BF2 is sooo much better than the first. The first was a good game, but they really fixed the team unevenness and made the game have more lasting appeal in the second.

Also I'll snipe, then when I get disgusted with my team failing I'll go into the battle and just start one-shotting people with the sniper rifle, no scope
