Knight of the Force Total Conversion

Nope, I mean take the original NPC file from the assets, and only change the model and saber entries. Leave everything else alone.

Could you possibly explain this a little better? I got the basic gist of it but you're implying some of the steps that should be explained a little further. I get an "unweighted" error when trying to export.

Looks like you added a lot of data from the original, if I remember correctly.

sabercolor 2 color ?

The game only supports one animation mod at a time. Whichever is the lowest alphabetically is the one it will use. You can't use multiple.

I recommend make a pinned topic in this forum to link to it.

There is some slight misinterpreted hostility going on here and I'd like to point out that nobody has said anything offensive, yet. Let's just keep this thread on the topic of the project, and feel free to discuss "who did what" privately, or just move on.

So....yes? Pardon my lack of coding knowledge.

@@ensiform so the clientlist command is client side only for OpenJK or server side as well? Like if someone on an OpenJK server was using vanilla jamp.exe, could they use that command?

@@Xycaleth I've been using the Mac version since you released it, and it works really well! Is it possible to make a Mac version of MD3View as well?

Bad playermodel (stormtrooper) for SP cutscenes...
Circa replied to Dusty's topic in Jedi Knight Tech Support
Or use my in-game character menu mod to change your appearance easily any time. https://jkhub.org/files/file/562-ingame-character-and-saber-menu/ You could also do it via console with the playermodel command but define the 3 skin files you want for head, torso, and lower. Example: playermodel jedi_hm head_c1 torso_d1 lower_b1 -
So when using private chat on a server, you type "serverstatus" to get the number of the person to talk to, but if a person leaves at some point, and you type "serverstatus" again, the numbers change for everyone but they don't actually change. You have to use the previous number still. Could this be fixed? Not really sure if it's client side or server side or both. Our server uses OpenJK, and I do as client as well.

I was mostly just asking for permission to use your map on behalf of the team. You don't have to join the project in any way.
-
That would be really cool, but really hard to do. Though, your hub idea would be really cool. If we used @@Oobah's temple map as the hub map, and you can go to certain rooms to do certain things to replace the main menu. The maintenance looking room could be the saber building menu area, could use a bedroom for the player customization menu, then the hangar for missions at different vehicles that are there. I actually would love to see that happen. @@redsaurus what do you think?

@@Pande @@Darth Futuza @@Stoiss you should all join JK: Enhanced and get some of these assets finished for that. These maps would be perfect for new SP missions, etc.

The middle bulge looks too fat. Should be the same width as the next widest part.

It all goes in your GameData folder, except for the pk3, that goes in base. You also might need Visual C++ 2010.

Yeah, seems the locking mechanism was standard for the prequel-era Jedi. After that, Luke uses a ring on Anakin's hilt and his own. You could say Obi-Wan installed the ring since he knew Luke wouldn't have a belt with the mechanism, or you could stick with the theory of the fact that they didn't decide about the mechanism until they started making Episode I.
