  1. So, it turns out the problem was my CPU fan was bugged. I had turn it back on. Not sure how it turned off in the first place, but everything seems to be working as it should. Thanks for all the help provided.
  2. It's been happening to other games unfortunately. I ended up switching to a different monitor. Same problems been acting up, tested with games that previously worked fine on the hardware. Not just Jedi Academy.
  3. I do have an option for hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Whatever that means. I'm still pretty green when it comes to PC hardware, admittedly. My GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Don't know why it didn't appear the first time I pulled my specs up.
  4. Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700F 2.10 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor It did happen in other games upon testing them. Jedi Academy was the first and most notable game to get massive frame drops.
  5. I just upgraded my monitor from 1920 x 1080 to a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Looks great, but Jedi Academy seems to be acting up. Running in OpenJK, the game's framerate constantly shifts from 175 down to 24 fps. The only fix I found was turning off dynamic glow, which I suppose is an option but it only works so well and doesn't stop all frame drops, which are still frequent. If anyone has any suggestions that doesn't require sacrificing something that worked fine on a lower resolution, I'd very much appreciate it.

  10. These are all great, but Castellaris just vibes with me the most. The skybox is excellent and the overall layout and architecture of the map is fantastic.
    I can't put all of my thoughts into one review, so I'll try to be brief. HOLY MOLY this mod is amazing! The atmosphere is insane! The models spot on! You got a map to act as a proper entity in this engine! The easter eggs (the ones I found anyway) were just plain nice! The bot routes are always appreciate of course. And I found that Pyramid Head was actually scary. I spawned him in the map to chase me (it seemed appropriate) and whenever he popped up, I genuinely jumped. He was actively chasing me down! Easy recommend.

  13. I'm a huge sucker for survival/horde type modes in gaming, so this sounds pretty hype. I wish you best of luck on making the final vision happen.
  14. I like the detail of the BF1 cross hair on the weapon's display. It's a nice touch.
    You captured the look and feel from the Original Battlefront games perfectly. The Emp Launcher is one of my favorite weapons in those games, so I'm very glad that's the route you went with this mod.
    The cocktail lounge was a smart choice for this map. There's a cozy vibe to it. The lights, holoart, and other details stick out well. My only gripe is that I wanted more.

  17. I wouldn't worry too much about the sabers. Chances are Plasma's already on top of it.
  18. I'm not sure about any new Star Wars games for the site outside of the other Jedi Knight titles, but I'm curious how other Raven Software games would fare here. Otherwise, very excited for the upcoming updates. And I enjoyed the ambient video on Kejim.
  19. Considering the quality, I have a hard time seeing the JKA myself. It looks fantastic!
