  1. I tried but I can't find anything wrong with it. If there was a similar model that I could open and check, I might be able to figure it out, but so far it seems to be attached correctly. I just turned it off.
  2. Figured it out....The original mode had the head in 2 parts...the part head was called "head_face" and the "neck" part was called "head" so when I re-assign the new parts, I was assigning them to the neck part instead of the actual head...but since the new heads contains different "skin colors, I couldn't leave the "neck" so I used a "dirty" workaround by using one of those "floating" triangles around the head area as the hook for the hood and the helmet. Also had to modify the .skin files to turn on/off the hood and helmet from the torso files. Everything is working great now! Have all the Luke ROTJ uniforms with the heads form "CJPJourneyman". I also did the same with Dark_Apprentice's Luke pack. That one was easier but have a problem with the "hood down" part. I think I will be able to fix it with what I've learned. My only issue with that one is the lower-neck part with the Yavin version....have an empty gap between the neck and the shirt. I'll see what I can do with that one.
  3. Check the files section. Look for "The Inquisitor (Rebels) 1.0"
  4. Thanks. Before I move a part from one model to another, I first write down the part name and the parent, that way if the goes floating around, it can be fixed by assigning the part parent again. I also check all the layers for left overs. All moved parts seems to be ok, They just won't turn off via the .skin file. I bet s something I am missing, I will keep trying.
  5. I got it! Can't open the model in ModView (something about 92 surfaces but only 97 connected) but the model opens fin in JA. Have to figure out why some parts don't want to turn off using the .skin file (robe and hood) but so far is working!
  6. Found how to zoom and pan around but still having problems: Opened the first model and moved the head to another layer (let's say layer 5). Open the second model (layer 2). Moved all the head parts to layer 1. Renamed anything related to head (i.e removed .001) Looking at the model, everything seems to be fine. Exported the model Modified the skin files Opened the model with modview Still see the old head with the new textures.
  7. Thanks for the feedback. I modified the skin files but I am not sure if I did the hierarchy part correct. Will try again.
  8. Interesting tutorial. How do you zoom the model and move the view angle? I mean, I zoom the model but then the head goes out of the view area. I tried the tutorial and got most things done. I tried to combine "Toshi's ROTJ Luke Skywalker Version 2" with the head from "Classic Jedi Project (CJP) Journeyman Customization I 1.1" but ended up with Luke's body without head. Guess I need to read and practice more.
  9. Looking great! Great Job! I think the shoulder pads go along with a chest plate. I bet you already done it but just in case, if you google "SW: The Force Unleashed 2 - Starkiller Jedi-Hunter" (without the quotes), there are a few good pictures.
  10. hmm...I have no idea, but I was reading a Blender tutorial a few days ago ("Frankensteining with blender") and I think there were some issues with version 2.7x. I think they were recommending 2.64 or 2.66 (also this thread "Blender Exporting Issues" apparently whatever problem was, was fixed with an older version). I am sorry I can't be of much help, hope at least it gives you an idea.
  11. Looking great! Maybe make the chest-armor and "skirt" like the "Sith Stalker" version (and if possible, make the hood smaller - the part that hangs loose on the front). Just a thought.....
  12. Yep, is a learning experience. I've learned some stuff and fixed Dark_Apprentice's starkiller pack issues (models not showing in SP menu, models with "white parts" (missing shaders), hood not showing in some models, etc. I also learned how to add sber hilts to SP menu and made a mega pack with around 40 hilts I can choose from. I would like to learn how to Frankenstein models. I finally got blender running with the JA plugin but running into some issues (I think that would be for another thread)
  13. Does anybody kows if thisod was made/completed? I've been searching for this model for JA for sometime.
  14. Yeah...I play it, finish it and start again with a different model. BTW: I am not really modding the game. I wish I had the time and knowledge. I am just trying to fix some issues with some of the models I like.
  15. Thanks Zeros Darok: Yeah, in my searches I found out how to use "setforce power <force> <1-3>" so I set a few force powers I normally don't use to 1 with a "bind key" so from time to time I pressed the bind key but I didn't liked it so I modified the model's npc to remove those powers. So far, I have no issues but I had to start the game all over again, let's see when I progress enough.
  16. I didn't used "setForceAll"....As I mentioned above, I am using a mod (Seven's "Galen Marek Jedi Adventure Robes") that already had some powers set up so I eventually ran out of powers to select/increase. I modified the npc and removed the powers.
  17. Looks great but, isn't the mask (and the mechanic arm) supposed to be on the left side?
  18. Amazing!!! Speechless......Simply AMAZING!!! 100 starts! Wish somebody made a Starkiller model like this (especially the tie pilot suit with all these details)..
  19. Excellent job as always! Looks awesome, although I kind of prefer v1 (at least the back of the hilt in v1 looks better for me).
  20. Thanks. I am not sure about that since I haven't used it before. I used because in my search, I found some information how to increase the force levels so I tried it the opposite way.
  21. Excellent! 5 stars! I replaced the single_2 with the blue version. Is it possible to have the crystal change colors when you change the color of the blade (there is a similar saber around that does it)? Or, can you please add SP Menu support?
  22. Excellent. Like how the "crystal chamber" color changes when you change the blade color!
  23. Thanks for the feedback. That was the second thing I tried, but for some reason (doesn't makes sense to me) didn't worked for the current game, had to start the entire game again. To continue the game where I was, I had to use a cheat to downgrade the some of the force powers. I also found a mod called "Unlocker_v403" that bypasses the force selection screen but I will stick with the NPC solution.
  24. Thanks for the feedback. I'm no expert, I was having a lot of issues with some mods and posted it here in jkhub and was recommended to use openjk and JA++. At first openjk crashed in both sp and MP, then, although I don't play MP, tried adding JA++ to the MP shortcut just to test the mods in a solo game and it worked. I then tried it with SP and it worked too so I kept it in the shortcut. Maybe wrong but is how I got it not to crash. I will check for the new openjk version tomorrow.
