      Rogue Leader had good graphics for the console it was designed for,so that was expected.

      The models were super high detail, I think they were the ones used for the hangar.

  5. Can anyone change it in the source code so dark side NPC's will follow you when you are on their side?

      You could get the effect you want but it would take a while. I would make all Dark Side NPC's have playerteam player, and all the light side NPC's playerteam enemy. This would have the bad guys follow you and the good guys stand still. That's the closest you could get without any help.

      I know. I just wanted to tell people that these are available for porting in case anyone gets interested...like at all.

      It really depends on the model. Checked out some character models, and Boba Fett stands at 13450 vertex, the Snow Trooper is over 9000 and the Scout Trooper is around 3900. And 3900 for a single model is a lot, but not excessively high.

      Nobody will port them directly, but if they were, and were also entirely re-textured then it would be acceptable. But like I said, Nobody will do it. Besides, CrimsonStrife is making a new Kylo model from scratch.

      Me too, along with the rest of them. But at least they can be used as references so the home-made model can be as accurate as possible to it.

      View them in an image editor, if that doesn't work, find an online DDS to PNG converter.

      That's something. So is there a frankenstein-ing tutorial anywhere?

      It depends what areas interest you. If bringing new characters to the game is your thing, then skinning is the place to start.

      Kitbashing/frankensteining would be the next step up, as it is so easy these days with Blender and mrwonko's plugins - and you'll learn so much just from practicing and running into problems along the way.

      That's what the modding section of the forum is for. We'd much rather see people asking questions and learning instead of requesting things. It's more rewarding in the long run too. There are a great number of things that I got into later that I attribute to modding JKA in my early years, like NPC and string files and skinning. Now I do web design and graphic design and get paid to do it.
