I agree. It feels strange for me. I have visited a lot of maps from Kotor on JKA, and now I see the real original versions.

I've always found it fascinating -- in a good way -- how many people have chosen to spend so much of their time bringing KOTOR faithfully to JKA. It's an interesting homage. But yes, there's nothing like the original, and you don't know it till you really experience it firsthand.

Be sure to install my Sith Academy Robes mod before heading for Korriban. It'll make the experience even more immersive. It changes nothing gameplay-wise, but makes the Sith wear genuine Sith robes instead of officer uniforms.
