  2. I was going crazy with my game not going over 800x600 no matter the resolution set on the menu or the OpenJK config file...Until I found this!!! Problem solved. Thanks @Darth Futuza !!!!
  3. Han looks great! Textures show a little bit shinny, but otherwise great. Any plans for the Bespin outfit?

  5. Is not the screenshots, the screenshots look fine. Is the actual HUD on MY computer that looks low res.
  6. Like it but for some reason mine doesn't look as good as in your screenshot, mine looks like low res (both versions).
  7. Yeah, I only use about half of them (with OpenJK). I originally didn't had all the NPCs created but I decided to add as many as possible for these pack so people could choose whatever they like best. Is easier to remove whatever you don't need. As for the backhand animations, I am not sure where they originally came from, I got them from Seven (I didn't knew they existed until he released his mod), so I credited him for it.

  9. Small update in the torso textures trying to match the original model. Not sure about it, I think I still like better the red upper torso version. Let me know what version do you think looks better?
  10. This is awesome! However, I use different models with different saber hilts for different missions and after using dash, the sabers are rest. Need to find a workaround this problem so I can use this amazing mod.
  11. Thanks. I've tried JAE in the past for the RGB sabers but I made a pack of about 40 saber hilts with SP menu support and the RGB sabers don't work with it. Also, the blade colors were a little "washed out" and a custom animation didn't worked with it. I might give it a try some time just for the force repulse.

  13. No matter what the end version is, it will be awesome. With all due respect, if someome doesn't like the end product, that's fine, everybody has their preferences, we can't all agree all the time and that's part of life. But IMHO, calling lame the hard work and time others are investing on this so we can enjoy it, I find it a little bit disrespectful. I am just thankful for the people that make these amazing mods that allows us to enjoy this game in new (or different) ways.

    Galen Marek / Starkiller Pack with backhand Animations FOR JEDI ACADEMY ========================================================================================== IMPORTANT: This pack was put together for SP only (there is no MP support). I am a HUGE fan of Galen Marek/Starkiller. Althought I don’t like the game (barely got to the first half of the original Raxus mission), I love the story. I looked for related mods and found several good mods here and there, with each one having good stuff but not everything in a single mod. Based on what I found, I wanted to improve the already great mods by Dark_Apprentice and Seven and get everything together using the great backhand animations from katanamaru and AshuraDX Starkiller saber hilts, so I decided to learn a little bit about mods and came up with this small pack with the best of the Starkiller mods so far. I came up with this mod that contains: The models/Skins I like the best from Dark_Appentice’s Starkiller "Galen Marek" Outfit Pack for JKA 2.0 (with some fixes/tweaks). Seven's Galen Marek Jedi Adventure Robes 2.0 Mod (with some fixes/tweaks for SP), Single backhand animation and sounds. Katanamaru’s Backhand Styles 1.1 mod (Dual and Single backhand animations). AshuraDX Starkiller's Lightsaber AshuraDX (1.0) (rotated for backhand use and .sab file slightly modified so it doesn't conflicts with the original mod). Thanks to them for their support and permissions to get this complied. The Basics: The pack contains the following models available from the SP Menu selection. Galen Arena outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Armor outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Clone outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Dark Apprentice outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Industrial Explorer outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Jedi Adventure outfit (Seven) Galen Raxus mission outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Tie Pilot outfit (Dark_Apprentice) Galen Training outfit (Dark_Apprentice) The models have the normal animations in order for them to work with cutscenes (custom animations don’t show or show as statues in the cutscenes). preferences (will use whatever saber you have previously selected and use the default game animations). NPCs: Galen_Arena Galen_Armor Galen_Clone Galen_Dark Galen_Dark_Hooddown - same as above without hood (hood down) Galen_Industrial Galen_Jedi_Adv Galen_Jedi_Adv_Hooddown - same as above without hood (hood down) Galen_Raxus Galen_Tie Galen_Training Single Backhand Animations (sbh): There are two different “Single Backhand” version (sbh) available, one using Katanamaru’s backhand animations and another using the animations from Seven’s Galen_Jedi_adv mod (you can choose which one you want to install) via NPC. If you want to use the Dark outfit without hood using “Dual backhand” animations without altering the force powers, use “galen_dark_hooddown_dbh_nf” (without quotes) Install: Place the Galen_Marek_Backhand.pk3 in your base folder – contains the models and dual backhand animations. Choose either Galen_Marek_Backhand_Single_Seven.pk3 or Galen_Marek_Backhand_single_katanamaru.pk3 (please select only not both) and place it on your base folder – contains the NPCs for the single backhand animations. Uninstall: remove the PK3s from your base folder. Notes: Both Single Backhand Animations have pros and cons, I like both. Idle stance: Both look great. Seven’s animation looks more aggressive. Run/Walk: Seven’s animation look funny when the lightsaber is on, if you turn off the lightsaber, run/walk works fine. Katanamaru’s animation works fine with the lightsaber on (close to TFU). Fighting Animations: Both are great. I like the blaster shot block from Seven’s animation better, it looks more like in TFU, while in Katanamaru’s blaster shot block the arms are “too wide open”. I've included both versions so you can choose the one you like the best. Additional Notes: I've only tested this in OpenJK. As mentioned above, I didn't played TFU games, but I tried to set up the blade colors as close as TFU videos as possible. If you don't want to use the blade colors assigned, you can change them via console (or use packscape and modify the NPC files). In addition, the pack contains: “Floating datapad” fixed for the Raxus outfit. Tweaked textures for the Tie Pilot Outfit. This is my favorite outfit from TFU but it looks “too flat” so I tweaked the textures a little bit to try and give it more “dimension”.   15. Looks good! Might be due to lightning, the sleeves looks just a little bit lighter than. Other than that, looks really good.
  16. If possible, please get a separate jacket. There should be few good models around. Maybe from Jeff's models or the jacket from Dark_Apprentice's "Yavin Luke"?
  17. BTW, it doesn't shows so good in the screenshots but the arms from the "red" textures are kind of "blueish". I tried copying more "normal looking" arms from one of the other textures from the same pack. The textures look fine but the game crashes, not sure what properties/settings or how the tga has to be saved.

Seriously,thanks so much for those words, you have no idea how much it means to me. I've gotten so much in the short time I've been here, I would like to give something in return and try to learn and work for what I would like to have and ask or bother people as little as possible. I wish I had the experience and talent of people like you, @Seven, @Jeff, @Kualan,@kalamaray,@Langerd,@Śăļvõö,@AshuraDX, just to name a few. In the mean time, I just like to contribute with whatever little I can.

  21. I tried myself but this is as far as I can get. Needs a lot of work on the textures which I am terrible at, especially the arms and "skirt". Not to mention shaders that no matter how many tutorials I read, can't get my head around them.
