint.net but in Photoshop you go to Layer > Layer Mask > From Transparency then you right click on the layer mask itself in the Layers panel and click Delete Layer Mask.

Fine with me. Not much is being worked on as far as content goes anyway, so condensing things is fine. Just make a section in this JKE forum about the EDP. No need to make a whole separate mod project forum for that.

Never heard of it. I would assume that it's not supported, but I could be wrong. This would be better asked to the GOG team themselves.

Have you even played it? Though I agree that a lot of TOR is silly, I think the Eternal Empire story was quite good, fit well with the rest of the game stories, and might have been better quality than the rest of the game itself.

"Building it from the beginning" is much easier today with blender than it used to be with other programs. However if you new to modding you might want to familiarize yourself more with more simple modding first. With that said, the tutorials are pretty good at explaining it, but you have to be patient with it.

Not until JKHub 2.0. You'll have to use the full version to see those for now. (I know, it's extremely annoying but not much we can do atm) Unless @@Caelum wants to dedicate some serious brain power to figure out how to now. I failed to a couple years ago.

Doing that would be much more complicated. The easiest way is to use Blender. Check out our tutorial section of the site for more info.

Delete your openjk.cfg and then try opening it. Then open the console and type: r_mode -2then type vid_restartAnd it should use your native resolution. If it doesn't work, make sure you're running it as adminstrator. If it still doesn't work, you may be forced to use 4:3 or windowed mode.
