    (French description below) Hello there! Today there is a new full translation of a mod: Lady Jedi. With this file, you could play this story with French subtitles and voices, based on a translation work from Russian to English by JKHub member Numfast. I made some enhancements, eventually reverb effects when characters were in caves or something. As the Nazar Design Group, the creators of Lady Jedi, is dead now, this version was made without its authorization. Note that you have to install the original file. This one is just a replacement of voices and texts in French, you won't find scripts, maps etc. You can find the original Lady Jedi file by clicking here. English subtitles are still available in addition with the French ones. Numfast give me his authorization to put his work in this one, so all English texts are his property. More informations are in the Readme. If some people are interested, they can find a file with the French cast of this mod, because it was not possible to make it in the end credits. Avec ce fichier, vous pourrez jouer cette histoire avec les sous-titres et les voix françaises, basés sur le travail de traduction du Russe à l'Anglais par le membre de JKHub Numfast. J'ai procédé au cours du doublage à quelques améliorations, en l'occurrence des effets de réverbération lorsque des personnages sont dans des lieux étroits. Comme le Nazar Design Group, les créateurs de Lady Jedi, est disloqué de nos jours, cette version a été faite sans son autorisation. N'oubliez pas que vous devez installer le mod original. Celui-là n'est qu'un remplacement des voix et des textes en Français, vous n'y trouverez ni scripts, ni maps ou quoi que ce soit. Vous pouvez trouver le fichier original en cliquant ici. Les sous-titres anglais demeurent disponibles en complément des français. Numfast m'a donné son autorisation pour mettre son travail dans celui-là, donc tous les textes en Anglais lui appartiennent. Davantage d'information sont dans le Readme_FR. Si des gens devaient être intéressés, il y a un fichier avec la distribution française du mod, car ce n'était pas possible de faire la liste dans les crédits de fin. Amusez-vous bien !
  2. Well, I don't think I could make a new texture from scratch. I can use Gimp but not for this. So, it would be complicated, especially because I probably don't have enough imagination for this kind of stuff. First I had the idea to make little ladders. But I thought that stormtroopers just had to climb from the lower bed. Maybe this is not obvious, but in fact, it will not be a question in the game.
  3. Thank you for that advice! The thing of this room (and by extension the map) is that it's a part of a small base, and the mess as other rooms are underground: built quickly, no time to make style or something, a little bit like a bunker. That is for this reason I wanted to make it very "square", condensed, and not really tall. Well, I'm not use with re-scaling, because it doesn't work as brushes: impossible to make it manually. And I'm afraid that chairs will be too small for characters (I had the idea to sit a stormtrooper, even if I don't know how to make yet). But I will have a look on it. The corridor was intentionally tight because it was made only in purpose to try the door effect. It is removed on the next version, where there is a quite big room. The lights are my main enemy right now. I know how it works but not used with them. For instance, as you say it, the roof: I am afraid that lights are too bright. And how to make them: a few which are big and large, or a lot little? Right now I added more areas to try some new effects, but this is not fixed yet (sounds repeating in a trigger when I want them to make it once, and other things with key doors or forcefields) Thank you again!

    Hello to all! Here I am releasing my very first map to have a feedback of different members (and mappers). This is how I imagined a dorm for stormtroopers in a little Imperial base. It is small, very small. In fact, this room is a part of a bigger creation but to train myself with lights etc., I just took this work apart. I'm open to all critics as long they are useful (especially with the lights). Just don't be too hard, I'm a rookie with this stuff. This file will probably be updated then deleted later, it has no vocation to be a playing map (or for duel, maybe?) I want to thanks NumberWan who helped me a lot with some issues with Radiant, and the JKHub member MUG for his video tutorials.
  6. I always found that single hilts, excepting Arbiter, were too big, too fat for (near-)human hands. When we see the sabers in Prequels, movies and EU (Legends or not), most of the time sabers were quite thin and fingers can join themselves with the thumb. With these sabers (Praetor for instance), we think that Jaden can't hold it correctly and could loose it easily. This is bad, because all are imaginative, but this scale issue ruins all.
  7. Not a problem for me. I just edit the .bat file, replacing "ja_sp" by "openjk_sp.x86" and everything is fine, and this for all mods which are using a Batch. Not an hard work to do with Notepad. In 20 seconds this is done. Well, there are too many. Yes, this is harder, but Vader is not a jumping character (he never jumps with his armor, and in the stairs on Bespin against Luke is not a "real" jump). This is why I found the balcony scene was unfitting with him. To be honest, all those thermal and rocket soldiers reminds me Lady Jedi and Communication Force mods, which were hard as f... because of them and in fact absolutely unrealistic (you don't use an explosive when you are too close of your target). And yes, the will to make the RO scene is dead with this kind of stuff. This is Vader, he doesn't hide. To offset, blasters can make more damages. Never heard it^^ It could be fun, cops are not very polite, especially during intense moments. This is not bad, we are not waiting from fans to be real actors. Except if it's really, really terrible. Of course, if lines are well acted this is better, but you can make something fair. By the way, I am currently making the French version of Lady Jedi, but once it will be done, may I make one for your mod? If there are not many lines, it will be quick. And is it possible to make subtitles? I remember a bug: heavy repeater and Golan arms don't appear correctly in our hands during FPV: it is on the top-left side of the screen, as if Vader held it on the shoulder. Well, technically he doesn't need those "barbaric" weapons, but bug is there.
  8. Oh, okay. I thought the beta was for the "Lady Luck" ship and stardestroyer bridge too, as we can see on the screenshots. I hope the sequel will come Just two little things which are not fixed: when we use the Healing power, this is the voice of Jaden who makes a "uh". And when we find the both 3PO and R5 units, this is Jaden who says "this is not the droid we're looking for", instead of Vader.
  9. Cool stuff, but is it normal that I'm stuck after the first boss (the Twi'lek)? I beat him but then there is nothing happening, no button to press and no door which opens. I tried everything with lightsaber, Force powers or fire weapons, even with noclip cheat but I'm litterally imprisoned in the place.

  13. Love this map. Even if there is no "special" place, this is truly natural, we feel the forest ambience, and several ideas are very well found. RP/videos maps are the best, anyway EDIT: There is a rock which hurts when you touch it. Is it normal? It's not far from the river (that's all I could say, sorry)

  15. "Good, good..." I'm already on the French version. At least, subtitles. Maybe you could make an update which contains the both languages, until I do the dubbing.
  16. Why from German? Because I could translate it, I'm more familiar with German language (several years studied at school). But you Russians, when you do mods, there are always big projects! Lady Jedi, Wild Force, Dark Pastime...
  17. Do you think I could make a French version once the English one is released? With voices and texts, as previous patches. I'll see if I can make English voicing; I know people who speak very well, but it would probably have a slightly French accent. If you don't want, it will make less work for me so not too bad
  18. Yeah, playable Russian mod! Although I don't understand all^^ At least English subtitles. Are Russian people here who could make a little translation? But... this is so hard!!! Damn, impossible to beat it without dying, and I don't even finished the mod. And that crawling text... There are good ideas though, except I can't understand all in the plot, and this is not because of Russian language: battle droids? Phase I Clonetroopers? All mixed with Stormtropers and AT-STs? As the mod was released before Episode III, agree about some "historical" issues, but this... I am quite disappointed. Recording quality is well, that's nice. Acting's not bad too, if the team is not actors. And there was an idea in the beginning which surprised me quite a lot. No spoilers Eventually, this is decent but a little bit too hard; I admit it, I had to cheat several times to progress correctly.

  22. Yeeeah, nice! It is quite well-made, even for textures! Just like NumberWan (and probably a lot of people), I discovered this species with Phantom Menace game. Glad to see them more now!
  23. Already downloaded on Haps' website few weeks ago. I think it is possible to make all kind of rankbadges (by coding in character's skin file), or I misunderstood. Very good file though.

    This is a... mod? No... Let's say an archive where are a lot of .pk3 files which give a music for SP menu from different Star Wars games. The list is in the readme and in the "screenshots". You can use it as you wish, without restrictions, don't even need to credit me, that was not an hard task to do. This is an update. It changed a few things: some new musics for different menus (main, character, load game and quit), based on the changes from original games menus. I changed for Rogue Squadron, Force Commander, TIE Fighter and KOTOR I-II. Let's have a plot: wich music gives you the most of nostalgia? And which one fits better with JKA menu?
