  2. Because JKA isn't a super high-poly ps4/switch-era game. It's a game made back in 2003, it can't handle super high-poly models.
  3. I honestly don't know too much about this, but I believe that you strafe jump when you're in first person, though that's probably not what you're looking for. This is more of a bump than anything else. Also, you're YT Channel's awesome, keep up the great work

  9. No, it's not smaller. It's actually bigger, with more detail.
  10. I mean, SWTOR may or may not be canon, but it's still being updated and Disney seems to be okay with it - not to mention all the references to KotOR in the new canon (Mandalorian Wars, Hammerhead Ships, Malachor, etc.), so it's pretty close to being canon. Here's a bothan in SWTOR:

  13. Yeah, I tried looking through modview, but the Animations have different names to the attacks, by the looks :/
  14. Okay, so does anyone know what animations these attacks use? LS_A_TL2BR LS_A_L2R LS_A_BL2TR LS_A_BR2TL LS_A_R2L LS_A_TR2BL LS_A_T2B These are attacks that can be made into a Kata (kinda Special Moves, but not really), that still go boom with that good ol' slam attack. Thanks

  17. Okay, so far I've made a shock-wave scepter like @@AshuraDX suggested, and a force lightning replacement for the beam attack, as a bonus. Something I found out though: Special moves (i.e Katas, Butterflies, Twirls, Lunges, etc.) do NOT make a shock-wave like regular attacks do. Instead it behaves like a normal saber's special move - which is not what we're looking for. Are there any attacks that aren't used that often that wouldn't be considered a special move? Or, better yet, is there a way to reverse it? To make it so that special moves create the shock-wave whereas the regular attacks don't? Thanks
  18. That's certainly not a bad skin... but it could be a lot better, especially by today's standards. IMO someone should make a Frankenstein, like I previously mentioned. In the mean time, you can play with that skin
  19. Now, I have nothing for or against ports, but I'm sure that some of these things can be achieved with a Frankenstein and a Re-skin. Head - Cultist Cape-cloth-thingy - Boba Fett Forearms - Kylo Ren (Optional, may not be necessary) Torso - Jedi Legs - Jedi_HM/Lower_C1 Hope this helped anyone who can make Frankensteins Some of these parts can be done from scratch, such as the head (rather than a Cultist's) and the sword. Once again, not here to start any arguments

  23. What @@AshuraDX is saying basically works for what I'm thinking of doing. The question is: How would I make it playable as a playermodel/NPC, while still having it face the camera? Could some one possibly make an *.efx that's just a sprite that never disappears? Perhaps that could work...... Thanks, again Also, @@Psyk0Sith also has a pretty good idea, but I would prefer having it face the camera That being said, a model like that could be like a blank canvas - easier to work with. So yeah, I'm not sure what would be best.
  24. It's actually not the *.cfg file, but it's the saber itself. Add a line to any *.sab file in notepad, saying: lungeAtkMove LS_KICK_F (Make sure you keep a backup) This will make it so that you'll do a kick, rather than a lunge. You can make it replace other things, too - I just chose to replace the lunge: kataMove LS_KICK_F jumpAtkUpMove LS_KICK_F jumpAtkFwdMove LS_KICK_F jumpAtkBackMove LS_KICK_F jumpAtkRightMove LS_KICK_F jumpAtkLeftMove LS_KICK_F Hope this helped - sorry for not making it clear enough lol
  25. I wasn't sure if this fit better in Mod Requests or Modding Assistance, but it's here, for now. Okay, so pretty much I want to know if it's possible to basically play as a sprite. You know, playing as a 2D Image (*.png, *.tga, *.spr, etc.) I have made an attempt using a saber with a custom effect (which failed miserably, as I don't know how *.efx files work) Thanks guys
