    This is an old map from 2008 for jk2. Just uploading it so it doesn't get lost. Pretty sure it works fine in jka also just probably would be very easy climb for that.

    Amazing climb\strafe map. Well done no errors. I probably need help actually completing it though
  3. ah ok. from my understanding the new decompile actually can reconstruct texture alignment as well as entity lights unlike decompiles 10 years ago. So in theory you could just decompile and get the original map entirely (source files obtained in that sense)
  4. What's this based on? I was missing a couple textures in the alpha although for some reason I took screenshots and I can't seem to find them o well. Are those pillars indoors ace models? Also I'm getting a flickering when I look out at the skyportal on the edges of the screen almost like it's hitting max draw distance on that diagonal distance that could probably be fixed in the world spawn. How many brushes does this thing take up because it looks insanely detailed?

  6. ok haven't mapped in 4 or 5 years. First question: is this thing 32 bit or 64 bit. should it be in program files on windows (64 bit) or x86 (32 bit)? second question. What's the point of the gamepack step of adding it? does it not just reference the installed jka game?

  8. I want to know this also....bc I have 5 of them. They don't seem to be causing any trouble other than the compiler warning me of them.

    It was various mixes of Elden Ring theme music that youtubers did namely Zak Castle, Ru Pianao, and Alina Gingertail. There might have been another in there but those are the ones I can remember. I merged 4-5 of them.

  12. Haven't really been mapping much this month bc I got busy but I'm kind of short idea for adding to the map. Wondering if anything dawns on anyone.
    Went through this entire map last night. It's a HUGE map. Really well done challenges. Lots of attention to detail probably more than mine. Minor criticisms would be I thought the lava needed to be scaled up a bit bc it looked like it was tiling too much in big rooms. Also sometimes on glass surfaces and a few other surfaces I would see the glass inside an area that should probably be turned into caulk_solid on that side of the brush. Obviously it needs lighting, which should be done with my invisishader IMO since it's so large. Still super well done map with a lot of attention to detail. Will be amazing once the lighting gets done (if ever)
  13. Ok i can launch a dedicated server in jk2 on JKMV just fine. works well. I opened my ports I needed on my router and ppl could join it fine. However in jk3 when I launch a dedicated server on openjk as well as trying on eternaljk all of the shaders 100% are missing and it's just white looking grids everywhere. I had a friend try and same thing happened to him. I will note if I just do \devmap and test a map locally it works perfectly fine as well as when I join others servers things works fine.

      oh, i also found and replaced the textures you were talking about that you couldn't see.

      are you using netradiant btw? or still using gtk?

      Just asking bc netradiant is 64 bit and it allows unlimited ram usage. In my case I have 64 megs of ram so compared to using just 2 before it's a big upgrade.

      yeah i started using netradiant. it is sooo much better than gtk for me.
