  1. Because of its reputation of only consisting of stolen content (which is only partly true), nobody really paid attention to the actual effort that has been made. The developer(s) somehow managed to break free from certain restrictions of the engine to actually add something to the mod - years before the source code was published! Nobody has ever done that before. Regardless if the developer(s) stole content from others, I still find it horrible how he was treated by many members of the community. I do hope that someone takes this expansion pack and make it work somewhere else.
  2. That was probably the point of the Inquisitors. They were not supposed to be the traditional "Rule of Two" kind of Sith, just a group of fighters making sure that Palpatine's plan to purge all the Jedi will be successful. And there was nobody who could've prevented Palpatine to bend the rules of the Sith to his liking. And from his perspective, it makes more sense to send multiple Sith across the galaxy than having only two Sith doing the job. Vader on the other hand was only sent out for very special operations. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the Inquisitors in the show. Maybe they will be even better than in Rebels or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
  3. I'm excited for it as well. It's so awesome to see Obi-Wan again. For years, I was hoping for something that would break the tension between various types of Star Wars fans (especially between those who love the new Star Wars continuity and those who oppose it). Maybe this show could be it, because Obi-Wan Kenobi is a character everybody loves.
  4. As far as I know, this is the only expansion from the old KotF. Anything else was just a collection of save files for custom missions. I highly recommend Galactic Legacy, which started as a continuation of KotF but has then into a standalone mod. Trust me, it's way better than anything you've ever seen from KotF. https://www.moddb.com/mods/swgl/downloads/star-wars-galactic-legacy-part-1-of-2
  5. And that would be one of the various problems the model would bring. Even if someone would be able to scale her properly, what use would it have? She would be by far the tallest character, which would look ridiculous when fighting with the regular sized characters. And seeing Lady Dimitrescu doing lightsaber acrobatics and wielding weapons would simply reduce a menacing and dangerous character to just another player model you could easily force push into a pit. In other words, she doesn't belong anywhere outside of Resident Evil Village.
  6. @JesseHumphry I moved this topic to the WIP section, as it's the more appropriate place for this map. A huge map also comes with a lot of potential. Personally, I enjoyed the introduction of the mod-parlor in The Book of Boba Fett, the one specialised in cybernetic enhancements. Adding such a location would be something interesting and new.
  7. Now that would look absolutely stupid.
  8. That's the problem! The humanoid.gla files are animation files, and they contain all the informations a model needs to work properly. The animations in the human_galen.gla file were specifically designed for Movie Duels. And if you put those in vanilla Jedi Academy, it leads to the problems you've experienced with that model. That's why you shouldn't take models from other mods and put it in the normal game, because certain models don't work well with the regular game.
  9. Honestly, I think that adding Lady Dimitrescu to Jedi Academy would be a bad idea. It's not that it is impossible, it's just that she wouldn't really fit in well in the game. We're talking about a character that is 9'6" tall (which is 2.90 meters), which makes her even taller than any character we have. If someone would try to adapt that size to the player model, it would only look silly. And if she is scaled down in order to match the size of the other character models, and also given a lightsaber or a blaster, it wouldn't be Lady Dimitrescu. There are so many characters out there that have the potential to be easily included in Jedi Academy, but Lady Dimitrescu is not one of them, for many reasons. Sometimes, it's better to just leave certain characters alone.
  10. @RASAS I've merged the two topics together. Do you experience that issue with the same model you've taken from Movie Duels? If yes, I think that's the problem, because you've taken a model that wasn't specifically designed to be used in vanilla Jedi Academy. If you still want to play with that character, I suggest you get the Galactic Legacy mod. Not only does it contain a massive range of Star Wars characters, it is also compatible with the SP campaign. I think that your character has been included there as well. https://www.moddb.com/mods/swgl/downloads/star-wars-galactic-legacy-part-1-of-2 Make sure to clean your base folder of any mods, including the model you've taken from Movie Duels, in order for Galactic Legacy to work properly.
  11. I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that one.
  12. OpenJK uses a different folder structure. All screenshots are located in Documents\My Games\OpenJK\base\screenshots.
  13. Just put all the files into the GameData folder. Then you start the game either with openjk.x86.exe (for MP) or openjk_sp.x86.exe (for SP). Long story short: OpenJK is essentially a modified version of the game's code. It contains bugfixes and even removes certain limitations (or at least expands them), which allow you to run the game proberly. As your problem is a limitation issue, OpenJK may fix just that. If you need more information about it, just take a look at the GithHub page: https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK
  14. @RASAS Download the latest build of OpenJK, start Jedi Academy with it and see if it helps. https://builds.openjk.org/
  15. Nevertheless, it was a lightsaber crafting system that has never existed in any other Star Wars game before. In fact, it came close to how I imagined the crafting system in Jedi Academy and KotOR. A classmate also told me about a feature that allowed you to split a double bladed lightsaber into two lightsabers during combat. I can't remember if he was talking about Jedi Academy or KotOR, but still, I wanted to see that feature for real. Needless to say I was disappointed again.
  16. I remember when similar ads really got me excited for the game. Forging your own lightsaber was what sold it for me (which, to my disappointment, was a far less exciting feature than I expected). Nevertheless, those ads have fulfilled their purpose.
  17. @DJ_Zephyr If you haven't found those mods yet, chances that you will find them are pretty thin. My guess is that the mods you're looking for were hosted on pcgamemods.com, which not only had a massive selection of rare mods, but sadly went offline before anybody had the chance to make backups of the files.
  18. Have you adjusted the mouse sensitivity?
  19. That was quick, and it looks really amazing. And I think you've just brought Grogu to Jedi Academy for the first time!
  20. That's a good idea actually. Nobody has ever done a female version of that species before. But the question is, who is willing to make one?
  21. You should check your emails if there is a receipt for the game. If you got that game and it still doesn't show up, you should contact the support of Epic about that.
  22. It does work better than the original cutscene, as it better reflects how narrow-minded Rosh was during the training.
This is the most detailed Jango Fett model available. Good job!
  23. Somebody has already started to make him for the Dark Forces II mod. However, the model is still WIP.
  24. This must be the reason. Do you have the Steam version of the game? If yes, try to use the repair feature of Steam. If that doesn't work, I suggest you a radical method: Uninstall the game completely, then delete the entire Jedi Academy game folder (that way, you make sure that all game files are wiped from the drive), then install the game again. Of course you should make backups of the custom pk3s and your save files first, so you can put them back in later. But don't put the fix back in!
