I agree! And personally, this is overall much better than those other two versions. @@Darth Martyr, is there any chance you could release this as just 2 .pk3 files? So that you have - .pk3 file of Saber hilt with red "unstable" blade and - .pk3 file of Saber hilt without red "unstable" blade That would be a much easier and better way of doing it, rather than adding additional .pk3 files on top of what you currently already have. Can I just make a suggestion though.. In the image shown (below).. The length of the blade is a little too long and could certainly do to be shortened a little. Other than that I can't fault it at all.

Oh, don't get me wrong.. I'd be all for an Ep. 7 mod, as long as it has nothing to do with the Multiplayer. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Multiplayer. Much prefer Single Player stuff. But I do think that @GPChannel is in the process of doing an Ep. 7 mod, currently, anyway.. So will be interesting to see what he comes back with, when it's done.

Don't forget the Flametrooper, either.. But not sure who'd they'd replace in the base SP game, though. Obviously the Snowtrooper would replace the Imperial Snowtroopers on the Hoth mission and this Stormtrooper would replace the default Stormtrooper, but not too sure where the Flametrooper would fit in ..

I concur.. Would definitely love to see a NEW, **updated** Kylo Ren player model, with his "unstable" saber and hilt and sounds, if possible.

@@MattFiler To be honest, Matt.. I'm sitting on the fence on this one, so taking more of a neutral stance on the whole thing, so to speak. However, some might argue that it.. (Evolution of Combat IV) shouldn't have been released in the first place, due to the reasons stated in this thread/topic (..And to some extent, I agree), but from what I've played of it myself, it wasn't even ready to be released. It's clearly still in the development stages. Because currently, it's a broken mess. None of the Galaxy Maps load up, when you've selected one, they just take you straight back to the main menu.. And you seem to be stuck in the menu's the whole time, so the mod/content never actually loads and you have to end up exiting out of it, because in a nutshell.. It doesn't work. Again, I'm sure this is something that Serenity can clear up. But currently, it's 2.9GB of wasted space.

I believe @@Psyk0Sith is working on Kylo Ren.. I think he's all but confirmed it, himself. But Finn and Rey would be most welcomed. Also a hood down version of Luke, would make for a nice variation.

I don't know if it was just me.. or if anyone else was given this feeling aswell. But I certainly felt this movie was certainly trying to give off the impression of "empowering women". I mean, I'm not sexist in any way and I don't necessarily have a problem with it, at all. But with Rey being one of the main characters in the movie and diving into her (back)story (still a lot of stuff we don't know about her), it certainly gave me that vibe of.. Disney, in this instance, I think.. Of them trying to empower women, so as not to look sexist and probably done as a publicity stunt of some sort, as the Prequel and Original Trilogies were about male characters and people may have complained about the Star Wars movies being too one-sided towards males. Although, I think Captain Phasma would've at least been able to put that to rest, somewhat. I mean, even I didn't know that Captain Phasma was a woman, until like a week before the movie came out.

Can I just ask.. Why on earth are we hiding spoilers?! The thread clearly states on the first page of the topic. Even the very first post; "CAUTION: THIS THREAD CONTAINS SPOILERS" So, people already know what they're getting themselves into. Which then, gives them the choice whether they want to proceed any further or not..

This.. ^^ Because Kylo Ren is a very conflictive character.. Both physically and psychologically. He's fighting a battle all the time, to be stronger with the Dark Side and fighting against the Light Side. He kills Han (his father), because as stated by @@therfiles, he needs to rid himself of that emotional connection to his past to be able to become stronger with the Dark Side. He would do the same to his mother (Leia), given the opportunity. Even though, I could kinda' see it coming.. It was still quite shocking to see. I felt for Chewie, afterwards. He was seriously p*ssed, hence his killing spree of Stormtroopers, afterwards. I thought the ending, was very bittersweet (in a way). With Luke's appearance and Rey going in search of him. Somewhere along the line though, I think there's more to Rey than we know. I think she has some connection to Luke & Leia, than just being a random girl, trying to make her way in the world on Jakku.

Well, @@Psyk0Sith.. If you ARE planning on designing a NEW model of Kylo Ren.. You've probably got everything you need for it, by now. But this should just about confirm & finalize his appearance/look, for you to get everything on him, accurate.

Awesome news, DT! Personally, I'd love to see some more variations on the Stormtroopers, if your Ep. 7 Stormtrooper is anything to go by. The Flametrooper and Snowtrooper's would be most welcomed. And hopefully, all variations of them can be used as over-writes for the default ones in the game. I saw the movie in 3D, this past Thursday night and thought the same as you. I'm gonna go and see it again, next week, all being well. And after that duel between Kylo and Finn, I still don't think Finn is dead. Will be interesting to see where Kylo goes from here, though. Was kinda' surprising in a way to find out that Rey was 'Force sensitive', although I had a feeling she might have some connection to the Force. But that whole flashback scene where Rey is led to Anakin/Luke's old saber from ESB, was freaky as hell. The First Order were pretty intimidating (Kylo Ren & his Stormtroopers, especially.. Or should I say Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers). But I s'pose the big thing, was with Han Solo and what Kylo did to him. I noticed similarities to the Original Trilogy, here, too.. But like the old saying goes.. Why fix what's not broken?!

Seemingly so, although I don't quite understand how he (Luke) has gone from having a full-blown hand (even if it's robotic), to just having a robotic hand, like Anakin did at the end of Ep. II?! I mean, where's all the flesh off it, gone? But yeah, hopefully @@DT85 is onto v2.5, I would say at this point and is adding the robotic hand in its place.

I saw the movie in 3D, last night.. The cinema was sold out! Good job I pre-booked my tickets, prior to the early screening. I kinda' feel bad for all those Americans having to wait until today (Friday) to be able to see the movie. But oddly enough, what I found quite funny.. Is the .gif of Kylo Ren in my forum signature (below) wasn't actually in the movie at all. At least I don't remember seeing it. But that whole lightsaber fight between Finn and Kylo was pretty awesome! I felt it very much mimicked the fight between Luke and Vader from "The Empire Strikes Back". But Rey, essentially being a more powerful Force user than Kylo kinda' shocked me a little. First off, she starts to use a "Jedi Mind Trick" on a Stormtrooper, to release her from her constraints, while being held captive. Then is able to Force pull a lightsaber hilt to her hands, at the same time Kylo is trying to do the same thing. But I'd definitely agree with a web post I saw somewhere, about Kylo Ren being an emotional mess. "Conflicted", I think would be the right word to use here. I certainly did get the feeling with this movie though, that it "empowers women" (which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all). But I think there's more to the back-story of Rey, than we've seen in the movie, which I think will pan out over the next few films.

If you don't like them.. Fine! Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. But you do realise that the saber trails are included for something called "added realism", don't you.. And I give props to the modders, who decide to include this and make the mod more like the movies. All I can say is, you clearly haven't seen a Star Wars movie, if you think that the game looks better without them. On a personal note, (to @MattFiler & @Serenity937), don't remove the saber trails. Tweak them, if you need to (for improved realism), but you're gonna get haters, regardless. Stay with your original vision for the mod and don't make unnecessary changes, just because one person out there, can't appreciate the work that's gone into the mod. I'm not arguing any point here, eezstreet.. But it may be possible that there's a NEW Kylo Ren, currently in the works by @@Psyk0Sith.

I second this notion A more accurate Kylo Ren would be extremely welcomed.. And @Psyk0Sith did an INCREDIBLE job on Darth Malgus. It's not that often that I praise someone's work that deeply, but my god.. That skin/model was extremely good! It would also be nice to possibly get some voice work included with him too, along with his saber hilt and blade, instead of having 2 or 3 different, additional .pk3 files to have to use at once.
